Reaverbot Name: Elchied

Comments: An elegant reaverbot  that would never us sneak attacks. Elchied is very fast and agile.Be very careful of it, since it will try to ram you with it's sturdy horns.  It can charge up energy in his horns and release them as a beam and it can shoot small projectiles fro the needles on it's back. It can also do an energy dash releasing electicity into the ground. If you turn your back to it, Elchied will not attack, but that doesn't mean that it won't try to face your front.  Note that if you see one, that means that another Elchied isn't too far away...




And also something completely unreleated. I'm helping with a mugen project called Memaman bit of destiny. It's a everyone vs everyone mugen. As long as it's amegaman 8 bit styled and has the basic moveset it is accepted. Check it out, it might be worth something.

I enjoy it because it's not the heavy handed, contrived melodramas or moeblob, slice-of-life borefests most anime seems to be these days. It's goofy, it's stupid, it knows that and it's enjoyable for all the wrong reasons.

Second Round of the characters not a lot of people know about because I have yet to start the project yet. Though that might have been a good idea, considering that the first batch of characters came out so well, thanks to the help of you guys and gals out there.

Just like before, I'm going to show you folks four different characters with three different designs (more-or-less). You must choose the design that mostly appeals to you/grabs your attention more. From left to right, the characters designs are assigned by letters [A, B and C]

The first [A] in the rows features the characters' the original designs (more or less), second being the designs that where going to be final designs, and the third [C] are the more recent designs I've made.

Now here's the twist, some of you may like design C, but you think that A's shoes/gloves/hair/etc. migt look good on the design. But you also think the color scheme B would be the best choice.

Instead of being limited to only the three choices, those who wish to participate or just contribute to the project may post some original suggestions for things that might make the designs a bit more appealing.

Example: "I don't like the hairstyle for Rotu, maybe if you made his hair a bit curvy it would make the character a bit more attractive."

or

"If Urey is supposed to be a voodoo man, he should have a button covering one of his eyes."
Something like that basically.

Suggestions like these will probably help in making all new and maybe better design then the three shown here. After the "votes" (read posts), I shall make one final alteration to the most popular design and said design shall be used for the project I have in mind.

Now then here's a special treat, those who made the suggestions that were used in the final design will not only be credited in the project, but also have the pleasure of having a character created by them appear in this project [said character will obviously not effect the overall story of this project], that is of course if said person wishes to have a character of their own imagining appear in the project.

The character in question can be either a competitor in the tournament in which the story of this fighters take place

or

The character can be a mere spectator for the matches.

Voting/Posting starts today on Jan, 18 2011 and ends on the Feb 4 2010, 12:00 A.M.

Here is a short summary of the characters so that might help you make a choice. From top to bottom:

Marston "Bartin" Samson

A fisherman from the small town of Missleberry. His a jolly man, though at times he can be a bit dense. Bartin, as most people call him, recieved a special gift when he caught a magical fish, he now posseses the power to transform and extend his arms into various fishing tools.

Bartin is competing in the Wishing Star Tournament in the name of his grandfather, The Swordfish Knight, who could not make it to this supposedly secret tournament due to an illness.

Tula (and her living abdomen, Larry)

Tula was once an ordinary spider who was the pet of an old and well known puppeteer. The small spider wished to have hand to play and perform along with her master. Thanks to some genetic splicing from extrateriestrials, Tula was shaped into a spider with hands. Since her master passed away of old age before this transformation, she decided to carry on his legacy for the remainder of her days.

Unfortunately for a certain Larry Geropetti, the transformation had he not unwillingly gave his human body for alien science. Now he is cursed to spend his days as a sort of parasite acting as the spiders abdomen.

Hearing rumors of the tournament where the prize is a wish for the champion, Larry convinced tula to compete, so he can get his own body back, and let her keep her beloved, puppet moving hands.

Jubelle

Julia was once a proud and respected drag queen in the city of Las Sinphony. Julia met her (read his) untimely demise and now inhabits a cursed cat costume. The drag queen's spirit itself cannot move the body itself, but thanks to a unnatural strong and fierce child that stumbled upon her, the two have become one being known as Jubelle, the beautiful killer.

Not much is known about the past of these two, but they are known to be vicious, uncaring, and quite egotistical. Jubelle reasons for entering the tournament is...an limitless supply of food.

It isn't easy keeping a young, growing embodiment of death fed with no salary and an appearance that scares most people away.

Gabriella Sephyr

A priestess in the old city of Eden, she lives in an orphanage taking care of the abandonned and/or lost children. But she was also given another purpose by her guardian angel, purify the world by smiting the wicked.

Gabriella can be a bit naive, but she's a good lass at heart. She follows her guardians orders in hope that the children she cares for and the rest of the future generations live in a peaceful world without having to experience the things she had seen in her youth.

Learning of the Wishing Star Tournament, Gabriella competes to make sure no one with wicked intentions gets their wish granted.

My suggestions:
1.Bartin - I say Use second design but give him the boots, shirt and gloves of design 3)the shirt has a black hook on it ). Also give him the bait from Design 2 aswell, and maybe  some fish baits on his belt? Maybe you could add some more details to his vest like some buckles and such, to make it seem more like a safe vest.
2.Tula - Her 2nd design but use Larry´s 3rd design. ALso I think stripped socks would look good on her.
3. Jebelle- another double team? 2nd design looks best IMO. Maybe you should give her the nose From design 1. Maybe adding some earrings?
4.Sephyr - 3rd design and give her the scarf from design 2. You can maybe add some more details to the bottom half of her dress?
