So much peaking =( And half of it isn't my fault~
EDIT: [parasitic bomb] mate you're fast O_oa
Which WRPGs are you talking about with the "fake people"? Oblivion? Graphics really aren't that bad. Do you just play games with stylized people, no realistic-looking faces at all?Well..to be honest I've never found WRPGs that appealing. Played Fallout and Elder Scroll I believe and I quit after one hour or so.
I'll PM you a good link.
I'm repeating myself alot in terms of recomendations, but why don't you try out a western RPG? The battles are more strategic in nature and ALOT more immediate, no boring turn-based repetitive animations, the characters just do the immediate moves, and although turn-based systems still work, the battles themselves look seamless.
As for horror, there are plenty of horror-entry games. You just gotta find where in the scale you locate.
Play Resident Evil 4, which is an action game with a few scares and horror elements. Then play something like Dead Space, a direct evolution of that concept into scarier territory.
It really depends on the MMO too. I hate the tedious grind, but when it comes to something like Phantasy Star Online, where you directly control your character and it feels more like a linear level progression with co-op buddies and rad bosses, I love it. You can also play the Spiral Knights beta, which is basically old-style Zelda on PC.
While RTS? Try Pharaoh. Not only it makes you feel incredibly good, but it's one hell of a game. You start out with two dingy sheds in the desert, then when you notice, you got a badass civlization.
And "simulation" has alot of definitions. You probably played a few already. What kinds of simulation are you talking about? Because you're not giving them a chance.

Just throw something at me.Final Fantasy 7
Well, it entirely depends on what game and genre you'd like to pick yourself. For example, when you say "RPG", do you mean western, or japanese RPGs? They're very different. And in terms of horror games, there are plenty of amazing ones to ease you into the genre, and end up making you love it. As for MMOs, all it takes is one great experience. Heck, I'll lead you through Phantasy Star Online myself if you want. Choose what kind of game you want first. Then, ask for suggestions.Well mostly I donīt like any RPG that has random encounters and the battles are really just the classic turn based battles...The only appeal is their story and characters...but if the gameplay is boring and repetive it happens that I forget playing it.
