while I have to agree I dont like the Fusion suit all too much, Its not THAT bad, its just different since were used to having Bulky armor on Samus. Although I agree I dont really like it too much.

And for the sake of argument- If Red and Axl were one split in two or any of that... Who's to say that one WOULDNT go Iris at the other's death? Axl and Red were pretty close.

Offing Colonel had nothing to do with Iris. Your thinking Middy and Techno. Who both shared a CPU, and thus both died when the other did.
What happened, Iris went nuts out of grief that her brother had been killed by her lover is what happened. Not that her brain malfunctioned because of Colonel's death.

Yes, but Sigma was pretty much following Wily like a dog on this one, out of his intense curiosity and amusement at how obsessed this guy was with Zero, and of his claims that Zero, given enough viral exposure, could be "purified" into his real self. I think only Wily, knowing his baby best, would know enough specifics to create a virus that upon interacting with Sigma's, could create a NEW virus that was not only BASED on Zero, but was powerful enough that in the alternate scenario, it was actually able to awaken him if the shuttle mission went bad.

Sigma himself is apparently smart enough to create reploids, (Dark Necrobat/Dizzy) But I dont think he's THAT smart enough to do THAT.

Im pretty sure Wily, the mysterious friend of Sigma's in X5, made the Colony virus.
And, like Zan said, specifically so that it would interact with the Sigma Virus to make the Zero Virus.

I still want a game after Fusion. After all, Samus just blew a federation conspiracy and space station sky high, with the help of a military mind which knows many secrets of the federation, They arent going to be exactly happy with her. Actually, they are most likely going to try to kill her.

If im right, canonically, that was his strongest body ever. He pooled all of his virus into raw power to defeat X and Zero. Which is why he died when he was defeated instead of surviving through the virus. nope, this time he died. just like in X5.
