Why the [tornado fang] would you do that to yourself?
Pick up 2 or 3 to start off. 1 is a [tornado fang]ing weak game. WEAK AS [parasitic bomb].
You're lucky I'm so pissed off at not being able to beat Woodman like I did last time I played.

Fine. I'm searching up a rom now.

Picked up Battle Network 1 on my Android emulator...until I found my Android to be running out of battery way too fast. >_<

Right now, I'm thinking, "Am I the only person participating in Steampunk Week after all of that work on my cellphone?"

I really, really wish I had the money for consoles. This seems like my kind of thing.

The programming part of the robotics team (which I am looking into joining, mind you) don't actually know of any games outside of League of Legends.

They don't even know what DOTA is.

Though the back in my day moment I had was the one guy who didn't like Megaman but we all know that's just me being butthurt.

Really, back in my day swag was cool.

What the hell happened?  In my day, teachers were supposed to teach the students.  Now all it is is teaching to the test.  The damn PSSA tests rule the education system and no one actually learns anything.  It's memorization of niggly things in order to pass a damn test.
My god you're right... :o

Well, that was my plan, but he didn't really specify whether he opposed me cosplaying in general or crossplaying specifically.

He kinda just said "Stop." in typical Ruri fashion.

Also the pic I posted of my ears is now old. My hair is different now and I wear the ears a lot higher up.

Ehh Ruri was showing his disgust at the idea of me cosplaying if I ever got contacts.

So, your opinions on Artillery F?

Ruri would be positively delighted to know that my father's new vision plan will cover contacts.

Too bad he's no longer here to happily support all of our decisions.

Human Error [Source Mod]
The Stanley Parable [Source Mod]
These two are brilliant Source games. By the way, remind me this weekend to work on a walkthrough for Artillery F. It really needs one of those, amirite?

Last couple of Christmases have been taken from me by my cousins. But at least my grandmother was nice enough to order something online last time. It turned out to be a piece of [parasitic bomb], but it was on my list and it was the thought that counts.

Besides, it makes a rather...mediocre...SNES emulator controller.

So, I'm trying to convince a friend that Pokemon is nothing like MLP.  He thinks that adult fans who enjoy the games are creepy, like Bronies are creepy.
This is a thing? Wow. B(

Anyways I have terrible coverage in this class for some reason.

So I learned something interesting today. If you want to get rid of the taste of toothpaste in your mouth faster (known to muck up the tastes of pretty much anything) eat something very sour. The acids in sour foods will neutralize with the bases in toothpaste (which, I hypothesize, is the main culprit behind making things taste bad). And don't worry if you hate sour foods; acids and bases actually neutralize each other, so it'll just taste slightly salty to you until the toothpaste's bases are all gone.

Science is fun :D

Well, are you?
Apparently not.

Sure, if you're a minimod
I have no idea what that even means.

And I mostly meant posts from 1 or 2 pages back. Nothing big, just to throw my two cents into a conversation I was late to.

I couldn't care less about the items, even if I tried.

It's more about the stuff that happens in the game itself and the characters for me.

Besides, this game has BROCK [tornado fang]ing SAMSON!

And Sam.

And GladOS.

Screw anything else.

That's how I ended up liking the original game. The original game had some great interaction between the characters, partly because they fit well together. You had a nerd, a dork, a psycho, and the [tornado fang]ing Heavy. This game...you kinda have three psychos and an annoying little [parasitic bomb]. GLaDOS has her funny lines, but firstly, she pokes her head into a lot of conversations, making them seem really forced, and I really missed the enthusiasm of the old dealer. I miss "The player has...A FLUSH!" which is abandoned for "*insert quip here* has a full house. e__e " She also makes way more commentary on how players win. I KNOW I have the higher pair, GLaDOS, I know you like to call people stupid but come on!

In general something feels off with the gameplay. Part of it is, I'm guessing, the pointlessly raised stakes which only serves to confuse the [parasitic bomb] out of someone like me who has played Poker Night 1 over and over again. Then there's the bounty. You know, when it came to Poker Night 1, the item system made a lot more sense. A character was like, "[tornado fang] I don't have the money. Have a gun I guess," or something to that effect. But the item system now is "Hey so the player is so super special that you have to wager something extra because I said so" "okay fine whatever even though I really don't want to do this." Not only that, but you have to actually WIN the tournament instead of bust him out, which pointlessly drags out any item run.

Then there's the voice acting. Max outstays his welcome by being way more than a background character, which is where he really belongs since Telltales clearly lost his voice actor, and now he just sounds disgustingly bad. Sam just sounds off. We all have complaints for Ashley's voice, I'll bet. Brock...well I don't know him, but he tends to deliver most of his lines in the exact same tone almost every time, which I know this voice actor can do better. Craptrap and GLaDOS are, ironically, the only spot-on characters.

I could go on, but...I'm assuming I've already outstayed my welcome, so TL;DR didn't like the voice acting, gameplay is off, and the characters don't seem matched well.

Jon 'n Arin (well mostly Arin) are now tackling Megaman X, now.
HOLY FUCKALKWNDLFIFUAHNLV

I'm way too morning-wakies to be watching youtube but I have to see this.

EDIT: I watched Part 1. Arin...just...like...no. Arin, I know you love Megaman X, and Imma let you finish, but I think I play better than you. Granted I don't do speedruns (I prefer taking the least amount of damage and the least misses) but you...mmf.

EDIT2: Wow I am rusty at MMX. I can't even skate through Chill Penguin with no-miss no-reflect no-damage.

I'm eying that Garry's Mod.
I wish I could point to a specific item in my inventory. Since that's what I was trying to do. But clearly it didn't want to do that. Oh well.

Get on Steam in about, say...six hours?

By the way, anyone getting Poker Night 2...don't waste your money. Save it for A.R.E.S. or something. Unless you're reeeeeeally desperate for some terrible TF2 / BL2 items.

Half-Life 2: Episode One [PC]
Half-Life 2: Episode Two [PC]
Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands [Wii]
Final Fantasy Tactics Advance [Wii]
Artilerry F [PC]

Good to know you're getting into Artillery F (psst...everybody here should play it if they like Megaman Zero and Metroid). By the way, you want me to continue that lucky streak of generosity?

On another note, I ALSO got Poker Night at the Inventory 2 for myself. Gonna play that when it installs.
