I liked it much better than what they did with US X5. I don't get why everybody likes how they did it in the US over how it was done in Japan.Im sorry but that makes you sound INCREDIBLY much like a Weaboo. :| I like my fair share of the Japanese themes too, I like them all except for Monkey in fact,( I like the song, but It just doesnt seem to FIT in the X5 intro) but I ALSO like the US themes Except for X8's (mainly because it is repeated in various forms across the WHOLE game) they were still catchy and nice.
Actually, I prefer all the Japanese version stuff over the US version, [tornado fang] X4 US Opening,MM8's Opening, X7's and X8's. I'll take the Japanese over that please.
Wait. X6 keeping the original opening music is a sign of a rushed localization?I only consider it such because all the other ones removed and replaced it. So from an initial point of view, it would seem they rushed the localization and thus did not replace them. But Hyper's point makes more sense than mine.
That's a reach.
Heavy!
25 years after originally playing Marty McFly, Michael J. Fox has rolled up his jeans, slipped on his mirrored shades, and taken the driver's seat of Doc Brown's DeLorean once again.
It's to promote this year's Spike TV Scream Awards -- where the cast of "Back to the Future" will reunite -- Fox took part in a shot-for-shot recreation of the original teaser trailer for the movie. The video matches the original in nearly every detail, from the tongues sticking out of Fox's Nikes to the pulsating of the time machine's Flux Capacitor.
Those are references to other Mega Man series, yes. He won't use those in-game, of course.Aww. that would have been fun WTF moments. Like "DID HE JUST SHOOT ME WITH VILE'S CANON!?"
Even getting a true instrumental of the Japanese theme is fairly rare; IIRC only Z4 and ZXA did that (though in all fairness I'm not that familiar with BN/SF).The localized X7's credits had an instrumental version of Shotaro Morikubo's "Lazy Mind"
Of course, X6 offered us Moonlight, The Answer, and IDEA in all their glory, so you never know.
Myself and thy sexcellent PB at ComicCon.This is the first time I have EVER seen a picture of you.
It was funny watching everyone react to how large my hands are. I'm not kidding when I talk about B button woes in MM10, folks.
Next, me hunching down with Mr. Inafune himself.
Figured he was probably sick of all us weirdos touching him, though I had to at least shake his hand before I left.
Lastly, besides the inflatable MMU lance and expected signatured items (MMXOCW, L3 poster, and thanks to PB, RPM's current front-page pic), I also picked up a few souvenirs at the BanDai booth:
Figures are random, and though boxed as "MegaMan" and not "Rockman", nearly all other text on the packaging appears Japanese. Bass and the E-Tank are awesomeness, although to be honest I'd have traded X for a Roll if I could (I have a few X armor kits, but no toys of Roll).
Ah well, all the more reason for me to keep an eye on the Kotobukiya Roll.
I think you might have.
I think I've created a monster...
