These two are brilliant Source games. By the way, remind me this weekend to work on a walkthrough for Artillery F. It really needs one of those, amirite?

I've been playing 1187 and Triage more, actually. Out of all four, 1187 is the best. Stanley takes second place though. I'm playing Triage because a couple of guys on Reddit advertised it and it's buggy as hell and kind of ugly, but it makes up for it with pretty good weapon mechanics and balancing and out of all first person shooters I've played, a source mod made by a couple college guys has the best large-scale battles I've ever played.

Human Error [Source Mod]
The Stanley Parable [Source Mod]
Triage [Source Mod]
1187 [Source Mod]
Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time [PC]
Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands [Wii/Physical Copy]
Prince of Persia Original [Wii/Forgotten Sands Extras]
Final Fantasy Tactics Advance [GBA/Physical Copy]
Queen's Crown 2 [Android]

Playing FFTA gave me a huge blast of nostalgia for playing on a Game Boy Advance. I need to track down all my old games scattered around our storage and see if I can pick up some GBC titles to go with it.

I feel that way too, but my mom and grandma corner me and MAKE me tell them what I want. o_o

My sister got pissed off when I told her I didn't want anything. XD

[parasitic bomb]'s always cheaper online. My mom is smart enough to notice that.

Although we just found this secondhand game store where everything is dirt cheap. Got a couple of new-condition Wii games for like twenty bucks and I got a couple GBA games for five bucks each. (At Gamestop I think the GBA games are still like 10-20.)

Last three christmases I didn't even bother. Let them get me what they want. I feel like a greedy [dark hold] anytime I ask for anything.

Emil pls

I actually named him Ratatosk after the mythological figure, not the bipolar kid.
Can't deny I don't like the Knight of Ratatosk though.

I have a habit of naming my Pokemon after mythological figures. My Cyndaquil is Ratatosk, my Salamence is Nidhoggr, Spinarak is Arachne, Pikachu is Zeus, etc.

One of them bugs who are attracted to light came over to my monitor to chill. Started waving my cursor around it. It's pretty freaked.

It's pretty weird, as I didn't use any theme.  My player name was "Spanky," and the rival's name was "a loser."

hey quickie
you know what's funny
naming your rival [sonic slicer]
haha
so funny

Madoka Magicka so cheery and kawaii desu~ 8D

I've never actually watched Meduka, don't intend to either. I know it's supposedly some kind of twisted dark [parasitic bomb] but honestly it looks pretty boring.

People probably associate the anime with the games, seeing as the anime is much more... Childish, than the games are. That likely accounts for most of those kinds of people.

So, I'm trying to convince a friend that Pokemon is nothing like MLP.  He thinks that adult fans who enjoy the games are creepy, like Bronies are creepy.

I just learn to ignore those kinds of naysayers, and rather they drown in their CoD and go to Xbox Live Hell.

You just did. 8D

YOU FREAKIN MY MIND, MAN.

I preferred Sara's TOM3 look myself. It was the one I grew up with. As for the new Absolution and the TOM5 design, I love those.

Never noticed that. And I played it a shitload.

Oh, and yes, I quoted a post from 2011. Get on mah level!

gee whiz

Okay here's how this topic works: You can post anything you're thinking.  Anything.  Whether it be crazy, random, or serious now to celebrate the revival I'll post 2.

"I never knew that cotton was used in ice cream, old school film strips, nail polish, lipstick, and bombs."

"God I hate how people can be so biase about video games without a darn good reason, like for example a friend of mine said he didn't like Megaman or Halo because he thought it was the same as Classic Metroid and Metroid Prime respectivly.  Not true Megaman and Halo may be similar to them at a certain degree but there are still enough differences for them not to be just carbon copies.

Another one hates games that are overly hyped like Super Paper Mario, Super Smash Brothers Brawl, anything that was displayed in the Xbox360 previews.  I can sorta get that Brawl is getting kind of boring now but Super Paper Mario along with Super Mario Galaxy broke the RPG trend that nintendo kept making and brought back that platformer game style we know and love so I can't agree with him there."

Ugh sorry for the long rant, I had to get that off my chest.  Now post away!

It's just that people don't like similar concepts. The same argument was presented that Assassin's Creed was a ripoff of Prince of Persia when AC1 came out.

/quote
Well that didn't feel special at all.

I forgot to mention back on my last post that along with Prince of Persia, I got a legit copy of FF Tactics Advance. 'Cept I don't want to play it since it has a file sitting there with 136 hours clocked.

I'm the best at the Zero games but between the time I played them on emu on GBA and the time I got it on DS, I had a bit of trouble on the Easy Campaign.

Good to know you're getting into Artillery F (psst...everybody here should play it if they like Megaman Zero and Metroid). By the way, you want me to continue that lucky streak of generosity?

On another note, I ALSO got Poker Night at the Inventory 2 for myself. Gonna play that when it installs.

I'm eying that Garry's Mod. I already have DOTA 2 and Portal 2.

Nintendo not having a conference? That's new to me. (Then again I only started paying attention to E3 like a couple years ago.)

Personally I'm more excited for what Valve doesn't have to say at E3.
