He doesnt have one. (yet) Though I would assume either brown or black, probably black, since it would fit in better with his armor. Hell, it might even be purple.

Oh hey I remember seeing this (I think) some time back on youtube and thinking it was kickass.
I like the extra effects and stuff. Looks cool.

The Light capsule dialogue seems spot on, (although, is there missing parts to it or is that odd skipping of certain words just because you were skipping through the dialogue?)

Also, yay! you used the X4 capsule music. ^_^

In my example, I pointed out how one case (Sonic 06) was a thing where a project made it to the market place, and its issues that made it to the final version where what incited bawling. Sega couldn't care less though, because they already MADE their money. Sonic 4 was a thing where the project was shown for what it was, and well, the joke was on Sega this time. They didn't even get a chance to make any money for "all their trouble". Oh! NOW they care! lolwut

Again, if the leak had not happened, Sega would've been fine releasing the product as was, funky physics and design decisions not-withstanding.
What im getting from this- is that basically, Sega releases Sonic 06. its full of problems and everyone finds something to [sonic slicer] about. Sega should basically say sorry, and re-release the game fixed? or recall every single one and release another version?
how would that benefit the company? Nobody seems to remember that Sega is a company. Yeah yeah I know. go ahead and whine at the "company excuse". but its true. they make a game to make money, nothing more. Some companies care more about the fans wishes and respond better to them than others. Sega made Sonic 06. it was hated universally. So ok. they made their money, what they could- and lets move on to something new then. Sort of how X7 flopped, and so Capcom did something different witht he next game.

They made storybook sonic, (which some people liked, and generally were liked better.) then they made Unlesahed. They made the manhog. people complained about the manhog, but found the regular sonic stages to be alright. so, Now comes colors, which is exactly what the fans were trying to get through Sega's skulls after unleashed. just make a game with the daytime segments. So they are. that shows that they saw that it works, and that hey, look at that, it pleases the fans too. two birds with one stone.

Now Sonic 4. A video is leaked, somethin which isnt even FINAL, and people are already complaining that Sega should be ashamed that it had glitches? thats like say- that recent X6 prototype having been leaked out, and people bitching about how Capcom should be ashamed that a non final product  has glitches and is incomplete. How dare a videogame company not make games perfect from day 1!

Keep in mind trailers would have surfaced event anyway, and other gameplay videos in afterwards, where people would have bitched about any problems there, if any.

Good sir, if you were to allow a purple can that's in flames to cross your path, would that be bad luck? I don't think so. But then again, that plant falling for a fox sounds just like one of god's twisted designs, that little demonic thing.
My my, you ARE most certainly correct on that dear sir.

Bloody hell.

Ah- By the way, i dare say i find that Eggman fellow to be quite daft in the head as of late, never quite being the last boss.
what! what!
Oh jolly ol' Sega! why ever is Eggman not the final boss anymore?~

Fish n' chips.

Fair enough. However, if that's the case, then shouldn't they not try to market this game as a return to Sonic's roots?  8D
Well, its that in a way, it still is a return. Its going back to the very basic formula of the genesis games. No werehog, no boost system, no "useless" spindash... like the past few 3D games had it- just badniks, Egg head, and checkered loop-de-loops. (and a spindash that works proper)

Same to Sato. Seriously.

Also, am I the only person alive who thought the minecart level actually looked interesting?

Wow. That sounded interesting.

I played it today. it was cool. I noticed that when X hits something with the saber, theres a different sound effect behind the actual saber's sound, used for the actual slice sound.

When he gets hit, that damage "shock" sprite is blue/cyan instead of the usual yellow

Is it just me, or is the falcon armor's dash ACTUALLY halfway decent here? I can swear that it actually covers more distance than in the final. Also, it has a different sound effect when he air dashes. sounds more like the sound effect from when he flies with he armor.

The portals to the alternate paths are green instead of blue...

in the intro stage, at the point where you have to wait for the rolling enemy to drop down before you can continue up the wall- there are two. wasnt there just one in the final?

Nightmare Zero has no sound PERIOD. only sounds in the battle are X's and the music.

X and Zero have low health phrases for when they hit low health, (like they had in X4) Which I dont recall being in the final. (unless it was in japan only)

the boss names are voiced when the boss selected screen appears, (unless thats a japanese thing that was removed from the US release)

Then the-

WHOA WHAT THE [tornado fang] WAS THAT!?

That portion of Wolfang's stage has pretty much the exact same snowball "flood" as the sections over the bottomless pit, instead of the single bouncing snowball in the final.

I dont remember this here...

Theres also no energy ups on the following platforms. just that one healer.

Well how else can they care more? Yes, they're caring. If they didn't care, they'd just give us a ton of Wii shovelware in the most easily-fabricated way possible, reusing engines and assets as much as they can, because it SELLS. The way they've been working on Sonic 4 for so long, and even taking the time to fix the game after the fans criticized what was leaked shows that they're caring about what they're doing, and that they want Sonic to have some damn respect again from people. They're giving the game for Dimps to do, because they know how to do good 2D Sonic. And their work so far on Colors shows that they've listened to what fans said about Unleashed, and are trying to fix its flaws instead of making yet another gameplay transition.

Just because they don't automatically pump out a hand-drawn watercolor version of Sonic & Knuckles redrawn by a team of Italian Renaissance painters, or whatever the fans keep suggesting would be so damn easy for them to make, it doesn't mean they don't care. They've been listening to fans, they even know the Sonic Cycle. Let them work on things, and let's try what Sonic 4 is all about before criticizing it.
What he said^

Those comics were real amusing.

My favorite was *take chestplate off before turning into vixy*

I chuckled at that one. XD I can only imagine how painful it would be to breathe with those amazing knockers trapped behind the chestplate.

Alright. first off, that last drawing looked pretty good.

We now return to PROJECT TRIDENT HAIR.

Im going to take a stab at (no pun intended) the trident hair deal that seems to be going on here.

Since you seem pretty insistent on keeping the hair really tall and out there, then try to at least make it look a bit more organic. or, such as Invader rock said a whoooole while back, try to balance out the spikes by maybe having his hair spikey all over, but with the three main attractions up top there.

I doodled a Chris to show you what I mean. Now, Im honestly not one to talk when it comes to natural looking hair- for... obvious reasons... but hey, this is just advice from one weirdly haired guy to another.

add some waves to it, some organicness to it something,  your latest drawing proves you ARE capable of it, so why not try it a bit more on the trident hair? make it actually LOOK like its been done up, rather than like his hair is literally a trident helmet on his head.

same goes for buzz saw Mc-frost tip hair. His hair actually, reminds me more of dreadlocks. I dont mean it as an insult, but unless thats the idea, then perhaps you should try splitting those large locks so they are not just big frosted spikes going around the top of his head.

Actually, try using the tablet to doodle him. that last tablet image was real good, and I liked the way you did that characters hair there... why not experiment with something like that for him?

Dont take any of that the wrong way, just throwing my very own 2 cents viewpoint your way.
