(Somehow this part came out really fast.)
"I can't believe all that happened in such a short time." PB said as he finished the report.
"Yeah it was just really hectic, and I still have no idea where that fox boy came from." Asch sighed
"I'm still stuck on the fact that the engine blew up while I was gone!" PB said surprised.
"Or the fact that Thron or Tron dude opened all the windows while we went to to get the part to fix it." Zeta sighed "I'm glad no one was hurt."
"I just couldn't believe Kharaxel had that evil split personality all this time, though I thought his FRESCA looked odd." PB pondered.
"Why didn't you say anything earlier?" Sakura asked.
"You know me young one, I didn't think of him as a major threat at the time and if it did surface I probably could have handled it." PB explained.
"I guess that makes sense, he didn't seemed to be as powerful as he claimed he was." Sakura nodded "He seemed to be limited because he didn't have his real body."
"I'm still confused about that, what the hell is this Thron or Tron person supposed to be?" Asch asked. "Just trying to think about it makes my head hurt."
"We'll have to wait until we see Drunkgun to get an explanation of what the hell is going on." Zeta sighed.
"Hey Zeta that reminds me, do you know Mr. Wildgun?" Sakura asked.
"Kinda, he was one of my regular customers." Zeta nodded "The dude even showed up when I was working in the Southern Branch."
"Why the Southern Branch of all places?" Sakura questioned
"The dude's an archeologist." Zeta explained "When I met him he was looking around the former Sparkvanian territory. After I transferred to the Eastern Branch he started looking around the east."
"And then he decided one day to give you the Ace of Clubs?" Sakura prodded
"Yeah he just gave me the thing and told me to find the King of Hearts." Zeta nodded.
"Can someone explain those crest things again?" PB asked
"They're supposed to be the key to stop destruction or something." Asch explained. "Sakura has to find who has the crests and have them passed down or something, but that Hitomi chick didn't really give enough information about it."
"Yeah that sounds like Hitomi alright." PB laughed.
"All we know is that Sky Child has the Queen of Spades but we have no idea where she is." Sakura sighed.
"Wait Skyla has the Queen of Spades?" Zeta raised an eyebrow "That's not right."
"Wait a minute Zeta you know who does?" Sakura asked.
"Guess I let it slip." Zeta sighed "I don't just know who has the Queen of Spades I know who holds the other crests too."
"How do you know that?" PB asked.
"It's kinda a long story." Zeta shrugged
"Is it related to your past?" PB asked.
"Sorta." Zeta nodded
"Okay I'll ask about it again when you're ready." Said PB
"Aren't you bothered by this?" Zeta asked
"Not really I mean you said you normally don't mind talking about it so someone here must know, right." PB questioned
"Right." Sakura nodded.
"So I don't need to worry about it right now." PB nodded "I trust you Zeta."
"Thanks..." Zeta said surprised
"Why did Hitomi lie about that anyway?" Asch asked. "Wouldn't that send us on a wild goose chase?"
"Hitomi can sometimes lie to people for her own amusement." Borock-bot explained.
"Somehow that doesn't surprise me." Asch face palmed
"So can tell us who has them, Zeta?" PB asked.
"I can tell Saki but I can't tell anyone else." Zeta replied.
"Why not?" Asch questioned.
"Well 2 of the members already chose who they want to give it to but they don't want to do it yet. They have to prove that they're worthy of the crest or something, as for the last one I haven't seen them in a long time and I haven't had contact with them. You're guess on where they are are as good as mine." Zeta explained
"Wildgun knows about this power and that Maiden person mentioned that Mr. PB can get this power as well. Do you think that and the crests are connected?" Borock-bot inquired.
"I wouldn't know, although I know who holds the crests I don't know who they're going to give it to." Zeta replied "But I wouldn't be surprised if PB was one of them."
"Either way we can't worry about that until PB and Sakura fully recover." Asch sighed. "And PB has a long way to go."
"Yeah I really do." PB said looking down.
"Don't worry about it PB, just take your time." Zeta said as she put a hand on his shoulder.
"I know I should, but it's frustrating sitting around at a time I needed most." PB sighed.
"We know it is PB, but you need to do it for your sake." Sakura coughed.
"You guys are both right." PB admitted "But I have to make a serious decision now."
"What's that?" Zeta asked.
"Well I've come to realize that I made some crappy choice over the past few days, the party, the Met army, even last night could have been handled much better." PB began.
"Don't think like that PB, you can't change the past." Zeta reprimanded
"I know I can't but I don't want to make another decision that's going to blow up in your guy's faces like that." PB shook his head "All those decisions were made because of my Ego not my brain. My Ego blinded me of the possible consequences of my actions and now we're here. I'm messed up and Sakura is sick because of me."
"PB please that's not your fault." Sakura coughed again.
"Maybe not directly young one." PB said as he put an arm around her "But the stress caused by my absence must have shot your immune system straight to hell."
"So what exactly are you going to do?" Asch asked curiously
"Well PBB I've come to the conclusion that I need to learn to control my Ego." PB decided "I can't believe I'm saying this, but my Ego is much too big and I need to either learn to control it or make it smaller to the point that I can control it." PB declared.
Sakura and Yin couldn't believe what they were hearing but Pyre Heart was the most shocked by what he just heard.
"Cynda...CYNDAQUIL!" Pyre Heart cried loudly before stiffening and tumbling to the ground on his back.
His scarf came undone and his sunglasses fell off making him look like an ordinary Cyndaquil. Narancia jumped down from where he was sitting poking Pyre Heart with his stubby little paws while Yin face pawed and muttered something about him being over dramatic.
Everyone else just stared at Pyre Heart's unconscious body.
"Sakura?" PB said after a while.
"Yes?" Sakura answered still looking at Pyre Heart.
"What did he say before he fainted?" PB asked.
"He said something about it being the end of the world." Sakura replied.
"That sounds about right." PB nodded.
"Guess PB saying his Ego is too big is super effective on him." Zeta stated dryly.
"It may have even been a critical hit." Borock-bot agreed.
"So is there anyway that we can wake him up?" Asch asked.
"Well if we had something Sour with us that would probably work." PB replied.
At hearing the word Sour Narancia rustled through his sack and pulled out a Belue berry.
"Rai?" Narancia asked.
"That should work." PB nodded "Yin you mind slicing this open?"
"Absol." Yin smirked as she sliced the Sour berry open with her claws.
The smell was enough to make Pyre Heart's nose twitch and eventually made him cover his nose as he regained consciousness.
"Why are his eyes still closed?" Asch wondered.
"All Cyndaquil are like that." Borock-bot explained.
"Okay then." Asch understood.
Pyre Heart eventually started doing a little panicked dance as Yin laughed at his antics.
"It's okay Pyre Heart." PB said as he picked him up and sat him down on his lap again. Zeta decided to get a plastic baggie from on of the cupboards and put the Belue berry in it.
"I can probably give this to Celty later." Zeta commented
With the smell mostly gone Pyre Heart breathed as much fresh air as he could as he recovered.
"Cynda!" Pyre Heart cried angrily and flames shot out his back briefly.
"Whoa what the hell?" Asch shouted
"That's Pyre Heart's ability as a fire type." Borock-bot explained
"Okay...." Asch said nervously still shocked at what he saw.
"I'm sorry Pyre Heart." PB said as he started to pet Pyre Heart's back which still felt warm from earlier.
Pyre Heart eventually calmed down as PB kept petting him gently.
"Cyndaquil?" Pyre Heart asked after a while.
"Yeah I'm serious about my decision Pyre Heart, I don't want to be blinded by my Ego like that and hurting everyone because of it ever again." PB nodded.
Pyre Heart thought about what his master said before rubbing at him in forgiveness.
"Thanks Pyre Heart." PB smiled as he continued to pet him.
"So do you have any idea of how to tackle task?" Zeta asked.
"I really don't I never even thought of doing something like this before." PB sighed.
"Well whatever you decide we'll all back you up." Sakura said with determination.
"Definitely." Asch nodded.
"Thanks you guys." PB smiled.
(I think I'm going to wait until Kharaxel gets back to the ship before I continue and start working on the flashbacks again. I mostly made this to retcon Sky Child having the Queen of Spades, explain odd connections, explain PB's plan of action, and put in that gag with Pyre Heart.)
