Superdee is correct, actually Nomura recently confirmed it via this set of news around the last bit o' paragraphs

"Of particular note in Nomura's statement is that he referred to the game's storyline as "the prologue for the final battle as the story approaches the final stages for the current series just ahead of the Kingdom Hearts series' 10th anniversary." "
2012 release for KH3?

OK, just saw the VersusXIII trailer from the stream ok...

TONS of show on the battle system, it's definitely an Action/RPG more so close to KH (the HUD looks practically the same) BUT.

You can ride Tanks and Bipedal machinery.

There's also this new hot armored chick later in the trailer.  There's also a glimpse of what seems to be an overworld section in a lush country view.  We'll find out more in time.

Oh and they'll reshow these trailers in better quality at the 27th (except the XIII-2 teaser, which will be shown again at the 20th) of this month.

Nonetheless, aside from KH: Dream Drop Distance (lmao), Versus XIII still holds the highest interest in me.

Actually the trailer for KH DDD (or KH 3Ds LMAO) is also pretty interesting.  There is one good set of news for that title, you can swap between Riku and Sora (or so it has been claimed).

What else...

Prishe from FFXI is confirmed for Duodecim.
And apparently having a file for the demo of Duodecim (Prologue it's called) will let the person have Aerith as an assist for the final ver. of Duodecim.

That news from that site sounds like an overreaction to a simple response from an email by Nintendo.

This makes me sound like i'm in denial, but...that's how it feels to me.  Just take it w/ a grain of salt.  Last Story isn't out yet in Japan. (not until the 27th anyways)

Somewhere in the back of my head though, I think Nintendo wants to save Last Story, Xenoblade (and dare I also say Dragon Quest X) as announcements for E3'11.
but I think that's just my miracle hope hoping.

It's also curious how Mistwalker's twitter page posts bits of game info in english, but twitter might have an auto-translation system, so I dunno.

2. The music reminds of something. Who's the composer again? I have a guess.

3. Oh boy! Full customization/dressing up! That's gonna be fun. Will clothes affect stats and gameplay somehow?

4. HOLY [tornado fang] IS THAT GANONDORF?

2: Nobou Uematsu :)

3. Don't worry, as far as other info has said, each piece of equipment do affects stats, but there is an option (for aethestics reasons of course) where you can put certain parts of 1 equipment (given that it's equipped) invisible and others are visible and the stats won't be affected.  You can make ALL of one character's clothing invisble and keep the stats.  So expect Birthday Suit Runs :D!!! (although, I think it varies from equipment to equipment how many parts of 1 can be altered around).  Not sure about cutscenes, aside from changing around stuff for hilarity reasons.

4. Look alike, he does. Hrm.

update: Character Index of The Last Story has been updated w/ two new characters

Ganond-I mean, Zangurg

Just finished the game~ the final set of events (including the final battle and _ _ _ _ 'reveal') were pretty damn epic, and well, heartwarming.  The cliffhanger is also pretty sweet~ Dark Dawn is definitely a nice intro to the new world of Weyard.

I AWAIT FOR GS4/2!!!

I also got damn lucky before all that w/ the forging materials.  I got 3 Verdant Swords in a row, and 1 Excalibur right on the first try forging the Oricalcum (sp?), add in w/ the Sol Blade, I got a fine set of warriors~  Shame I couldn't find a decent weapon for Rief, but everyone's defense stats is well balanced.  Such a damn shame I missed out on Gears Djinn.  Well, least the second playthrough should be interesting~ i'm glad the play around w/ stats is more or less as open as GS1 and 2~

I'm not sure if my mind can handle the tracks from Kanno and Mitsuda alone.

The only idea I had is, "what if Kanno chose Web Spider's stage and gave it a total jazz overload?"

I couldn't imagine anymore then that.

Birdie was white in SF1, but then became black in SFAlpha1

Of course, one can say that he got something similar to what happened w/ Michael Jackson, but uh...that's a subject i'd rather see play out in Gamefaqs more than here...

The color needs to be changed to the sibling color for Mia and Alex.  But it works either way.

From the looks of it, the main story will mostly have Elza as the main playable character.

Online however.  For both competitive and Cooperative, you can pretty much choose anyone, the equipment is based on the user's file naturally and for communication you can choose (as far as Mistwalker proclaims) 'any' line from that chosen character.  I just wonder to what extent the lines are available for the player's choosing.

It does seem like characters outside of the main party are usable too, maybe they join in on some missions in the main game perhaps?

Update:

More info involving the Online portion of Last Story

I GREATLY look forward to the RPM raid parties :) if this is to have EU and NA release that is...

New trailer.  Showing off Battles.

And a bunch of info.  Including shooting bananas at NPCs and stripping everyone (main party) down to their Undies~

Also, the stream that happened...last night will be replayed soon at UStream I believe, which shows off what I said.  And also a demonstration of multiplayer battle where Nobou Uematsu won.

Same here.  Even though I tend to...pay attention to something else (such as overall tone in lines and such, and find connections, etc.).

I like BBS Voice work overall.  Hell, Corey Burton as Ansem the Wise is AN EXCELLENT replacement to Christopher Lee.  So I have nothing to fear on hearing such a sexy, deep voice lol.

Aqua's VA is not bad, certain lines could've been done slightly better, but they are far from when they do happen.  Terra's VA works for who Terra is, so I had no problem, same case w/ Ven.

My fav is perhaps Mark Hamill as Eraqus.  I still get mindblow'd that it's LITERALLY the Joker voicing Eraqus.  And he did [tornado fang]ing awesome.

(I also loved Jessica Martin's performance as Samus, *shrugs* lol)

I share the same sentiments as Lou.

I personally would want Celes to be in, just so the roster isn't entirely a sausage fest, but since it's FF6, anyone is fine really.  Shadow and Cyan I'd love to see in Dissidia's mechanics.  Or even General Leo.

371
That's a given, but it is noteworthy to mention. (there's also Justice League, BTAS, Superman, etc. also getting help from TMS.  And there's Cybersix being completely animated from TMS)

Some more info into Duodecim

Apparently Dissidia's story will also be playable in Duodecim o.o

Anime is more underground here in the US. We only get anime through some networks of which require subscriptions, or Adult Swim, otherwise we need to order DVDs. Anime isn't nearly as prominant, though it's slowly becoming more popular, which we can tell by just looking at a few of our own shows, MAD did Grey's in Anime, parts of Avatar: The Last Airbender were actually inspired by FLCL, etc.

Madhouse also helped out in animating seasons 2 and 3 of the Boondocks.  The creator of the Boondocks also loves Anime.

):

I believe it's time for me to hunt down the Naked Gun trilogy on DVD...

Usable voiced in-game story quotes for online communication?

I sense a many lols from this :D!!!

The free camera control during cutscenes I hope is similar to Shadow of the Colossus and Ico
