its actually smaller than I expected. I was expecting something the size of the Jazzwares figures. Its more along the line of the Mega Armor model kits. (bit taller though)

True, true. I guess I'm just paranoid Capcom won't fix the obvious crappy buildings. I mean, they DID give us X7 after all. It's not unlike them to just half ass things at times. Legends 2 probably had a bigger budget than Legends 3 will ever see though. Gah, the worries!

I honestly see the problem with X7 to be not visuals or any of the models or environments, but a bad engine and overly linear stage layout. AKA bad level design. Mega Man games usually look pretty good. I can only think of the models in X8 and MHX as an odd exception. (character design aside.) And maybe Command missions lack of expressions. But environments pretty much always look great. Im certain Legends 3 will be no exception for it's final release.

Especially a game that's been 10 years in the cue and which they are pouring so much creativity, love and fan imput on.

Yeah. Pretty much. Except Im starting to imagine higher.

Actually, now that i remember, there have been costly consoles in the past which flopped due to price. One that comes to mind is the 3DO, with it's $699 price tag in Pctober 1993, which didnt go down until near it's death in March 94.

Supposedly it will be this world wide earthquake or something like that.

You know, those people are gonna feel somthin' awkward when 7:00 PM strikes on the clock on May 21st and nothing happens. Even MORE so when the 22nd shows up.

ESPECIALLY the guy behind it, a retired MTA worker from Staten Island, (and yet I have really seen any of them mooks over here... looks like they decided to bugger Manhattan instead) who has literally blown his life savings on this ad campaign for the end of the world.

The issue I see with future generations of consoles, is that they certainly wont be getting any cheaper. As the technology becomes more and more new, and more and the consoles cost more to make, their prices will go up. And up. And up.

Wouldnt surprise me if some day in the future we begin to get consoles with the same price ranges as new computers.

It was ok. Pretty good even. The "terrible" comes in when they finally showed Clark in the damn suit. It looked awkward. Brandon Routh pulled it off, but Tom... Eeeeh. Dont get me wrong, he LOOKS the part of Clark Kent, but they didnt handle the scenes with "superman" that well. It's almost like they DELIBERATELY avoided direct full body close up shots of him in the suit. just movement, extreme close ups, shady distance shots, and the like. the final payoff of him just "pushing" Apokalips away was kind of lame too. For a final scene I was expecting more action and maybe a classic ol' Superman fistfight. Hell, Routh lifting new krypton and pushing THAT into outer space was much more intense than this. But nothing. He dons the suit for what, the last 10 minutes? Just in time to Save Air force 1, (off the camera, all we see is a blur go past the window) and then fly in a blur to push Apokalips. after which we see him floating in space looking back at earth in a long shot.
(which, maybe Im the only one who noticed, but it seemed like they were heavily influenced by Superman Returns on those two)

The fast forward was pretty well done, and they even played the classic superman theme, and we saw him go up to the roof and pull open the shirt. But.. I was expecting better. Especially more suit. Considering they went the extra mile just to obtain the one used in Superman Returns when DC was OFFERING them the Reeves suit, you expect them to get more use out of it.

Well at least they made him fly. Considering they didnt want him to.

So in the end, despite the almost rushed superman scenes, they WERE presented well, and the ending was nicely done. So my only real complaint was "I wanted more superman"
