Sure, if we assume that the explosion that consumed Cain's domicile only raised the interior temperature to a comfy 74 degrees F.  At the very least, Sigma consciously attempted to kill his creator.

Do we have to bring up the issue on the Missiles explosion and the craters again?

Plus the fact that it would be a massive retcon?

BN Zero looks cool. he doesnt have nearly enough screen time to develop a personality, but in the Anime, he has very little of it anyway. being a very monotone speaker, with an unwavering voice. He is originally just an obedient soldier till he betrays his creator.

His heart is later (or before?) moved by Gutsman caring for him, when he mistakes Zero for a bystander that didnt escape quickly enough. He shows his usual self sacrificing personality in the anime as well, jumping in front of Megaman to block him from Zero One's Attack, and when Zero One is set to self destruct, Zero teleports him to the real world, and flies into his creator's ship, causing it to explode.

I can't comment on Transmission Zero, But there is similar. He was just a virus, but evolved, developing a soul, so he became pretty much like any other navi, with the exception that he is a virus. But he seems to be accepting of his fate when defeated. He also says "Youve come to defeat- Bust me, right?" (or something along those lines)

It works just fine for me. Doesnt seem to have any of the issues people seem to complain about recently.

They took a page from the manga, and had them repaired and their programming restored. MHX isnt the only game it seems, that has drawn some inspiration from the mangas. Ariga has the RM's back with Light after the Megaman 1 story.
I guess they used that and included it into the game.

BTW why does everyone think that Zero died in X3? He clearly said he is damaged in a way that he must be repaired and returned to the base....no indication of death so stop about this apparent X3 death!

He used to be able to break a ride armor with a mid charged shot.
and kill anyone with two hits from his almighty saber. He destroyed a hunter unit using ONLY HIS HANDS.

But I digress, I was joking. Of course he's cool. theres always something. X7 he wasnt that cool- X8, he looked terrible, but had awesaome weapons. Seriously, seeing Zero do street fighter moves with the K Knuckle was awesome.
Model Z was cool too. If only because of Model Z Giro's awesome entrance.

Its very possible, what do you think? I was playing, and noticed that there is Red's face all over the ship in ZXA. Is it possible, that whatever was left of Red Alert, after X7, eventually became the Raiders? I mean, we all thought Repliforce was annihalated in X4 and after 5, and yet they survived long enough that their ships still existed in Neo Arcadia.

Discuss?.

It would have been a very different Zero series.
Not the one we know, thats for sure.

Also, its not a retcon. The moment they turned X into Copy X, they left open the question of what happened to X, and why was he the way he was. Z2 answered why... but left an even bigger why. Z3, showed the reason X had to seal Dark Elf away in the first place.

It is expanding the canon, not retconning.

plus like I said, without weil, there would be no 2nd Zero sealing, no Elf Wars, and thus, no Copy-X, X would still be alive and well, and Neo Arcadia quite possibly WOULD be a paradise for both Humans AND Reploids.
without that Zero series, there would be no ZX series either. There would be no Model-W, and no Ciel 6, since they never would have died to begin with. and heck, without ZX, even Legends might not exist. Who knows.

Personally I consider MegaMissions' canonical status to be comparable to the manga; it is a valuable source of insight but not literally applicable to game canon (the difference being MegaMissions is telling a more original story).

Hasn't Megamissions been explicitly stated to be semi canon by Capcom? it fits in between X2 and 3. I forgot, but I think there was somewhere that said it was semi canon...

They would have to keep that in mind making games after that. since there is no mention or anything to suggest something "bad" happens to Axl, (nothing majorly bad anyway) they have to work with the story as to not mess that up. However, that does not mean that nothing can happen. Lumine smashes Axl's crystal, and seems to leave something there. and then, somehow, in Command mission some years later, He has an almost fully evolved copy ability, being able to copy an enemy of any size, only limited still to having to colect the DNA before he can use it.
HMMM.

Which isnt to say that nothing MIGHT happen to him AFTER Command Mission... I mean, his absence in the Zero series has to be explained somehow, regardless of the actual Inti reason he wasnt in.

Phantom was the only one explicitly not made for earth restoration. He was from the start, designed as X's bodyguard. The phantom in his shadow.
