Suddenly, walls closed in all around them, and the floor opened up, revealing a chute. They all fell through it, being separated as they went. Novacard into a large demonic steel cubicle, Mirby into one of the many dark (unlit) dungeon cells, and Bluebeard absorbed into a ghost proof glowing cage suspended over a small drop. (although he wouldnt know that from just looking, as its misty)

They entered after passing through a  small corridor,  what seemed like a gigantic dungeon. the music changed, and they could see some sort of sign that said "Endless dungeon."

Posted on: May 12, 2010, 11:02:13 PMThe dungeon was lit by small blue torches on the walls, giving the already stone walls a blue hue. they were standing on a large ledge overlooking a long drop. lining the walls were dungeon cells. endless  dungeon indeed. the walls went on as far as the eye could see. there were water drips here and there as well. sections had miniature waterfalls. It was filled with Mermen, Medusa heads, and Zombie pirates.

Rayman should have stayed the same way that 1 was. 2 was fun, but NOWHERE near as charming as the trippy colorful world of 1. 3 seemed to catch a bit of the charm of 1 juuuust a little, but stiill didnt quite have it.
Interesting to know Rayman 2 was almost 2D sidescrolling like 1.

Afro clutched his head. Him and Flame had gotten separated from Dan, the three being the only remaining members of the party.
"Ugh! Heh. The Darkness within me is growing, Flame. Do you really think we can prevent it?"

Flame looked at Afro, concerned.
"... I really dont know. Though we can sure as hell try."

Flame tried once again to contact Dan.
Afro sat back on a wall
"why bother? it wouldn't be so bad, would it? I mean, come on! The power... Imagine the power! That and immortality. Sounds promising, don't it?

Flame punched the wall so hard it cracked.
"Damn! Communications are jammed..."
He looked back at Afro.
"Listen to you... Immortality? I have pseudo immortality since I do not age, and killing me is pretty hard to do, and let me tell you from experience, its not all it's cracked up to be. Only those with short lives can enjoy it fullest. Otherwise there will only be emptiness and misery."

Flame walked back and forth. both the doors in the short corridor had been sealed off by walls, and the only light came from the moon visible from a single window.

Flame looked out the window, wondering if perhaps he could manage something with his grapple hook.

"Whatever. Lets just... Try and get back to Dan. He's probably worried bout our sorry asses."

Afro was no doubt struggling with his newfound darkness.

Flame was interrupted by the skeleton butler.

"Ugh, That guy. Such a slacker.. Dan you say..? HE is the intruder...? Interesting..."

Flame walked off into the depths of the castle, his boots and their slight platform making loud noise on the floor, along with the sound of his cane.

he reached the throne room again.

"Afro... Do you know who our mysterious intruder is? Not the ghost and the girl... but the other one... It's Dan... Yes. thats right."

Paranoia shrieked a horrible scream as his mirror shattered, effectively killing him. a passage appeared from behind the broken grand mirror, revealing Bluebeard on the other side, walking through a corridor.
"Bluebeard!" exclaimed Mirby.
The armored ghost looked at her and smiled. "Oh hey! there you were!"

Meanwhile, Bluebeard was walking down a looong flight of stairs. at the end, he entered a door, which led him though a small corridor, and into a new area which seemed like an underground cavern system.
He thought to himself, that it might possibly connect to a dungeon or something similar. when around a coner, he bumped into Mirby. they both screamed in surprise at first, but then they recognized each other and continued on their way down the caverns...

(Both of you have now met the doppelgangers btw)

Paranoia cackled maniacally before re entering the mirror.  around Mirby appeared various floating hand mirrors. Paranoia cackled again, and a hand stuck out of one, shooting a laser beam that reflected off of all the other mirrors

while they were walking, a wall suddenly and quietly separated Bluebeard and Mirby. Mirby who was at the front, did not notice the wall close in behind her, and Bluebeard, who had gone to peek into a room with an open door, did not notice either. when he exited, (now housing within his rag tag armor a health potion) he saw that Mirby was nowhere to be found. With the mazelike structure of even the guest house, he wondered how he ever got himself separated.

Elsewhere, the messenger bat Afrula sent had finally found it's way to Flame's quarters, and rested on a chandelier as it relayed Afrula's message to Flame.

Flame was sitting in the shadows in his own quarters, when the skeleton butler from before reappeared.
"I see. Yes. They got lucky I suppose. Hmm. I wonder."

He turned to the skeleton.
"I have an Idea... Make sure that the two are separated. Cut off from each other. Then, send the Doppelgangers after them. Yes, the shape shifting copycat demon. Perhaps make them think they have met back up and then back stab the two. They copy right down to he funny bone, so there should be no problems there"

Once again, he nodded and sank into the floor.

(If you didnt get what im trying to do- im separating you two, then sending a Mirby doppelganger after Bluebeard, and a Bluebeard Doppelganger after Mirby)

Bluebeard, not having heeded Mirby's warning to attack the axe, had the attack wasted. it went right throught the ghost, and it retaliated by swinging at Bluebeard.

(lol, sorry.) The axe spirit continued to attack them, dissappearing... reappearing... the attacks to it's weapon seemed to damage the spirit, and it became even more aggressive.

The armor collapsed down to the ground and exploded.
However, up from its remains, was born an Allastor, a dark spirit wielding the Armor's broken Axe. Attacks went right through the spectral figure, as if it wasnt there. It began to swing wildly, dissappearing from sight once it did so, only to appear again from some other direction.

BOX MAN



Box Man

Box Man was built and designed as a Training Robot for a Boxing gym. He was a very popular sparring partner among the boxing crowd, and even entered in various Robot boxing tournaments. He won and retained the world title in robot boxing, never loosing a fight. Wily obviously caught wind of him, and invited him to help train a few of his robots. Box Man unaware Wily was involved, went to the specified location and fought with the Robots Wily then had, beating pretty much all of them without contest. Wily then decided that Box man would be a very good addition to his forces, and was able to subdue him with the help of the recently stolen Overboost Man. He was reprogrammed, and became part of Wily's robot forces.


Hmm. An undefeated robot with experience in fighting, huh? Hmm... Well how exactly did Wily subdue him? it would take INCREDIBLY heightened stamina, strength, and agility to take him down...

Personality: Think Dudley from Street Fighter.

Weapon gained: Boxer strike (basically like Hard knuckle, but close range only)

I was actually specifically referring to you overly voicing your dislike of the helmet design, nothing else.

I can if I want, and I only ever bring it up at the appropriate time. When discussing MHX, (which has a similar, but not as noticable problem) or X8. Or Zero's design in general. I mean really. it is a very bad design. >3>

anyway,

we asked Joveth “JGonzo” Gonzalez of Capcom what we can expect the next time we cleave a Pantheon Hunter in twain with the razor-sharp emerald edge of the Z-Saber. He said “it’s the original North American release,” and that as such, no splatters on the walls.

Mega Man Zero collection confirmed to not have blood. AGAIN. (the question comes up due to the japanese video being used in the trailer.)

Really, Ive got even less incentive to get this now. Im really looking for some real kicker that makes me want to buy 3 of the games I already own. (Including the mod card system is nice, but that can be done on an emulator)
Then theres that "easy mode" But who the hell is going to play that anyway? (outside of elementary kids)
