Gaming / Re: Language in games, which do you prefer?
« on: July 22, 2009, 11:12:15 AM »
if it was another language, I usually give both a shot.

And since well, I've watched alot of foreign films, i'm not so discriminative about the whole "I'd rather watch it in a language I understand despite the convenience of words below the original language lolololololol" bullshit.  So if one game/animation/film is from a country, I give both or more a shot, sometimes I don't (mostly if the film/game/animation is from NA itself or another english-speaking country).

amusingly, noone complained about Punch Out's varied set of languages 8D

GG...

*sigh*

okay, i'll agree on the whole point of the word called the 'difference', but um.

yes they're from different countries and yes, because we have so many writers and artists or people who do both, henceforth there are many differences.

But to just downright say there is a difference between 'comics' and 'manga'.  Business aside, but w/ the amount of artists and writers, there will obviously be similarities and differences.  Go read Gyo, or The Maxx.

It's like saying novels from Europe are different than novels from North America.  Think about it.

I think I didn't made sense...but I don't want to make a wall of text, so GG, think a bit more thoroughly.  Your mentality is only on superhero genre and whatever Shonen Jump publishes and what Shonen Jump focuses on the selling point.  (besides, Death Note was published by Shonen Jump.  Think about that).

he'll probably reappear in the midway point of the game.

Around the, we'll hear a nice cheer of fangirls run across the earth and only I, will have a laugh, cuz I find fangirls amusing.

I actually want to witness such squeals in the New Moon or w/e the [tornado fang] it's called movie

Sweet to know, I can't wait for tomorrow now, thanks~  :D

update: just came from seeing it w/ 2 good friends.  Not bad movie, aside from me nitpicky that the last battle wasn't in, but aside from that, I really enjoyed quite a fair bit of this movie, especially the nice subtle comedy and the actors~ especially Alan Rickman~

so yeah, not bad~

- Since you're reading nonstop for upwards of 365 chapters though, you get the best of everything without the agonizing week long waits to only hear that character A did dramatic pose B and used speech of justice #1B, then conclusion.

this also applies to ALOT of series.  ALOT of currently running ones.
