Because Batman pulling off a person mask is more realistic.

Dont forget Toymaker has deduced Superman's Identity in "What happened to the Man of Tomorrow?" and even LAMPSHADED the fact of how funny it is that he fooled everyone with just a pair of glasses and combed back hair.

Oh back to Batman, dont forget hes also used Glasses+Mustache+Match to disguise Bruce Wayne as Matches Malone.

No duh, It just surprised me, after all they are his ONLY disguise. And seeing as this time he doesnt seem to have the curl thing going on, (Curl as superman, hide the curl as clark)

Oh, related.

Well Im still gonna give it a chance, not gonna knock it till I see it, After all, when i heard Nolan was involved, I was pretty sure It was gonna be good, just my initial impressions of the costume are "eeeeeeeh...."

Also, it seems Clark Kent wont have Glasses? Theres at least 2 screens of him as Clark, without glasses.

What works in a comic book doesnt necessarily always work in real life.

also dont be so sure. Remember Superman Returns had maroon instead of red. Wouldnt surprise me if the way the colors are now is the way it looks in the movie.

also-
the first pic up there is apparently shopped from 2 pics.

The suit wouldnt bother me that much honestly, but the bulge is just incredibly distracting.

It resembles the comics a bit, but minus the armored look. just tights minus the undies.

I guess we should wait for actual footage, like a trailer, but for now? "Not sure if want"

Personally, I think its a pity Routh isnt getting a second shot at the cape. He bears an uncanny resemblance to Reeve.

probably because the 2D kept selling well, and the 3D Legends bombed. So they skipped the 3D, and kept at 2D, until X7, where again they tried 3D, by integrating it with 2D. It failed. So back to 2D it was.

Command Mission was 3D, although not a platformer, but it probably didnt sell well or they didnt want to take the risk of trying 3D again, if there isnt a CM 2 or another 3D effort.

So they went 2D with X8. buuut, X8, and ZX2, didnt sell well enough, so the 2D began to stagnate. With no idea left on what to do, they figured a return to Classic's roots would be a welcome revival of the classic franchise.

then they made another one.

but apparently 10 didnt do well enough since we dont have 11.

And so we are where we are now, where Capcom doesnt know what the [tornado fang] to do with megaman and doesnt want to take the risk and try something. So they neatly fold him away and focus on merchandise instead. Until someone gets a lightbulb over their head and releases another megaman game, one which will be received as "FINALLY A NEW GAME" but which will probably be nothing all too special at all.

The Xbuster Quake mod thing? Thats pretty much what I ALWAYS imagined a 3D Mega Man platformer looking like.

Legends isnt a Platformer. Its a 3D Action RPG/Dungeon Crawler.

X7's 3D segments are Platformers. But again, badly hindered by the [parasitic bomb] level design.

Megaman has done racing, Though they should do it again, because Battle and Chase was so damn fun. A modern version would be sweet.

Ive also been waiting for a good 3D megaman platforming forever. I wish we would get one of those. Its certainly possible, but I would give it to an outside party to handle. I dont think Capcom could do it.

Say what one will about Sonic Team, at least theyve tried. again and again.

The Beyond Universe is currently being given quite alot of attention, and alot of love with that recent comic series, the one-shot stories, the integration of a separate Beyond-like continuity in the normal DC Universe with Damian mentoring Terry McGinnis...

We're gonna see more of it, guaranteed.

Also, Bats #1 and Wondy #1 ruled. Wondy specially is the best thing I've ever seen her be the main character of. If it keeps on being as good, it'll be the best Wonder Woman run there is, and we'll finally have amazing Wondy books to speak of.
I actually keep seeing on that Release date list floating around the web, Januay being tossed around with Batman Beyond in it, but supposedly unconfirmed.

I got a hold of Green Lantern Corps 1, and Supergirl 1. Place was out of GL 1 though.

I really like the new Super Girl Suit. I really like it. The haircut is cool too. Reminds me of Power Girl.

Say, with the New 52 and all that, does that mean previous things like the Batman Beyond comics are canceled? And I assume we wont be seeing a Superman Beyond #1.

On another note, I also bought Batman Beyond #1 and Superman Beyond #0. (I read SB, but I liked it, so I figured id buy it)

Konami and SquareEnix... but not Capcom.
We'll never see Megaman in a Smash Bros game, will we?
Nope. Probably not.

We've been hearing the wildest tales like Capcom employees being only allowed to work on Rockman titles in their spare time
Rockman 2 you mean?

The first game didnt exactly sell the best. So when they wanted to make a sequel, Capcom allowed it as a side project to work on in their spare time.

I always felt Shooting star reached a satisfying conclusion, leaving the door open for further adventures. Subaru finaly finds his dad, happy ending.

I think we might get a "new Inafune" eventually. But i wouldnt expect someone like that to appear too soon.

Moral of the story: Dont overuse CG, and it will be a great way to complement the real parts of a movie.

I would say CG as far as environments go, is definitely better than it was back then, or at least I think so. Its far less distracting. But I guess it all really boils down to what it is. what its supposed to be. A castle spire on Hogwarts? A corridor on the Death Star? a Waterfall? And depending on what it is, it is easier or harder to hide and conceal. Lighting also plays a key there as thats what usually gives it away. When the lighting comes off as uncanny. its perfect, but you can just tell.

OR,

All that really matters is if the movie itself is actually any good. Harry Potter uses its fair share of CG, but the movie itself is still a good movie, and the CG is used appropriately. As much as possible is prop. Especially indoors inside the castle, and even a fair bit outside, all of that is set. Unlike Lucas, who would rather make the simplest whitewashed corridor with no details- out of CG rather than making a set for it.

I was reading some magazine that discussed the final HP movie, and they talked about how the destruction of segments of the castle wasnt as simple as simply breaking sets, they had to make completely new sets that were purposely broken. That kind of effort really says something, and makes the end result much more personal, than CG.
