Should Veiwtiful Joe be added to this?

I also loved the Gameboy Legend of Zelda games that Capcom was somewhat involved with.  The Oracle games to this day are my favorite.

What's a Malapropism?

19429
But considering that he's a cheap mass produced robot then isn't it appropiate? :P
Not for Light and Cosake.

19430
I wouldn't mind if it was a armor of X, but since he isn't he looks like a lame fan made character.  I like the design but only if t was X.

19431
It's easy to say that, but demos are supposed to interest you in the final product. Xover's demo is literally just "tap the buttons until things go away" and not much else.

And you know, this guy RPing as Luka seems to think that there's only one kind of extreme opinion. "You're a disgusting hateful asshat for not being okay with this" is pretty damn bad, too.
Yeah that's what I'm thinking too, he really doesn't seem to understand other opinions and again I really don't think the real WAMP-X would act like a child.

19432
Well, at the very least, I think we can all agree on one thing:
The fandom is [tornado fang]'d.  8D
I personally don't agree with that.

19433
He's doing a little bit of roleplaying and actual fan-ness if that makes sense
Huh I really don't know how to feel about that, and I don't think I quite understand what the term fan-ness means. While he does have a point I think the fan outrage is probably the only way for Capcom can actually understand what the fans are thinking since everything else fans have been doing in the past years clearly didn't work.

I do understand that yeah some of it is quite harsh but Capcom kind of brought it on themselves with the lack of effort to try to patch things over with the fans or the fact that they really don't seem to know how to make a new idea work.  When I first heard about this game I thought it was possibly going to be another MMO RPG on iPhone the since it was advertised as a "Social RPG" but honestly other than the customization I don't see how it's a RPG.   It's also the fact that it's supposed to be the crossover that people have dreamed about but we're not seeing much of the crossover factor at all, I mean I love Tales of the World Radient mythology and this game doesn't even come close to that at all. It has about the same quality as a bad Newgrounds flash game and if I was in Capcom I'd be quite embarrassed for the fact that we are giving this to the consumer, 25th anniversary or otherwise, and really question my boss of why we are doing this.

And this guy is reacting to this solely because of a few comments and the YouTube dislike bar, I think the real WAMP-X wouldn't be such a drama king and would actually to try to redouble his efforts to prove himself worthy of the megaman name.  I mean for crying out loud he's a on the shelf model he has a lot to prove.  Speaking of which why would Light and Cossake make a on the shelf model, that in it self doesn't make sense to me.  And I don't like the fact that he looks exactly like X, it makes him look like a fancy prototype, but this is a tangent anyway.

The point is the fan outrage is quite harsh, but who wouldn't be mad about the fact that this game is supposed to be the game that is supposed to fill the hole of 2 or most likely 3 games.  I wish the fans would calm down and wait, that's what I'm doing but when a company doesn't try to listen to positive or negative views, if they ignore criticism and don't put the effort into improving future products if they want new fans but refuse to employ new ideas, how much is it the fans fault?  I don't think I'm entitled to a new game just yet, but I expect that a industry that is built on making people happy not to be reduced to only caring about them selves.  And the fact that it isn't just Megaman but a lot of other series that they're pissing off, just makes me wonder how blind that they became.

I know that Capcom is not the only one guilty of this, Nintendo, Sega, and Namco have been getting a lot of flack too, but at least they try to improve themselves as much as they can.

Haha, this is soooo lame.
Exactly how I feel about a dude who role plays outside of a role play.

19434
Uh I don't know much about tumbler but is the guy who made this role playing?

The only boss I had trouble with was Circus Man and Gregar Beast Megaman until I used Slashman.

I disagree. Reminding readers of what made MegaMan mega-awesome helps to show how awful this game really is and HOW SINGLE PLAYER GAMES CREATED MORE SOCIAL GAMING THAN THIS [tornado fang]ing FUR-ASCOT TURD FEST EVER [tornado fang]ing WILL!   O:<

.......OPPA ROCKMAN STYLE!  8D
Amen to that.

We also need a flash artist or group of cosplayers to get on that.

It looks like my suspicions were right, this was way worse than not having a game for the 25th anniversary.

At this point, what he really needs is an animated Gangnam Style video to get him some hilarious attention.

OPPA ROCKMAN STYLE?
Can we admire Protoman's ass and X or Trigger do the entire dance since they need some love?

Someone print me a t-shirt

I would wear that T-Shirt even though I'm 19.

Rockman Series / Re: [News] No New Game for 25th Anniversary (Probably)

I hope ProjectXzone doesn't get localized. Now hold on. Put the torches do- PUT THE TORCHES DOWN.

Heres the logic. ProjectXZone is a highly anticipated, popular, title. It has the same weight as Namco X Capcom had, and we all know where that lead; A fan translation.

What does the 3DS lack that the PS2 has? The ability to play patched/altered/homebrew games, via various methods.

ProjectXZone will drive the homebrew community to get their things together and create some method to play other region titles. They will want to fan tranlsate it so bad, just like Namco X Capcom, it will drive the whole event to fruition.

Now, the side effects to this are; Now we can play titles from other regions. We're already missing out on a ton of stuff for the 3DS that will never make it over here.

But it extends further than that. When an inevitable super rouge agent inside Capcom takes the completed Legends 3 prototype build and releases it to the deserving fans, we'll have an avenue to play it.

It's for the greater good!
The chances of that happening are roughly the equivalent of Tales of Rebith, Hearts, Innocence, and Destiny 2 getting another remake and those actually come out in America, The PS3 remake of Tales of Vesperia comes out in America, the rom hacking comunity translating Ketai Denjuu Telefang so that way we don't have to play the Chinese Bootlegs Pokemon Diamond and Pokemon Jade, Earthbound getting on the virtual console, Seiken Densetsu 3 getting a 3DS remake, somehow we get remakes of Final Fantasy 5 and 6 (though this I still hope happens one way or another), and God Eater Burst's squeal getting localized when it comes out because I don't think it did well enough in America due to the fact it was released the same time as Final Fantasy Duodecim and not to mention the problem with most games no advertisements and considering it plays a lot like Monster Hunter I think it would have benefited with advertising.

Does stripping Barbie dolls when I used to have them count?

Do you mean Marino's boobs are sake containers?
Actually I meant like Suika having about a dozen or so gourd fulls stored in the space like a fridge or something.

I don't ever double-post, but I just found the greatest.  Video.  Ever.
(click to show/hide)

Seriously.  You will never witness anything greater.
Man that is awesome and the fact that it was filmed in Little Tokyo and one of the members of the anime club at my college managed to witness part of it made it even more amazing.

Now here's the Saturday Night Live skit version, though unfortunately I couldn't find a Youtube version of it that wasn't shot with a camera or loud enough so here's some Hulu instead.
