the movie has not that great of a plot, but good animation, and action scenes.

I personally prefer Kite.

as for 60s-90s anime movies, Fist of the North Star anyone? or Macross (the one w/ the singing girl to end the war), or Gunbuster (well OVA, but hell it's great), or Ghost in the Shell~, or Venus Wars, or Black Magic M66, or Blade of Kamui (I liked it), or Curse of the Undead, Yoma, or that Ninja Gaiden movie , or well by now DB OVAs...anyways...i'll stop.

back from Mario Galaxy (3 stars left till 1...well 4 till 121   ) but before that, I saw Watchmen in Imax<3, it's also my first time seeing a movie in Imax.

in short, I am VERY pleased, even w/ expected changes (especially the ending), I am very pleased overall. Stylized fight scenes pleased me very much as well as the fun-to-listen-to reactions from two ladies beside me (mainly Jon's luminescent waggling penor and the oh-so-fun gory parts).  Oh and I LOVE how they did the beginning, showing all the minute and their fates (it's also kinda of a pleasing fanservice for those who read the graphic novel beforehand) and other things etc etc.

i'd give it a 10 cups of honey nut cheerios out of 10~
