PB's eyes slowly opened as he began to wake up and the first thing he saw was Zeta's peacefully sleeping form. A small smile forms on his face as he was glad she seemed content after all the pain he caused her.
He himself felt his head was a little clearer and refreshed but he was far from being 100% okay. He still felt guilty about what happen and scared of what he did, but he at least was in a better state than he was the night before.
Shortly after he woke up Zeta began to stir and open her eyes as well. She looks at him with a smile on her face and he smiles back.
"Morning" She murmurs as she starts to sit up.
"Morning." He said back as he sat up as well.
When the 2 fully sat up they shared a small kiss and pulled away.
"I can't believe you hadn't kissed anyone like this before yesterday." PB smiled.
"Well I do see people kissing a lot and I tried to mimic it the best I could at first, then it just became more natural the more we did it." Zeta explained "God that explanation sounded so robotic didn't it."
"But it sounds so much like you." PB laughed "Either way you're getting better at that."
"Thank you." Zeta laughed as well before getting a little serious "So how are you feeling right now?"
"Well I feel a little less sore and my fever is gone." PB began "As for everything else it's still a mess but I at least feel calmer. What about you?"
"I feel pretty refreshed and relaxed, though I wish you felt the same way." Zeta said a bit regretfully.
"Hey don't worry about it, compared to last night I feel great, and knowing that I succeeded in helping you feel better was worth it. At least I did something right after all that." PB said as he put an arm around her.
"I told you not to be so hard on yourself." Zeta admonished gently "You don't have have to beat yourself up like this."
"I know I shouldn't but that's what happens when you doubt yourself." PB sighed "Speaking of which how does my FRESCA look now?
"I can't tell if the Doubt is smaller or not." Zeta reported "I honestly don't really have this FRESCA thing down just yet."
"Would you like me to teach you more about it sometime?" PB asked "It'll be pretty helpful later on."
"Sure, I admit I'm really curious about this phenomenon" Zeta replied "It seems very useful and it sure helped Saki out."
"It has." PB nodded "I still remember when I met Sakura and discovered her potential. I was really happy teaching her what I knew and seeing her grow, she's really been coming along and I'm proud of her."
"You really care about her." Zeta observed "She's probably going to see you today, do you think you can handle that?"
PB closed his eyes for a moment as he thought about it.
"I think I might be able to." PB said after a while "I can't hide from her forever and I have to see her sooner or later, and I would rather it be sooner.
I miss her so much and I really want to talk to her so I can apologize. I may not have fought against her like I did with you, but that doesn't mean I didn't cause her any less pain. If it weren't for her I wouldn't be here right now, and I want her to at least see I'm trying to get better. It's the least I can do for her right now."
"That's good to hear." Zeta sighed in relief "I was a little scared that you would let your fear of hurting her hurt her even more."
"I admit I still am scared of hurting her, of anyone except you, but I'm never going to get through this if this fear conquers me. I have to do this." PB said with determination.
"I'm so proud of you." Zeta hugged him.
"It's been a while since I heard someone say that to me, it's kinda nice." PB remarked as he hugged her back.
As they were hugging they heard PB's stomach rumbling.
"I just realize that I'm utterly starving." PB said sheepishly.
"And I forgot that you haven't eaten in days." Zeta said equally as sheepish "Why don't I get you some breakfast?"
"That sounds good, I could eat almost anything now." PB laughed
"At least you have you're appetite back." Zeta laughed "Will you be okay here by yourself?"
"I should be, I'll just be practicing my Bass while you're gone." PB replied.
"Okay I'll be right back." She said as she kissed PB's forehead "If you need me back here don't hesitate to let me know okay?"
"I won't." PB nodded.
Zeta walked over to the door and opened it when she notice Narancia standing in front of the exit.
"Rai, Rai!" He cried excitedly.
"Narancia what are you doing here?" She asked as she picked him up and started to pet him.
"I've never seen a Raichu that tiny before." PB remarked.
"You should have seen him when he was a Pika-whoa!" Zeta was interrupted as Pyre Heart ran into the room at breakneck speed.
"Whoa Pyre Heart!" PB said as Pyre Heart tackled him...despite not knowing Tackle.
"I wonder if there's anyone else out here." Zeta wondered as she looked out the door.
"Pyre Heart stop, it tickles!" PB laughed as he was tickled by Pyre Heart.
"Cyndaquil!" Pyre Heart cried as he continued to rub PB affectionately.
"You really missed me huh boy." PB said as he petted Pyre Heart.
"He's not the only one." Zeta remarks.
"Who else is..." PB stops in mid sentence as his answer enters the room
Sakura enters the room and looks at PB with a somewhat nervous expression.
"PB..." Sakura says as she begins to tear up a little.
Pyre Heat jumps out of his master's arms as PB stares at Sakura. He was still scared that he was going to hurt her but seeing her cry and wanting to comfort her overrode it.
He opens up his arms as he knows what's going to happen next.
"Come here." He says as Sakura comes running towards and collapses in his arms.
"PB...PB!" Sakura keeps sputtering as she cries into PB's chest.
"It's okay I'm not going anywhere." PB soothes while stroking Sakura's back to help calm her down and relax.
"I'll give you guys some privacy then." Zeta says as she looks at Narncia "Narancia why don't you stay here."
"Raichu." Narancia nodded.
"Good." Zeta says as she brings him closer and whispers something "If PB is starts losing it come and get me."
"Rai, Rai!" Narancia saluted quietly as she puts him down before she leaves the room.
As PB was busy comforting Sakura he felt a firm hand on his shoulder. He turns his head to see Asch but couldn't recognize him. Yin was by his side and sat at the foot of the bed.
"It's good to have you back." Asch smiled.
"...PBB!?" PB said in shock after realizing who he was "You look different!"
"Yeah there's a reason for that." Asch replied as he sat down on the bed across from him.
"He also changed his name." Sakura piped up while she lets go of PB and sits up next to PB. Her eyes are still red due her crying and her cold. Yin decided to sit on the bed next to her.
"Yeah my name is Asch now." Asch nodded.
"You changed you name too?" PB questioned with shock "I thought you liked PBB."
"I actually didn't." Asch sighed "It just left a really bad taste in my mouth."
"Why's that?" PB asked concerned
"Well it's because it reminded me that my original purpose is unobtainable, that I'm not you, I'm different." Asch began "It makes me feel that I'm stuck in your shadow and I don't want that, I want to learn how to be myself not how to be a failed version of you."
"Why didn't you say anything about this sooner?" PB questioned trying to digest what he heard.
"Well it was a combination of you being caught up in the party after the Wily Star II was destroyed and the fact that Wily II tried to reprogram me remotely." Asch explained "I just plain wasn't able to communicate that to you properly and all hell broke loose."
"Did you get fixed up?" PB changed the subject briefly.
"Yeah I'm fine, Sakura took care of the problem and I really owe her for it." Asch smiled.
"Asch please you don't owe me anything." Sakura blushed "You've already done so much for me already."
"No I haven't. I haven't even begun to repay you for everything you've done." Asch disagreed.
"But you don't have to..." Sakura was interrupted by PB who raised a hand to stop the conversation.
"Guys, guys that's enough, you're going around in circles." PB said bluntly.
"Sorry." Both Asch and Sakura apologized.
"No no it's fine, I'm surprised you got so close in just a few days." PB chuckled. "Then again it was the same when we and Sakura first met."
"Really?" Asch asked.
"Yeah, although Sakura doesn't make a lot of friends the ones she does make are very close to her." PB nodded "Anyway I'm sorry I made you feel that way."
"It's fine." Asch dismissed "I should have told you up front in the first place."
"While that is true I should have paid more attention to that." PB replied "I just assumed that you would like it without actually asking."
"Fair enough, but was it because I was supposed to be a robotic version of you that you decided to give me that name?" Asch asked.
"Well that's part of the reason, another is because of my huge Ego I kinda think people related to the same person should have similar names." PB stated "In fact I usually come up with the names of Fexni's vehicles."
"I guess that kinda makes sense." Asch nodded.
"Another reason was that I kinda think of you as a little brother, much like how I think of PBPB as a sister despite the fact that she is my clone." PB continued.
"Really, but you don't know me. Hell I was created to pretty much destroy this place, I could have easily just lie to you and stab you in the back!" Asch protested.
"All you said is completely correct, but there are a few reasons that I didn't think that way.
The first is I would rather trust someone first before distrusting them, if it was the other way around I might as well not have friends. Second if you were crazy enough to actually try that and betray us I was confident enough that we could have taken you down easily." PB explained.
"I guess that makes some sense." Asch muttered.
"The third reason is that right away I noticed you were very genuine when you said that you wanted to help us, the fact that you're still wearing those hand cuffs underneath your clothes is proof of that." PB observed.
"Well I don't want Old Bathair to just teleport me away to manually reprogram me." Asch shuddered "I really wouldn't put it past him."
"Understandable." PB nodded "The last reason was that you seem to actually think of what you want to do rather than following what Wily wants you to do.
The employees of the ISS were robots created by Wily II, and we treated each other as really good friends. But when Wily II initiated the war all of them turned on me just because they're programed to follow him, despite the fact that I treated them very well.
I don't get that from you, you saw that what he program you to do was impossible and didn't try to struggle with it. You're different from they others and that made me want to trust you, especially now with what you did for Sakura here. I can't thank you enough for that."
Asch took a minute to digest everything he heard before he spoke again.
"PB?" Asch began "Would it be okay if you continue to call me PBB?"
"You don't mind that?" PB asked.
"Well after all that I feel like it wouldn't be so bad anymore." Asch explained "Besides it seems that people calling each other crazy nicknames seems to be completely normal here."
"That's really true, I really love to name things, especially my Pokemon here." PB smiled "But if you don't mind I'll keep calling you PBB."
"I'm happy with that." Asch smiled.
"I'm glad you two were able to come to an understanding." Sakura said as she coughed a bit.
"Oh you're still sick aren't you Sakura." PB noticed "I was wondering why you weren't talking too much, are you okay?"
"I'm fine it's just a cold." Sakura sniffed,
"Still you should get plenty of rest." PB recommended.
"Is it okay if I stay here though?" Sakura asked.
"Of course you can, I know you really missed me." PB said as he put a arm around her.
"I really did." Sakura nodded "I wanted to make sure you were okay."
"Well my body is healing up just fine." PB frowned "However I'm going to need more time before I can get back out there."
"What do you mean?" Sakura asked as she couldn't believe what she was hearing. Pyre Heart did a double take as well and Asch's eyes widened a little.
"I'm glad you weren't here last night Sakura." PB began "I'm glad you didn't see how I acted, I was just so messed up. I don't even want to think how I would be right now if Zeta didn't [sonic slicer] slap me and snapped me mostly out of it."
"Yeah that incident must have been pretty traumatic to you. You had some horrible nightmares." Asch shuddered
"You saw me have nightmares too?" PB asked.
"Me, Zeta, Borock-bot, Sakura, and a couple of Berbils saw them." Asch nodded.
"Asch stayed by your side to try to calm you down when you started having those episodes." Sakura explained.
"I really thank you for that." PB said grateful
"No problem, I just wanted to help." Asch replied.
"That's exactly what Zeta told me." PB said softly.
"Is that why you and Zeta were sleeping together?" Sakura said suddenly.
"....How did you find that out?" PB asked.
"We came here about 2 hours ago and were wondering where Zeta was. Sakura was crazy enough to see if you two we're sleeping together." Asch explained.
"Sorry." Sakura sighed.
"It's fine, I understand." PB laughed "I don't blame you for being curious. Are you mad at me for sleeping with a friend of yours?"
"No, you do that all the time." Sakura shook her head "Besides you must of had a reason to do it, and both of you were wearing clothes."
"Yeah there was a good reason." PB sighed "I caused her so much stress because..."
"You didn't want her to help you?" Sakura guessed.
PB's eyes widen at what Sakura just said.
"You pretended you were fine but she didn't believe you and slapped you right?" Sakura continued.
"Well she did believe me at first, but I didn't count on her being able to see FRESCA." PB admitted "You know me too well."
"I'm familiar with your thought process at least." Sakura nodded "I honestly would have done the same thing, or rather I already did that. If I was there last night I would have punched you, hard."
"Even though he was sick!?" Asch asked incredulously
"It's fine because the PB I know wouldn't mind that at all. No matter how many times you knock him down he only comes back stronger. That's just how he is." Sakura said confidently
PB took in everything she said and smiled slightly.
"Heh I guess this is the part where the student starts teaching the master." PB chuckled "I still have a lot to learn."
"We all do." Sakura smiled.
"I learned that Sakura still scares the [parasitic bomb] out of me." Asch nodded.
"Ah don't worry she rarely gets mad." PB laughed. "In fact she usually only gets mad at me."
"But everyone gets mad at you." Sakura laughed.
"That's true." PB said sheepishly
All three of them laughed as Zeta came back into the room. When she saw them she smiled.
"That's good he's actually starting to recover." Zeta thought to her self "He still has a long way to go but he's getting there."
"Zeta you're back." PB greeted as Pyre Heart went to sit on PB's lap "That was fast."
"Only because BB here anticipated that everyone was going to be hungry right about now." Zeta said as Borock-bot walked into the room. Zet was also behind him and jumped on the bed Asch was on next to Narancia.
"Greetings everyone." Borock-bot greeted. He was wearing his usual black shirt and grey pants. He started to push the cart in between them.
"We took a bit longer to get food for the Pokemon. It's been a while since I've seen Yin after all, I kinda forgot what she likes." Zeta smiled as she got a bowl full of Tamato and Spelon berries.
"Absol!" Yin cried as he mouth watered and jumped off the bed.
"Boy you seem hungry there." Zeta laughed as she put the bowl down in front of her.
"She was forced to eat a Pamtre berry because she lost a bet." Sakura explained.
"What kind of bet was it?" Zeta raised an eyebrow.
"Whether PB was sleeping with someone or not." Asch said a little embarrassed.
"Oh." Zeta blushed.
"Why don't you sit down Zeta." PB changed the subject and gestured to the spot next to him.
"Right." Zeta said quickly and sat next to him.
"It's good to see that you're feeling better Mr. PB." Borock-bot said as he finished pushing the cart.
"It's good to feel better, though I'm still a long way to a full recovery." PB smiled sadly.
"Yes I realized that, which is why I took the liberty of writing a report of what transpired while you were gone." Borock-said as he gave PB a stack of stapled papers.
"Wow that's a huge report!" Asch's eyes widened
"Well it also includes the profiles of new members of the Resistance." Borock-bot explained.
"Ah thanks dude, I'll get to reading it right away." PB said as he opened the first page before Zeta stopped him.
"Maybe you should wait until after breakfast." Zeta said nervously.
"Yeah weird stuff happened while you were gone." Sakura said equally as nervous.
"Very weird stuff." Asch agreed.
"Okay I'll take your word for it." PB said as he put the report away "Now let's eat some real food."
"Right." Everyone said as they started eating.
(There was supposed to be a deleted scene with Pyre Heart but I scrapped it due to way too much dialog in this part. Also put in Borock-bot's default outfit because I never did.)

Asch took a minute to digest everything he heard before he spoke again.
"PB?" Asch began "Would it be okay if you continue to call me PBB?"
"You don't mind that?" PB asked.
"Well after all that I feel like it wouldn't be so bad anymore." Asch explained "Besides it seems that people calling each other crazy nicknames seems to be completely normal here."
"That's really true, I really love to name things, especially my Pokemon here." PB smiled "But if you don't mind I'll keep calling you PBB."
"I'm happy with that." Asch smiled.
"I'm glad you two were able to come to an understanding." Sakura said as she coughed a bit.
"Oh you're still sick aren't you Sakura." PB noticed "I was wondering why you weren't talking too much, are you okay?"
"I'm fine it's just a cold." Sakura sniffed,
"Still you should get plenty of rest." PB recommended.
"Is it okay if I stay here though?" Sakura asked.
"Of course you can, I know you really missed me." PB said as he put a arm around her.
"I really did." Sakura nodded "I wanted to make sure you were okay."
"Well my body is healing up just fine." PB frowned "However I'm going to need more time before I can get back out there."
"What do you mean?" Sakura asked as she couldn't believe what she was hearing. Pyre Heart did a double take as well and Asch's eyes widened a little.
"I'm glad you weren't here last night Sakura." PB began "I'm glad you didn't see how I acted, I was just so messed up. I don't even want to think how I would be right now if Zeta didn't [sonic slicer] slap me and snapped me mostly out of it."
"Yeah that incident must have been pretty traumatic to you. You had some horrible nightmares." Asch shuddered
"You saw me have nightmares too?" PB asked.
"Me, Zeta, Borock-bot, Sakura, and a couple of Berbils saw them." Asch nodded.
"Asch stayed by your side to try to calm you down when you started having those episodes." Sakura explained.
"I really thank you for that." PB said grateful
"No problem, I just wanted to help." Asch replied.
"That's exactly what Zeta told me." PB said softly.
"Is that why you and Zeta were sleeping together?" Sakura said suddenly.
"....How did you find that out?" PB asked.
"We came here about 2 hours ago and were wondering where Zeta was. Sakura was crazy enough to see if you two we're sleeping together." Asch explained.
"Sorry." Sakura sighed.
"It's fine, I understand." PB laughed "I don't blame you for being curious. Are you mad at me for sleeping with a friend of yours?"
"No, you do that all the time." Sakura shook her head "Besides you must of had a reason to do it, and both of you were wearing clothes."
"Yeah there was a good reason." PB sighed "I caused her so much stress because..."
"You didn't want her to help you?" Sakura guessed.
PB's eyes widen at what Sakura just said.
"You pretended you were fine but she didn't believe you and slapped you right?" Sakura continued.
"Well she did believe me at first, but I didn't count on her being able to see FRESCA." PB admitted "You know me too well."
"I'm familiar with your thought process at least." Sakura nodded "I honestly would have done the same thing, or rather I already did that. If I was there last night I would have punched you, hard."
"Even though he was sick!?" Asch asked incredulously
"It's fine because the PB I know wouldn't mind that at all. No matter how many times you knock him down he only comes back stronger. That's just how he is." Sakura said confidently
PB took in everything she said and smiled slightly.
"Heh I guess this is the part where the student starts teaching the master." PB chuckled "I still have a lot to learn."
"We all do." Sakura smiled.
"I learned that Sakura still scares the [parasitic bomb] out of me." Asch nodded.
"Ah don't worry she rarely gets mad." PB laughed. "In fact she usually only gets mad at me."
"But everyone gets mad at you." Sakura laughed.
"That's true." PB said sheepishly
All three of them laughed as Zeta came back into the room. When she saw them she smiled.
"That's good he's actually starting to recover." Zeta thought to her self "He still has a long way to go but he's getting there."
"Zeta you're back." PB greeted as Pyre Heart went to sit on PB's lap "That was fast."
"Only because BB here anticipated that everyone was going to be hungry right about now." Zeta said as Borock-bot walked into the room. Zet was also behind him and jumped on the bed Asch was on next to Narancia.
"Greetings everyone." Borock-bot greeted. He was wearing his usual black shirt and grey pants. He started to push the cart in between them.
"We took a bit longer to get food for the Pokemon. It's been a while since I've seen Yin after all, I kinda forgot what she likes." Zeta smiled as she got a bowl full of Tamato and Spelon berries.
"Absol!" Yin cried as he mouth watered and jumped off the bed.
"Boy you seem hungry there." Zeta laughed as she put the bowl down in front of her.
"She was forced to eat a Pamtre berry because she lost a bet." Sakura explained.
"What kind of bet was it?" Zeta raised an eyebrow.
"Whether PB was sleeping with someone or not." Asch said a little embarrassed.
"Oh." Zeta blushed.
"Why don't you sit down Zeta." PB changed the subject and gestured to the spot next to him.
"Right." Zeta said quickly and sat next to him.
"It's good to see that you're feeling better Mr. PB." Borock-bot said as he finished pushing the cart.
"It's good to feel better, though I'm still a long way to a full recovery." PB smiled sadly.
"Yes I realized that, which is why I took the liberty of writing a report of what transpired while you were gone." Borock-said as he gave PB a stack of stapled papers.
"Wow that's a huge report!" Asch's eyes widened
"Well it also includes the profiles of new members of the Resistance." Borock-bot explained.
"Ah thanks dude, I'll get to reading it right away." PB said as he opened the first page before Zeta stopped him.
"Maybe you should wait until after breakfast." Zeta said nervously.
"Yeah weird stuff happened while you were gone." Sakura said equally as nervous.
"Very weird stuff." Asch agreed.
"Okay I'll take your word for it." PB said as he put the report away "Now let's eat some real food."
"Right." Everyone said as they started eating.
(There was supposed to be a deleted scene with Pyre Heart but I scrapped it due to way too much dialog in this part. Also put in Borock-bot's default outfit because I never did.)
