Robotic dopplegangers of the good guys are always fun.  I particularly like Metal Cream.  She's delightful.  :3

Rockman Series / Android/Reploid/Robot Blood
« on: November 08, 2012, 05:11:45 AM »
I'm sure this has come up a million times before in the past and, in fact, I think there was a decent enough answer given at one point.  However, I have long since forgotten what the answer was, so I'm going to go ahead and ask here:

What do robots in the Rockman universe bleed?

Most people say they just bleed motor oil, but I seem to recall that there was a very specific fluid that flows through a robot's/android's/Reploid's "veins" much like blood flows through a lot of organic things.  What I can't remember, however, was what it was.  It's red like blood (sometimes a darker shade of red than normal blood), has the viscosity of blood, and apparently stains and sprays like blood, but it's not supposed to be blood.

So what is it?

The logo agrees, but the page title disagrees.

Do you ever have anything useful to say?  Seriously.  Some people fart around on Facebook.  Some people trip about on Tumblr.  Other people people go around on Gaia Online.  I'd go on, but I really can't think of any more like-minded sites.

And yes.  Yes I do.  I italicize all proper titles, so deal with it.

ZenWriter.  I just saw an "advertisement" for it on Tumblr and it pisses me off... because why the [tornado fang] should a word processor have to be a software equivalent of a [tornado fang]ing iPhone?!  I use a word processor to process [tornado fang]ing words, not to listen to my music playlist or watch clouds roll by.

[tornado fang]!!!  >_<

It's entirely possible that happened on Planet Mega Man.  I was all over the community back in the day.

I'm also the idiot that reported that one drama-filled story about the community tearing itself apart from the inside back in the day.  Back when I had the power to post news to this site.  8D  ... I feel ashamed of the kind of person I used to be.  :(

Do you eat hardboiled eggs at all?  Those are individual eggs.  Unless you somehow get an egg with a mutant twin embryo.  Then it's terrifyingly delicious.  :D

If I remember Ares right, he (she?) was an "internet toughguy" kind of person.  And also enjoyed a good bandwagon on numerous occasion.

But hell, I don't remember an awful lot from the old days.  Until Ladd reminded me, I didn't even remember... the incident... that got me self-exiled.  :B

Perhaps the same reason why we don't have the ever-awesome interrobang‽
I don't know what that is.
It's that thing she posted.
(click to show/hide)
It's basically an overlapping question mark and exclamation point and functions exactly the same.  It gets its name from the fancy name for question marks, "interrogative point," and the programmer jargon name for exclamation points, "bang."  "A sentence ending with an interrobang asks a question in an excited manner, expresses excitement or disbelief in the form of a question, or asks a rhetorical question," according to Wikipedia.

I just had a really simple concoction for lunch.  Basically, I cooked a can of regular ol' corned beef hash in a frying pan and dumped a couple eggs on top of it.  I ended up eating half the pan (and coincidentally, one egg) and left the other half for whomever wants it.

Seriously debating going back upstairs and eating the rest, actually...  There was absolutely zero interest in it from the one person who was awake up there.  *doesn't feel slighted at all, nope, nope*

Edit: He changed his mind.  Awesome!  :D  Damn, there goes dinner, lulz.

Fun fact: The Zero Nightmare used Zero's X4/X5 sprites while playable Zero used the new ones with the less-swishy beam saber and the open hands.

I was going to say, "Because you can't be a mysterious, near-renegade bad-ass if you give people thumbs-up all the time," by I like that answer better.

so in other words it was your own stupid fault for not doing anything about it earlier
Yep!  You know, it's funny.  I let this slide for so long because I figured it was all on them.  I [sonic slicer], I moan, I complain.  Yet, I never usually complain at them.  I just complain at anyone who'll listen rather than someone who could help.  Kind of reminds me of a quote...

"I'm not the type of person who'll disrupt things just so I can [parasitic bomb] comfortably."

Static Shock was on Disney XD for a while, during the very early days of XD.  It was totally awesome.

Yes!  :D  On The Hub!  The Aquabats! Super Show!, after years of false starts, finally came to exist!  And it.  Was.  Glorious.  It's best described as Adam West's Batman meets Power Rangers meets Pee-Wee's Playhouse.  Or at least that's how I'd describe it.  It's mostly live-action, but there's also a cartoon segment in every episode.  Most episodes also have a fake commercial segment.  There's a lot of fighting and a bit of music, too.  It's just... just... super!  X3

I'm with McFly on that one.  XD

I second it, but I doubt sincerely that Disney is that smart.

They killed Toon Disney, after all.  And most of the interesting programming on Disney XD. (Which was all of one show for me: Static Shock.  Then again, that may have been AOL-Time Warner's fault.)

I made an S3M arrangement of it once.  It was just a basic arrangement, though; nothing fancy.

[brony hate or something, I don't know, I didn't read past the first two lines]
The Aquabats! Super Show!, [chameleon sting]er!  Watch it, learn it, love it.

Also, Dan Vs..

Also-also, Happy Days and ALF.  And sometimes Batman.  Of both the animated variety and the Adam West variety.

Also-also-also, well... most everything else on there, really.
