When I try to imagine a flesh bodied Human trying to use A-Trans I'm reminded of Metroid Prime 1's entries on the Space Pirates attempts to reverse engineer the Morphball.

Why would the law try and control Repliroid haircuts?
Would it be a stretch? they are already enforcing equality between reploid and Human via making both races mechanical and aging, I wouldnt be surprised if there was some sort of law that required Reploid triangles to be visible. I mean hey serve SOME purpose, given that Zero series reploids did not require any triangles or such on their bodies. Alouette did not have a crystal until she was fitted for the Reploid/Human Laws. They are either to mark Repolids as reploids, or for some sort of other purpose. (Solar energy collector maybe?) As such, if they have some purpose, I would assume they are required to not be entirely obscured.

Im just going by what the games present. I mean, even the reploid dog has it visible when it stands to reason that it should be covered by fur or not have one at all.

All reploids we have seen so far are marked by the red triangle, and they all have it visible. As such I would reason that if there is no triangle visible, they are Human.

No, it's not that, I belive the topic title gets a little mixed up sometimes. Notably, the "[sonic slicer] about Sonic" thread. I'm viewing the thread's title in the main board as "[sonic slicer] about Sonic", but when I click on it, it immediately switches to "[sonic slicer] about Sonic" in the topic title when I view the topic's contents. huh.
Might be because the last person who posted had their filter on.

Helios and Atlas 'might' be Repliroids. It's unspecified after all.  As for Rockman Trigger; he's a who knows what.
MIGHT be. It isnt specified, but almost all reploids have their triangle very visible (even Prairie, who has it semi obscured) but those two have no visible red triangles at all.

Flame managed to roll out of the way, the torrent managing to only barely burn his back.

Flame cringed, but beared it.

She heard Talyn asking for cover.

"Ngh, well you heard her. Lets cover her!"

I laughed my ass off. Especially at that first one. Zero's expression in that last panel is irreplaceable.

It also looks like his armor is bulkier and thicker, which is just peachy with me. I like my megamen lookin' tough and well armored.

We do. Since Legends.

Volnutt is a cyborg Mega Man,

And the ZX protagonists Vent, Aile, and Ashe. As well as enemies Atlas and Aeolus.

Its interesting how they have incorporated a lot of E's design into D. mainly those joint things, but made them bigger, and part of the joints instead of something OVER the joints but part of the armor. Instead now, they make his joints not look like ball joints anymore, but the standard kind. At least they make the joints look complex and mechanical.

They kept the robot thong, but also included E's hip plates, which TBH was one thing I DID like about C and E. There's just something really nifty about them.

The backpack also more closely matches E's.

If there's anything I don't quite like, it's those bolt things on his feet. They feel unnecessary. I preferred just the plain white plating over them.

Its also weird, in that it was a design feature belonging to C, which was discarded in E.

but overall, really cool design.

We can all breathe a sigh of relief that Trigger's crotch is safe.

A game that looks seamlessly like an animated movie. Ive always dreamed of the day where we would just be playing straight up animated movie like games.

Dunno what it is, but something about this makes me think Mega Man.  Possibly Mega Man X?

The big problem, though, comes from the idea of trying to get characters from a completely different universe to fit with the style that has been dictated by Nintendo's characters in a fighting game.

Dont see how this is a problem. If Solid Snake can fit in Brawl, a Capcom character can too. Although Snake in brawl obviously wasnt exactly taking himself seriously.

MEGA MAN PLEEEEEEEASE CAPCOM.

Watch the character not be Mega Man but like Street Fighter's Ryu or something.

And a touch of botched part. Makes for a great dish. Slightly sweet and sour, with a hint of bitterness.

So, going on that conversation from awhile ago in the What are you thinking thread, Ive set about to redesign this thing.

on the right, the 2.0 design, (not reflective entirely of how he currently looks, but more or less its the same, minus the blue part on the legs). on the LEFT, is what im working on right now towards redesigning.

Im not sure what to do with the shoulders or arms, and would just like some input in general from some of you artists.

BTW those things on his legs wrap around behind them.

EDIT:
the basic point is, I want the design to look less Mega Man. because no matter how you look at it, it still does. and doesnt look too practical either.
