Spiders. [tornado fang]ing Spiders. They creep me the [tornado fang] out. One catches me by surprise? I'm VERY likely to scream like a little girl and run away. The other day I was on my PC and a small one came down on a thread to say hi. I noticed it when i shifted my vision, and I damn near fell backwards in my chair.

Thankfully, the modern technology of portable vacuum cleaners, allows me to take care of them ghost busters style. No need to try and get it with a napkin or something.

Still. [tornado fang]ing creep me out. :C

I like Spring. but this is one of the downsides.

especially since the back yard has a rose arch my dad set up over the gate. You can just imagine how thrilled I am in Spring/Summer when I have to take out the trash can to the curb. At night. I'm traumatized. I once took it out, and when going back in, i spotted a large spider in a thread over one of the gate doors. I avoided it and went for the other side- where there was another one. [tornado fang], im getting goose bumps just remembering.

I hate spiders. ;_;

Nope, because Sony. they will NOT admit a defeat or fuckup to Sony. They are sticking to their guns, and it will cost them in the long run. Sony [tornado fang]ing executed Microsoft's console with the precision of a surgeon. And I'm not just talking E3. I mean the stuff behind the scenes, with rumors and possible misinformation, where it's possible that Sony intentionally leaked proposed DRM console ideas on the net to gauge reaction and set MS on their trail, so that they would blaze ahead with the One's DRM [parasitic bomb], thinking Sony would do the exact same. So Sony decides NOT to do it, and instead do the OPPOSITE, and also reveal their PS4 early, to force Microsoft to follow suit, who expected to squeeze some more life out of the 360. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if the Xboned's design is last minute. It's so [tornado fang]ing plain and boring that it looks like it took no long time to design, while the PS4 is VERY designed.

Saw Man of Steel.

Loved it. I'd agree with PB. The Kents and the Els were nailed perfectly. I can see where people complained about collateral damage, but lets be honest. Someone like Superman doesn't CHOOSE where to fight. He can't. Considering they are adding realism to Superhero movies these days, it makes more sense that some collateral damage will happen. that's life.

but in the end, I really liked it. if there's any gripes I have, they really are just gripes and nothing major.

10/10

so...

All this bullshit with used games?

Possibly actually illegal.

Xbox, please, go home.

From a wedding I went to recently, at the Hotel.

well, if you all remember from this (and previous pics of myself) I usually have long-ish hair. This up there is usually the limit to how short I'll cut it.

Recently, it got a little longer, round shoulder length. But I had to cut it for a job that either A, wants it short, or B, will allow me to make a ponytail and hide it under my hat. it wasnt long enough for B, so A it was.

Result:

Flame is not a happy Flame.

If this is pretty much common knowledge, why hide it?  Seems underhanded to me.
Probably because Microsoft is trying to pass it off as an actual console under the cabinet, when it's all smoke and mirrors. ESPECIALLY during presentations. They are trying to sell it as WOW LOOK AT ALL THIS [parasitic bomb] I'M DOING IN REAL TIME

When it's really not, and isn't even running on Xbox comparable hardware. No, it's just plain and simple a PC build. A high end Gaming PC.

Also, the fact that the PC's they are running at E3, don't even use "comparable specs". That PC, as pointed out by some astute /v/ users, (conformed by other PC folk as well) is running a Nvidia GTX 700 series or something GPU, when the actual Xboned uses a modified AMD GPU. there's also a water cooled CPU. And they are also using Windows 7, as opposed to the Windows 8 that the actual system uses.

Sony meanwhile, apparently is running on actual PS4 stuff. A Knack demo crashed at E3, and the interface was all Sony's PS4 OS, no PC stuff to be seen there.

And did we already discuss how Microsoft had folks going to the Wii-U event asking people why they were in line for a Wii_U when they could go around the corner to the Xboned stand and preorder it?

Apparently, the Wii-U turnout was bigger than Best Buy expected.

On that note, very interesting article

Well thats what most devs do. At E3, it's almost all gaming PC's running the gamesbecause they don't have the consoles ready. (especially Microsoft who's currently degrading their console due to those issues they were having. ) So they wow people with impressive PC quality graphics and framerate, because it's a PC, and the console version usually won't be nearly as good.

relevant:

Though from what i hear, Nintendo tends to be the exception, always running ACTUAL consoles, even if they are prototype "in development" versions.
