I still recall how Naruto was initially supposed to wear goggles, but the author changed it to a headband, because he was too lazy to draw goggles on numerous panels.Yeah that was mentioned on TVTropes too, which I can kind of understand.
I see. Go on.Naruto originally had absolutely no ninjas and Naruto was a fox demon in human form trying to learn about the human world and make friends. This Naruto was supposed to be even more mischievous and bratty, though surprisingly the Sexy Jutsu actually has clothes and is not naked, and seems to have taken place in the modern world. The Nine-Tailed Fox would have been his father and there was still a Thrid Hokage archetype too.
