Some people do do Nuzlockes without items, or the reverse where they have to use items and no Pokemon Centers.  The latter's probably done in gen 3 and 4 so you can grow Leppa berries.

Well if it makes you feel better they're only for in battle and not permanent like forms always are....Though I still think they were watching way too much Digimon.  Also it seems MegaAmpharos is Electric/Dragon?   Well it still looks more Dragonish than Altaria.

Yeah you got me there, it makes that Megaman, Bass, and Roll suddenly died or disappeared or something.  Protoman seems somewhat logical if his core is still messed up but yeah you have a point.

If that event Torchic is anything to go by those things evolve using specific items so yeah Dream World stuff not necessary.  Also Munna and Musharna so far aren't in the Kalos Pokedex so for now it supports my theory since you need Dream Smoke to access that anyway.
