Ed is the strong, dimwitted workhorse of the group and one of the main protagonists of the series. He wears a red-and-white striped shirt, a green jacket with two white stripes on each sleeve and purple-blue jeans. His skin is yellow, unlike the other characters and he is known to laugh a lot and is happy most of the time. He has very short red hair and has very poor personal hygiene. He is a fan of monster films and comic books, which he often confuses with reality. He also likes buttered toast, gravy, cereal (namely "Chunky Puffs"), pudding skin, chickens, and animals in general. Ed has amazing physical strength which is humorously worked into many of the show's plots.[3] His mind is a subculture grab bag full of comics and monster movies,[3] which he often confuses with reality and also having the habit of shouting random remarks which have almost nothing to do with the current conversations. Ed (to the misfortune of many people) is utterly at the mercy of his tyrannical younger sister, Sarah, for whom he cares deeply, and is an easy target of her manipulations. Much to the dismay of mysophobic Edd, he has very poor personal hygiene, even to the point of being terrified of soap and liking the smell of sweaty boots. He loves buttered toast, gravy, comics, a cereal called "Chunky Puffs", pudding skin, and animals, especially chickens.

Ed is kind and has a positive attitude towards almost everything and everyone, and is kind even to those who are not kind to him. He cares deeply for the other two Eds. He often sacrifices himself for his two best friends, the other cul-de-sac children, and even his younger sister Sarah, for whom he cares deeply, though she treats him very badly. He is very absent-minded and naive, making him the perfect candidate to help Eddy with his scams, as Ed hardly ever questions them. Even so, Ed never feels abused by Eddy.

He is a fan of monster films and comic books, which he often confuses with reality. He also likes buttered toast, gravy, cereal (namely "Chunky Puffs"), pudding skin, chickens, and animals in general. He has a very poor personal hygiene, to the point of being afraid of soap and liking the smell of sweaty boots. Though the Eds were outcasts throughout the series, in the series' TV movie finale Ed, Edd n Eddy's Big Picture Show, the three becomes friends with all the cul-de-sac children; Even Sarah starts treating Ed nicely.[4]

Creator Danny Antonucci explained Ed's inspiration saying, "Ed is...me, following his own path and slightly dysfunctional, a daydreamer who while people are doing one thing, will be busy thinking of another."[2] He also described Ed as "slow, living in his own world and he really doesn't fit in with the rest of the crowd,"[5] and explained that it was hard to decide who would voice him.[1] Ed ended up being voiced by Matt Hill.[1]

I remember it being worse but the first part of the 3rd paragraph is pretty much repeated.

.....Okay this is way more hilarious that the theory that Iris is human. 

 Seriously Burner Man is a just a gullible trusting dude who is super hard to beat because in Megaman and Bass they really stack the odds against Megaman and Bass surprisingly has a easier time.  Not to mention the entire game is like Megaman X6 to most people, very hard and cheap.

 Like Gonzo said since King believed that humans are bastards and wanted to use robots in war so it makes sense why he wouldn't reprogram a robot because that's what a evil human would do but he's not above using other despicable means since he was made by Wily.

Besides there are other robot masters with a almost fully human face, Megaman, Roll, Protoman, Quickman, Splash Woman, and many others.

As this is the first rendition of X3 Zero in the IHX style, I'm eager to see mandatory discussion on the design of Zero's helmet.

Also, perhaps something about him using the saber in his right hand while we're at it.

I liked the vocals a lot.  Although the whole "X is all over the cover/marketing but only gets two songs" thing does kinda bug me.
I believe our last discussion of Zero's helmet in IHX established that it was only the promo art where his helmet looked bad (well, that and his game model, but EVERY IHX character model looks like [parasitic bomb]).

And is it REALLY necessary to destroy what little dignity the Mega Man fanbase has left by bringing them down to Zelda-fanboy-mirror-rage levels?  Zero has been sabering with both hands since X4.

Please don't tell me we're seriously going to be arguing about Zero's helmet again right now.  

It's fan art, nothing is ever perfectly right when you draw something.  Not even the best artist can reproduce the same drawing he himself drew at the same perfect detail, there will be inconsistencies every time, so it's a bit much to expect someone else to produce the exact same result.  Hell Zero's helmet has been change at least 4 different times within the X series for god's sake.

As for Zero using a Saber in his right hand, not only is he a weapons master but he's also a robot so it really shouldn't be a surprise that he's ambidextrous.  Both X and Megaman have shown that they can produce a Buster in either hand so I really don't see why Zero can't use his right once in a while. And lets not forget the multiple Reploids that can dual wield with no problem.

This group has worked very hard on this piece and they've shown much more work and dedication than I or any of us could possibly reproduce at the moment. It's not perfect yes, but it's damn well more than what we or Capcom are doing right now.  

As much as I like a debate I do not want one here, please do not let the negatives rule everything right now.  I really don't want this thread to turn into another controlled rage fest between 2-3 people.  I understand why it happens, especially now, but I don't want every thread to be like this whenever anything relating to  Megaman is brought up in anyway shape or form official or otherwise I certainly don't remember or want to remember Megaman like that.

I'm not saying that a full blown argument was going to happen right now and I'm certainly not trying to blame anyone, but I will say that this sort of thing is getting real old and I'm quite simply tired of seeing this stuff in every single thread mentioning Megaman now.

I'm sorry if I jumped to conclusions once again.
