Not "stole," but you're right on the money, Mirby.  If Capcom was just going to do this all along, why didn't they just say so?

"Top men" indeed.  Lazy fucks.

Edit: By the way.  I'm not against the project itself.  I'm against Capcom using it for their 25th anniversary.  Especially when you stop and consider how many other, less Street Fighter-related projects there've been in the last couple years.

Rockman clearly doesn't deserve something specifically for him, I guess.  It has to be some kind of "tie-in" or gimmick.

They didn't.  I know, in my head, the proper thing to do was take off and let them be.  So I did.

If they want to come to me, they're more than welcome, but I'm not going to actively offer a hand to them anymore.  Mostly the latter friend.  If that's how she wants to cope, that's fine.  I just don't want any part of her ridiculous fantasy -- particularly since she "character" she's playing is from a series I really have no interest in.  She's such a fangirl, sometimes...

So.

One friend is furious and depressed over circumstances beyond their control.
Another friend just got dumped and stabbed in the back by their significant other, probably after they “got what they wanted” out of them, and has suddenly changed their user page to something entirely unrelated and rather teenage girl-ish.  But it’s all just an act — a “roleplay”, apparently.  So it’s okay.

And I can’t seem to do a damn thing to help either of them.

Welp, I’m going to bed.

I'd love to play CosmicBreak, myself.  Unfortunately, the game utterly breaks as soon as I hit any lobby, due to my extremely jittery connection.  It's the damnedest thing!  The trial missions work just fine!

I saw part of an episode from the new season and it didn't seem bad, but it was also a overload of Pinkie Pies.
Oh my god, don't even get me started on that episode.  ::)

You would be right at home with the other writers on TFN.
Maybe.  Aside from the fact that I'm not a total Star Wars nutter.  ;)

I do write a lot of dark and emotional stuff, though.  And I'm generally not even depressed or even sad when I do it.  Hell, when I wrote my 50-page story about Joseph and a friend of mine's character, "Iris," it had a lot of emotion in it and a happy ending, where Joe and Iris become friends after everything.  And it was apparently so good, or the extra chapter I wrote was so bad (it had a bittersweet ending and a lot of drama)... that Iris' creator went and added another three chapters to the story themselves, which took place later on.  That had a lot of emotion, too, but an even happier end, since Joseph actually gets the girl this time.

... but then, I wrote a bondage/torture fanfic in response to a challenge from another friend.  And it had a very unhappy ending for everyone.

So!  Yeah.  I'm pretty dark in my fiction.  x:

That's something else I liked about the film.  All the seemingly random, but completely relevant plot twists and turns.  There was just enough there to not be overwhelming, and each one was entirely worth paying attention to.

So, I finally broke down and saw it.  I have to say, the movie was pretty slow in the beginning, but once you got to the middle of the movie, it really picked up quickly!  And man!  This movie is surprisingly dark for a kids' movie!  But also extremely heartwarming.  The interactions between Vanellope and Ralph are just filled to the brim with "daww" moments.  And laughs.  Lots of laughs.

"Double-stripe!"  X3

Now, I will say that Robotnik, Sonic, and a number of other characters really had no business cameoing in this movie.  This movie is about game in a "retro-style" arcade, not about gaming in general.  All the console-exclusive cameos (there weren't many, but they were there) were an unnecessary feature, considering there was a million arcade-exclusive characters they could have used. (Most of which, they did.  Heh.)  But since they were purely cameos, it really didn't do much.  Really, the only video "real-life" game character that got a serious role in the movie was everyone's favorite foul-mouthed cube-hopper, Q*Bert! (I'll be seriously surprised if he doesn't get a new game after this movie.)

You know, this movie also makes me wonder...  This was just one bunch of games in one arcade.  If they got another Wreck-It Ralph machine hooked up to the same power network, would Ralph end up meeting himself?  And would the other Ralph be just as discouraged as the one in this movie?  Maybe this quandary will be answered in the sequel, if there is one? (Though, I think the video game serves as a "half-sequel".  It also justifies console game characters appearing in the arcade, somewhat.)

All and all, great movie.  Would easily "wreck"-ommend it to anyone who likes heartwarming movies with happy endings and video games.  :3

How many people are working on this project, again?  If it's just you, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume that real life is severely hindering production, as is the case with most fan games.  And, in fact, would commend you for making something this complex all by yourself (aside from the skeleton provided by Blyka).  But if you have an actual team of people, each dedicated to one or two tasks...
Still, I'd think getting the physics engine as perfect as possible would be something of a priority before releasing the game for public evaluation.  I can't fault you for working on stages, enemies, bosses, and so-forth, though.  ACE Spark is about as random in his own projects.
Though the physics engine was his #1 priority before everything else...

Also, I appreciate the fact that you're handling my sometimes-less-than-tactful criticism maturely.  It shows me that you're a pretty okay guy and not someone who thinks he's God's gift to the fandom.  :)

Seriously.  I'm not that special, I just get bored easily.  ._.

I'm glad people are enjoying it, though.  I'll probably make a page for the "archives" in my creations thread one of these days. (TinyImg tends to not override images, so I actually have all of them handy.)

Strawman reminds me of Professor Crane, AKA "The Scarecrow" -- specifically his very first Batman: The Animated Series design.  He has that same look, but I think you did enough to differ him from Scarecrow. (Or at the very least, enough so it's an "allusion" rather than a "rip-off".)  Wireman also reminds me of Springman for some reason.  I guess it's the vaguely similar design.  Flarewoman is pretty cute, though, and Tombman looks pretty bad-ass.

I really dig these designs.
