I'm somewhere in between. I have plenty of time for video games, I just don't have the attention span for gaming that I once used to.
My current situation is that I've given up on single-player games completely. My unfinished game pile has grown way too big to add any more titles to it. Stuff like Super Mario Galaxy, while great and all, I just can't sit through. I don't really know why, but gaming has lost most of its appeal for me. I guess I was more easily amused as a kid, maybe because there was always a sense of mystery behind games. Nowadays, I just see the limitations; invincible NPCs, invisible boundaries, linear stages, repetitive gameplay, and overdone storylines. And now I have to deal with games trying to be movies.
There's practically no motivation for completing these games, because it feels like such a waste of time now. I'll still play certain handheld games, and RPGs if I can customize things. But that's as far as I go.
Mutliplayer is a different story though.
