Well, I think Max Payne 2 had a good Hard mode, decreasing your amount of saving making you think twice before saving and also the enemies arenīt stupid...they hide when you try to shoot them and their aim getīs better...
Oh yeah, I always think itīs rewarding when you get a different ending of the game when you beat it on hard mode

Why are here sooo many people?
I hate waiting....Iīve got an Idea! 
Sonneīs cape wrapped itself around Sonneīs waist, creating a spiked sharp tutu. He started spinning towards the front door, screamming people were dodging him. When he stopped at the door, he started a Maniac laugh.

The man was askingg someone, but noone was there.Latter The man found what he was looking for: A large hill of energy sucking flowers
This is it, here is our friend being prisoned.
The man pulled out a pair of hook swords.
The plants grow extremly fast, we need to destroy the roots.
The man vanished and reappeared on the other side of the hill, in the next moment the plant hill fell appart and a huge creature emrged from the sliced up plants.
*Cough* That was close....Thank you Mace....A bit longer and I would die....
Said the Troll king after he stood up.
