The other metroid games have never been too big in the story deparment. often telling it from lore, and events in game. We rarely see Samus reaction to anything other than "body language". For all we know, Samus Jaw drops and her eyes widen in disbelief every time she sees ridley.

Also, the "Zebesians" thing. thats Other M. For some reason, they decided to make "Space Pirate" Synonymous with "Zebesian"

I honestly found the dive to not be a problem. I rarely NEED it anyway, what with Zero's broken Buster and his saber doing a good chunk of damage too.

X6 is the the deepest of any of the X games before it. we had a REAL Antagonist, with REAL motivations and desires. Gate is one of the better fleshed out villains. And sensei put thought into his design. Wasnt Gate his favorite? he was sad when he found out he wasnt going to be in another game

It was never a "Zero ending" they didnt screw anything up. His ending does not take place right after the game. It takes place some time in the future.
Of course, that is another thing X6 could have specified better.

I like X6. I like it above X5, (though X5 is a nostalgiatrip) and about on par with X4.

Some of the levels were just bad, (theres no excuse for Heatnix's stage) but others were just challenging.

X6. The game that is always challenging no matter how many times you play it.

Unfortunately, most of the 8 bosses are [acid burst] easy. Only Mijinion is any real threat.

People hate it because they need to suck less and be less butthurt about the fact.

Also, I found the Adam/Sector Zero scene to be awesome. When Adam was finally going in and Samus was banging on the door and then gives her thumbs down to him, I was already slightly tearing up.

Really? I found the music quite good. What little there was that wasnt just ambiance stuff.

All the other stuff goes back down to bad writing.

Instead, people bitched more about the fact that they were removed. I mean honestly, if it has the option to be turned off, then there is no logical point to remove them outright.

4062
I actually only ever watched the first movie. This inspires me to go rent the others though. X3

I liked it much better than what they did with US X5. I don't get why everybody likes how they did it in the US over how it was done in Japan.

Actually, I prefer all the Japanese version stuff over the US version, [tornado fang] X4 US Opening,MM8's Opening, X7's and X8's. I'll take the Japanese over that please.
Im sorry but that makes you sound INCREDIBLY much like a Weaboo. :| I like my fair share of the Japanese themes too, I like them all except for Monkey in fact,( I like the song, but It just doesnt seem to FIT in the X5 intro) but I ALSO like the US themes Except for X8's (mainly because it is repeated in various forms across the WHOLE game) they were still catchy and nice.

I forgot to mention the reason for this actually. It seems that for the 2010 Scream awards, the cast of Back to the Future is going to be reunited.

Edited the first post

Wait. X6 keeping the original opening music is a sign of a rushed localization?

That's a reach.
I only consider it such because all the other ones removed and replaced it. So from an initial point of view, it would seem they rushed the localization and thus did not replace them. But Hyper's point makes more sense than mine.

I still feel the reason they did not remove the songs was the rushed localization. Capcom has never expressed much interest in leaving the Japanese themes in. Only occasionally as Instrumental. (of course we would not have had cool themes like the Mega Man X3 PSX one, or the localized Classic 8 and X4 theme, but still) I wish though that they would leave them in. I dont see why they dont. Many other Japanese games keep their japanese pop themes and whatnot. (Mainly Jrpg's it would seem)

Heavy!

25 years after originally playing Marty McFly, Michael J. Fox has rolled up his jeans, slipped on his mirrored shades, and taken the driver's seat of Doc Brown's DeLorean once again.

It's to promote this year's Spike TV Scream Awards -- where the cast of "Back to the Future" will reunite -- Fox took part in a shot-for-shot recreation of the original teaser trailer for the movie. The video matches the original in nearly every detail, from the tongues sticking out of Fox's Nikes to the pulsating of the time machine's Flux Capacitor.

This is pretty awesome, IMO.

As a BTTF fan, I appreciate it. Thanks, Michael!

Alright alright, Point taken... Still, when one first plays the game as a kid, I doubt Slag is the first thing that comes to mind. >3>

Those are references to other Mega Man series, yes. He won't use those in-game, of course.
Aww. that would have been fun WTF moments. Like "DID HE JUST SHOOT ME WITH VILE'S CANON!?"

Even getting a true instrumental of the Japanese theme is fairly rare; IIRC only Z4 and ZXA did that (though in all fairness I'm not that familiar with BN/SF).
The localized X7's credits had an instrumental version of Shotaro Morikubo's "Lazy Mind"

Of course, X6 offered us Moonlight, The Answer, and IDEA in all their glory, so you never know.

yet that is attributed to X6's rushed localization. They rushed so much they just could not make replacement themes, so they just kept them there. Like the voices. (which were removed from X Collection) and the spelling errors

Also, Im not a fan of Monkey myself. :P

Myself and thy sexcellent PB at ComicCon.

It was funny watching everyone react to how large my hands are.  I'm not kidding when I talk about B button woes in MM10, folks. :P

Next, me hunching down with Mr. Inafune himself.

Figured he was probably sick of all us weirdos touching him, though I had to at least shake his hand before I left.

Lastly, besides the inflatable MMU lance and expected signatured items (MMXOCW, L3 poster, and thanks to PB, RPM's current front-page pic), I also picked up a few souvenirs at the BanDai booth:

Figures are random, and though boxed as "MegaMan" and not "Rockman", nearly all other text on the packaging appears Japanese.  Bass and the E-Tank are awesomeness, although to be honest I'd have traded X for a Roll if I could (I have a few X armor kits, but no toys of Roll).

Ah well, all the more reason for me to keep an eye on the Kotobukiya Roll.
This is the first time I have EVER seen a picture of you.

I think I've created a monster...
I think you might have.

If it has some Japanese song, it wont be in the US version. Or be instrumental only
