Actually I think the majority of comic readers hate Daken now.

I've always liked X-23 though. Nice shout out to the somewhat underrated X-Men: Evolution show.

Late reply is VERY late,
But I loved X-Men Evolution. Really good show it was. I was pretty sad to see it go. I never got to see the end of the Apocalypse arc when it was running.

I'll never understand how anyone could approve of Star Force. It killed what was obviously the superior counterpart.

But I don't feel like starting that battle. If you like Megaman, try out EXE. That's my advice for this thread.

I liked SF 1 and 3, I didnt like 2 that much. Of course, BN was superior, but SF (especially 1,) had its own charm.

That said, EXE and Pokemon are NOTHING alike aside from marketing scheme. Which means there is NOTHING to compare. Two different types of games for two different types of audiences.

Well the only thing they have similar is that they are RPG type games where you collect things. Which is why EXE and SF did well in japan, and games like ZX failed. Japan just loves that [parasitic bomb].

For the longest time, Capcom only cared about Japanese sales, and While the games sold very well over here, they sold poorly in Japan, which was at the time, more interested with Pokemon. (which is why games like Battle Network and Star Force did well there, they are of the same RPG collect em all type) ZX sold well because it was innovative, introducing the Metroidvania interconnected map style. ZXA did not sell that well over there. So we never got a ZX3.

Suuure. Go ahead Cappy. Put the blame on the foreigners.

theres a reason why recently Capcom has started to care about overseas sales with games like Universe, which is even using the overrseas name.
Because they realized that otherwise, megaman would not survive if they only looked at japan sales.

after that, they [tornado fang]'d up 8, and looks like this is going the same way.

I mean, theyre not even trying... its like, their philosophy is that to be a classic 8 bit Megaman game, they have to remove anything that wasnt in the 8 bit games, and dumb it down to Megaman 1-5 standards.
