"Er, right...I'll go do that." Akira told the host of this fine tournamet, cold sweat ran down the back of his neck.

The man headed straight toward the vacant terminal.

"Now lets see...how do I work this thing?" The man started pushing some random buttons.

"Now! Long range attackers!" He commanded the men to throw their knives, shoot their bows, fire their guns, destroying the worm. "Another win for us, is everyone alright?" Little hands shot up, Alucard quickly tended to their wounds.
[...What just happened?]

"Grr, damn brats. No respect towards their elders!" The man shouted and left to meet with the other staff members...or so it seemed.

"Did you manage to give him the chip, Mr. Steel?" A electronic voice asked from his pocket.

"Yep. I switched it with one of his own chips while he wasn't looking." The man had a crooked smile.

"Are you sure he will use it, Mr. Steel?"

"Of course, the chip is designed to look like your everyday battle chip...course there's just a 10% chance he will actually pick that chip among the one he has...let's just see what happens."

The man hid in a corner and pointed his P.E.T. at the terminal where Mirby and Chainsaw Man's operator were having a match. The navi was instantly logged into the stadium's terminal and he began to watch the two navi's fight.

The doppleganger dashed towards the worm, his cape stood erect an ready to strike with it's blade.
While it was closing in on the worm, its focus was on the floor itself.

He drew closer and closer, as his blade was about to meet the beast's skin, the being tripped on a small rock.
"Whoops!"

When it had tripped, the rock went flying straight toward the worm. A small glint of mischief could be seen in the doppleganger's eyes.

The small stone hit a nerve of the worm, which caused it to head towards the tentacle headed man at fullspeed.

[@Mirby: 8D]

The fake Strange Man looked at the armor with a stern look on his face.

"Uh huh..."

Its expression then returned back to its usual happy one. The creature knew it had to masquarade a bit moreuntl its brethren came into the room.

"That makes perfect sense! Besides theres no way my recent friend whom I never met before until an hour or so ago would hurt little old moi. Right buddy?" The fak gave Bluebeared a friendly pat in the back.

"By the by..." The creature then pointed at the worm who was close to breaking Ammes barrier.

"You think we should do something about that?"

The young man who was rushing his way towards the terminals did not watch where he was going and he roughly bumped into one of the tournaments maintanance staff.

"Hey, watch where your going kid!"

I really don't care what type of music they decide to go with. As long as the songs are nice to the ears and have an above average composition, I'm happy with the soundtrack.

Luckily, Sonic games are known to have good music.

The creature quickly answered the half-breeds question, in a laid back manner.
"Well, last thing I remember was that I was in the labyrinth with Bluebeard over there. I heard something and was ready to fight...then I got knocked out for some reason and woke up here. Bluebeard, what exactly happened."

It yawned again before continuing his speech.

"By the way. I saw a flamingo with a curly beard in my dreams. He was wearing a tuxedo and we had hot sauce for tea. Also we were sitting on a rainbow...it was a nice dream."

[A hive of dopplegangers to be exact, thats what happened!]

Back where the others where, the creature who was posing as the hooded man prentended to awaken from its slumber. It gave out a big yawn and scratched the back of its head.

"...Wha'd I miss?" It asked in the man's voice, looking at the rest of the group.

[Yesh...everyone must regroup in one single spot...Gye he he he.]

Strange Man rode one a one wheel motorcycle formed by his cape. His body was battered, his clothes were torn, and he was breathing heavily.

"Crap, crap, crap *huff* Gotta tell the others *huff* before..."

Suddenly, from the darkness before him, came a young woman draped in familiar clothing.

"Hey, Strange Man, we've been looking everywhere for you! Come on, we found a way to get out of this place!" It was none other than her saviour, Mirby. Calling him out in a mildly worried tone.

"OUTTA THE WAY, HEATHEN!!"
The panicked man jumped of his unimortocycle and his cape tip took the shape of a blade.

In one quick swoop, he cut off the woman's head with no hesitation. His cape transformed back into his vehicle and he continued to ran away at full speed.

Mirby's head fell to the ground, her body stood stiff as the stump on her shoulders began to bleed.

"...That wasn't very nice, Strange Man. You made my head fall off. That's just rude!" Said the voice of Mirby.

The head of the woman began to melt away, as a new one sprouted from the stump. (Think of it like the alien storeclerk from Men In Black.)

This creature twisted its forming head towards the fleeing man. It had cat like eyes and a devious grin.

"You and your companions can't escape from our home that easily." It said as it giggled in delight.

While its head was still facing its back, the being bent backwards and quickly persude Strange Man, crawling like a rabid bug.

Behind the creature, humanoid figures crawled in great numbers along the walls, ceilings and floors. All giggling like children, in a way that would send chivers down one's spine.

Ah, LOVED this one. There are some obvious faults to it, though.

- The whole game has a time limit of six hours. Can be completed it much less.
- NO difficulty is shown anywhere in the game, at all, except for the last two bosses and a little bit of the sci-fi level.
- Death's one-hit-kill. >_>
- Bike levels are awesome but are kinda simplistic and boring at times.
- No actual REAL conclusion to the story.

Not to nitpick on your nitpicking, but you forgot to add that the kills and tools you use for killing get a bit repetitive after a while.

Still love this game...what was with that ending though?...

And there was a time limit?

As for recent games, the only one I got would be Red Steel 2...which was a bit of a dissapointment for me.

Personally, I like Bossa Nova more than Wrapped in Black. Especially the up-beat version,

They're both good songs though.

"Hmm. Mr.Steel, it seems that the boy has been disqualified from the tournament...and he has yet to use the chip." Scope Man told his operator in a annoyed tone.

"I can see that Scope Man...luckily, I have more chips were that came from, just incase this would happen." Akira responded, as he got out from the trashcan dressed in a uniform much like the one the work crew were wearing.

"...Mr.Steel, where exactly did you get that suit?"

"Let's just say I was a master of arts and crafts back in highschool."

The sly man took out a spray of air freshener from his pocket and sprayed it all over himself. After he was done sanitizing himself, he threw the can away in the recepticle and began walking towards the winners lounge.

"Hmm...I think that chainsaw navi might prove to be a good guinea pig..."

Ah, I can see now why people don't like the Wii/PS2 version.

Like you, I liked it mostly because the game didn't kill you in some half-assed way like it constantly does in the PS360 version (I'm looking at you Eggman Land). And though the day stages were short and just 1 act (not counting the extra stages...which some are just either extensions of already existing stages, collect X rings or an even shorter alternate stages) I still enjoyed it more than the Hi-Def Day stages.

Hopefuly, this game might be a good ride...I'm still a bit skeptical like everyone else though.

As for Rush Adventure, some of the special stages just ruined it for me, especialy the submarine minigames...and the whole collecting of minerals thing. I could tolerate the racoon seeing as there are much more annoying characters out there.

I have, and I didn't like it. As for the special stages, I liked both Rushes special stages.
Maybe Adventures more than the former.

I can't remember if the stages were harder in 1 than in 2 though. They're both a bit of a blur to me now.

[Okay, well lets just finish this then.]

The attack seemed succesful. Three Navi's  laid on the arena's floor.

"Phew...that was tough. I had to use all of my remaining power just to deal that blow...well I should-"

Before the tired sheep could finish his sentence, he was struck by the very same attack he used to finish off Mirro Knight. The sheep was instantly fried to a crisp.

"...*cough*...Forgot ya could do that..."

The sheep quickly plummeted to the ground, exhausted and close to being deleted.

"Sheep Man! You okay!?" Shouted the navi's young operator

-------------------------------------------------------------

"Well now, that was quite a fight that kid put up...He better have his navi get up or this research would be all for naugt." The peeping tom said to himself.

"Analysing...Analysing...You must admit Mr.Steel, this two might be quite useful for our work." Scope Man though aloud, as he continued to observe the two navis from a distance.

"Yeah yeah, just keep gathering data."

...Why do you guys hate the Wii/PS2 version of Sonic Unleashed so much?

Only part I hated from that version was the 3-4 part Night stages shtick. And of course the first section of the snow level. And I can't say much about the nunchuk controls cause I only played the game with the classic controller.

Edit: And the boss battles (minus the final boss) that were better in the PS3/360 version.

Edit2: And of course the missing two stages, abscence of the moves for the werehog and the lifeless hub worlds in this version.

As for the news, I'm a bit skeptical about it. I'll wait for a video of the gameplay of this game to see if it really handles like SU Wii. Same goes for the DS version.

[Actually the lightning just hit the MK that was standing away from the mirrors. Though I'm taking this attack from the Sheep Man fight in MM10 (though instead of four is just one strong one aimed at a specific target.), the current it releases on the ground is weaker then getting hit with the bolt of lightning itself. Not sure if it will actually effect the mirrors though.]

[Since everyones in the labyrinth, I'll leave that for later.

[[Oh, jeez... I had written a post where my character had accidentally crash-landed infront of your character... That post is removed now.]]
[This is pretty much the reason I didn't post. I was waiting for bluebeard to do something related to it. Anyhoo...]

The hooded man waited for the creatures of the night to strike. He waited and waited...
Then he got bored.
He quickly withdrew his weapon and gave a dissapointed sigh.

"Hmmm...just my imagination then. Okay Bluebeard, let's get going!..."

When the man had turned, he saw there was no one there.

"...Well now...that was a real d-"

Back where Bluebeard had wondered off.

The StrangeMan that laid on the floor tilted his head slightly and gave a sinister smile.

"Gye he he he he"
