It appears Hot Topic, and perhaps others, will be selling officially licensed decks of Mega Man X4-themed playing cards later this Fall. Now you too can enjoy a game of poker with the likes of X the Ace, General the King, and Iris the Queen. Yes, I miss news of real Mega Man games too.

GE Animation, the folks behind a number of misc. Mega Man merchandise as of late, intend to release the cards to specialty retailers on September 15, priced at $5.99. Characters revealed thus far are X, Zero, Maverick Double, the General and Iris. Wouldn't be too surprised to see Colonel and a few Mavericks thrown into the mix.

that said, at least they look pretty nice.

This "Mega Man Next" seems to be one that we should look out for.

Mega Man Next is a finished game. As is Mega Man X Next: Saviors. If anything, we should look out for Mega Man Next Remix. But that will probably never happen beyond a mere demo.

mega man X Next was actually one of the most ambitious X fangames before JKB came along and topped it with Mega Man X: Corrupted.

I feel you on the Barnes and Noble thing. Sadly it's the only bookstore that's close to me now since Waldenbooks closed down in the mall, and the closest Border's had closed down too. It really sucks because I liked Waldenbooks so much more.

I vaguely recall a scene where Sigma is standing over X with glowing hands, and Zero throwing himself in front of him, is that if you play as Zero or something?

thats if you beat Awakening Zero. The normal scene involves Zero fending off Sigma with his Buster instead of throwing himself in the way.

What scene was that anyway? It's been so long since I played X5 (and I really don't feel like playing it again, ever) that I only remember Zero being shot through the chest after losing his legs somehow.

Ending. Sigma explodes and talks [parasitic bomb] to X about how he's gonna take Zero down with him. And next scene- we see Zero with no legs and one arm. we have No idea WHERE the hell he was, but even though X was the one right next to Sigma, he gets away with only a few scuff marks and a sore arm.

Only thing i dislike about the 3DS version is that well, there really is little difference. its just Sonic WITH boost, and Sonic without boost. :/

Those images are beautiful though. Im going to bee too busy admiring the scenery to play the game

Horrible. After bugging my folks to take me to Barnes and Noble, they didnt have the damn book I was looking for. Nope. Sold out. They had the NEXT one, and TWO of the PREVIOUS one, but not the one I was looking for. God damn it. So I ordered one and they will call me when it comes in. Damn I miss Borders already. In fact, I rarely went to Barnes and Noble, because Borders had pretty much all they had, plus plushies and sweets and [parasitic bomb]. Plus they were smaller so it was easier to find what you were looking for.

And it was easier for me to get to the mall than to Barnes and Noble.

So Im feelin' kind of grumpy.
