No one being should have total control over all Power Rings. Those things are too powerful. D8

Wacky Workbench Zone. Whoever designed that zone should be shot. Out of a cannon.
... or maybe just forced to play through that zone. In Time Attack mode. Until they can get a score of under one minute for each zone. >_>

At least we get to see a really slack-ass Cutman sprite, among other things.

That brings up an interesting question, though: Why does OVER start out in 21XX instead of 20XX, where he was created? I didn't see it anywhere that OVER was made, or even modified, by Dr. Cain. Just Right and Cossack.

"Data.rsdk"

... oh, right. I was looking for a way to get into the data files for Sonic CD (2011 version), wasn't I?

*sigh* Alrighty...

Ruri, you have been nothing but annoying and hostile to not only myself, but a number of other forum members, new or old. You are consistently a [Bumpity-Boom!] regardless of whatever topic you're a part of and I, for one, do not appreciate it. While I realize that "this is the Internet," where almost everyone is a jerk, I can't help but wonder why you in particular choose to act this way. If you're trying to get a reaction, here it is. I'm reacting. You've caused me to lose my temper and fail to restrain myself more than once. But now, I'm tired of it.

I've tried being nice to you. I've tried being an ass to you. I've tried being sarcastic and I've tried giving you the benefit of the doubt. But now, I'm done. I'm not going to try with you anymore. You are simply not worth my or anyone else's time.

Consider finding another, more constructive hobby.

Holy god damn, Quickie. Your art never ceases to amaze me. ._.

Then again, you're trying to make a living of it, so it should be no surprise you're just going to keep getting better and better at it.

That was literally my entire Game Design course last year.
Multimedia [tornado fang]ing Fusion.
OH YEAH WE'RE DOING SOME HARDCORE DEVELOPING HERE
That's terrible. Unless they were having you code your own engines and such, I mean. In which case, Multimedia Fusion is actually a pretty acceptable platform. It was the basis for N64Mario's Mega Man engine, after all. (Not to mention ACE Spark's games.)

Anime cat-girl accessories do not equal a "fursuit". And anyone can wear a collar with a bell.

Also, I [tornado fang]ing hate fursuits with a passion. As I said in another topic, 99% of all non-partial (read: "stage make-up and sleeves") fursuits look [tornado fang]ing ridiculously, and not in a good way, like sports team mascot suits. No, fursuits are just an abomination as far as costumes go -- even the "really good-looking" ones, and most furries wear them to hide the fact they're A. guys, or B. bald and/or fat guys.

Animals ears and/or tails and partial fursuits are considerably less stupid-looking. And animatronic suits (which most furries would never consider getting because they're [tornado fang]ing outrageous (and usually take a two-man team to operate anyway)) can look good, if done right. But your average fursuit is just a waste of everyone's time and money.

There's a slim chance it may somehow be more fun to play than it is to watch. But this really isn't a commercial-grade product we're seeing here. It really, really isn't. It's barely "fan-game quality." Which is horribly depressing, considering all cool drawings of OVER-1 we saw, not to mention that (extremely overused) theme song. I don't even know what to compare it to. Even your modern free-to-play online JRPGs give more freedom than this does. (Though I have to say, it kind of reminds me of Grand Chase in some ways.)

I know you're joking, but I still can't shake off that strange feeling you're not.

That's what upsetting me right now.
The fact I get those kind of feelings sometimes. Sigh.
What? You don't ever get the urge to run around naked in your house while listening to video game music? I thought everybody did.

I know what post you're talking about.

Apparently, there's a video of the Flutter getting sucked into a trans-dimensional portal in the game data. Protodude (and whomever reported it) thought it may have been something completely unrelated to the game, but I personally figured it was just a plain old cut-scene that plays later on. Coincidentally, the aforementioned post disappeared after I suggested this.

Curiously, so did a post about another "Famitsu" freebie, just after Xover was released.

Edit:
Heatman plays Rockman Xover for 20 minutes here (Keep an eye out for Apo and Dah from DASH 2 at 9:43):

I honestly can't defend this game anymore. I think they somehow made it less interesting since the Tokyo Game Show demo. How do you even do that?!

Aw, come on, you guys! It's a new Rockman game! It's totally--

Yeah, okay, even Protodude's given up on it. Seriously, how the hell do you explain 10-second load times for the card items on a non-external format?

Eh. Public events are overrated anyway. You can't run around naked at a public event, after all. (Unless you like getting arrested.)

Guys? Guys! Guys, guys, guys-guys-guys-guys-guys.

Capcom just released a brand new Rockman game in JapanJust released.

Oh my god, I'm so excited! I hope they bring it here to the US! Even though I don't have anything that runs iOS!

I more or less used your idea, Align. Thanks for that. XD

So! I was debating not posting this, but then I figured, "Why not?"

Jo-Jo got a new outfit!

I tried putting as much detail as physically possible in it, but I think a bit still gets lost due to the fact it's a small sprite. I dunno.
The hairband on the second sprite wasn't exactly what I had in mind, but on the original design for this outfit, the hairband was just kind of... there. It didn't do anything useful. This way, it keeps that one gigantic bang out of Jo's eyes. Kind of looks funny, but looks okay, I s'pose...

So... I recently read through issues 1-16 of Archie Comics' "Mega Man" series. I have to say, I really like what they've done with it! Rather than going totally crazy with original content, they've kept the comics true to the games, only adding the occasional side-trip here or there to flesh out some of the random missing details and such. And one side-trip included a trip to a robotics fair where we meet the subject of my latest Mega Man 7-style spritework.

This is LMN-001*, "Quakewoman," Codename: Tempo. No, she's not bored. Or angry. She just lacks personality. Literally! Her personality was disabled by her creator, so she almost always has a look of tedium about her. She was actually a lot of fun to sprite and I intend to do one for her battle armor soon.

* "LMN-001" or "LaLinde Model Number 001". Thanks for the heads-up on this, Lilac-DownDeep @ deviantART!

And speaking of Sonic, I had an interesting experience in the last hour. I described it thusly:
Started playing Sonic CD on Steam. Reveling in a sheer, absolute nostalgic bliss I haven't felt in years. Enjoying the US soundtrack I grew up on to pieces. Deftly avoiding time travel posts for my own personal amusement. Got a hug from Amy Rose. Reached the very top of Collision Chaos Zone. Hate those freaking mantis robots. Finally got a single Time Stone.

Stopped playing at Tidal Tempest, Act 1. Had to.

Was suddenly overcome with a severe case of the fangirl squees from all the childhood memories.
