Yes, I did write that review.  Every single word of it.  And the typos, too!  I also did bring up some good points in my review:
- It has Roll (albeit in a "Blues Suit") as a playable character.  And Megaman.  And Protoman and Bass.  That's all pretty cool -- particularly the first part.
- Some of the unlockable characters (whom I will probably never unlock) are also nifty.
- It also runs very well on my old Compaq Presario F700 laptop, which is surprising, given it's a Game Maker 7 (?) game.

Unfortunately, the smooth 30 FPS display and being able to play as some of my absolute favorite characters, completely with their usual abilities, is not enough to help me ignore the following facts:
- The physics are completely off, not only for all characters (possibly by-design a'la Rokko-Chan, possibly by-mistake like 90% of the fan games out there), but for any active object.
- Solo-play is almost impossible without cheating or using the over-powered "hidden" character, who in-turn would probably unbalance multiplayer.
- The extras simply aren't worth the effort and the power-ups are fairly worthless.
- Item distribution is completely out-of-whack (only certain spawned enemies drop power-ups, and not all the time, either)
- The difficulty settings only add artificial difficulty instead of a balanced challenge (most people go this route, though, so...).
- And finally, there is absolutely no way whatsoever to get the game to play in any kind of "windowed" mode.  Granted that fullscreen 320 x 240 is doable, it's certainly not ideal.

Now, if there's some amount of positives I missed, I'd also like to be enlightened.  But I, for one, simply did not find the game enjoyable.  Then again, the game wasn't meant to be played by a single player (despite the option being there), so what I do know?  8D

Okay.  This is totally awesome.  Matt actually replied back, a little bit ago!  And he said he understood where I was coming from in my opinions!  :D  I thanked him for his reply (it really made my night) and admitted that I may have come across rudely while I was just trying to be straight and to the point.  I then added that really, it was all just subjective.  "Like how I like Dragonball Evolution when everyone hates it."

Happy ending for me.  :)

So, I left a very negative comment on RushJet1's "Mega Man 3 Remade"
video
.  I later decided to pop back in and grab a copy to post here as part of a rant.  Then I noticed I'd gotten a reply.

The reply itself was harmless enough.  Just a basic "calm the [tornado fang] down" put politely.  But then I noticed who it was that was doing the replying.

Matt.  [tornado fang]ing.  Wilson.

Now, I'm afraid he thinks I'm a jerk because of the strong words I used when critiquing RushJet1's work.  Specifically the part where I said "it has to be said."  Because it did have to be said.  Because I didn't see one [tornado fang]ing negative word being said about the project despite the fact it's absolutely horrendous. (I know I said it was good earlier, but that was before I actually listened to more than two songs.)

I'm sure the picture you have must be quite lovely. Unfortunately it just so happens to be NOT THERE.
Fixed.  Lesson learned:

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who remembers The Lost Vikings.  They were Synapse and Silicon Blizzard classic characters!  :D

I'd say "do Blackthorne," but he'd basically be a biker guy, so...

I'm completely unfamiliar with the series, but I like these 8-bit renditions of the music.

I have sunglasses!  I can't wear them over my glasses, though. :(
I have clip-ons.  I don't like them.  They're not dark, like the really awesome pair of giant pair of BluBlocker knock-off sunglasses with corner shades.  They fit over my normal glasses perfectly.  And I used to wear (classic) Weird Al glasses back then.  The sunglasses destroyed on the city bus or something.

I swear, you cannot buy an awesome pair of clip-ons these days.  I just want a pair that's so dark, you can't see my eyes! As I creepily stare at you.

Sunlight makes me sneeze, too.  Sunlight reflecting from the snow will also make me sneeze.

Ah.

Back on the topic of Juno:

Oh god, it's horri--  Oh, no, wait.  He has pretty eyes.

Edit: I fixed it.  See, this is why I don't hotlink.  I can never be too sure who can and can't see it.

RushJet1.  What have you done.  Why did you go and make my favorite classic series game Konami-cool, you fool?!  You're raising my expectations for the future! Nevermind.  I'm not impressed anymore.  You made too many mistakes a ruined too many great songs.

I know it was part of the script, but at the end of the last episode, Boomstick shouting "Somebody get me a table to flip!" was a nice touch.  Heh heh.

"Grandpa Joe was a complete ass in 'Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory'.  He sung about Charlie's Golden Ticket like it was his own, made snide remarks about people behind their backs, and encouraged Charlie to steal Fizzy Lifting Drinks.  Then he has the gall to call Willy Wonka a "monster" because he "dashed the boy’s hopes and dreams" (ie. his own hopes and dreams)?  Excuse me?!

Frankly, I'm a little surprised Wonka didn't turn around and go "Remind me, who was it that encouraged young Charlie to steal my Fizzy Lifting Drinks?"

Oh, I know.  I've already got the "25 minutes or under" thing for Time Attack done, through a series of really lucky runs of various other zones. (I found pretty decent routes through Tidal Tempest Zone 2 and Metallic Madness Zone 2, among other things.)  It's just that there is practically no areas that aren't freaking pulse floor.  It was a pain in the ass to get into the Past Zone to smash the machinery in both zones, not to mention finding the one in Zone 1 was a purely "guide damn it" moment. (Literally, in my case; I had to look it up.  You normally avoid getting crushed, dammit!)

Wacky Workbench Zone: The official "WTF" level of Sonic CD.
