I find it strange that Light of all people would make a massproduced robot, when he was so insistent on robots being unique and Humanlike. To make some massproduced robot just seems out of character. I mean, where IS Mega Man in all this? if it' a crossover, where are all the other Mega Men? etc.

As for the design, I like it. The fur collar is a bit weird, but the rest of him is fine.

I could excuse the game for being terrible if it's story is at least interesting to me. But outside of the plot devce of "mass produced Mega Men", the plot seems really sketchy. He's made by Cossack and Light, but it's a crossover of all the series? Even alternate universes? That's weird. is it a time travel thing? I would really like to know more, but I cant really expect amazing crossover plot from a phone game.

As for the guy and his blog and his opinion, well he's entitled to it. I dont think he quite understands WHY people are so upset, and WHY his idea of "if you keep complaining Capcom wont listen, try and suppert their games and maybe they will" doesnt work. Capcom has proven that either way they will not listen.

Support the bad games? "OH GOODY, THEY WANT MORE OF THAT" decry the bad games and avoid them like the plague? "OH SEEMS THEY DON'T LIKE MEGAMAN, OK, NO MORE MEGAMAN GAMES."

As for Over-1, I kinda wish his concept was introduced in a real game, rather than a shoddy one like this. his concept and design feel wasted here.

hey postal worker is it such a [tornado fang]ing chore to walk five [tornado fang]ing steps to the door to attempt package delivery, really?

now I have to go to the post office tomorrow and waste my time because you couldn't be assed to take 5 [tornado fang]ing steps to knock on a door, that road construction scary? too [tornado fang]ing bad, through rain, sleet and all that [parasitic bomb] but a dirt road and road construction? naw [tornado fang] that.

I'm ready to file a complaint now, I heard no knocking or dog barking so they didn't even bother.
Being a mail carrier is one of the most grueling jobs ever. The most walk-intensive job there is. They burn through sneakers incredibly fast. It's a somewhat thankless job too. People seem to take it for granted. And with the advent of email and all that, with post offices closing left and right, many of them hire less workers and instead have them run longer routes. I would know, I have a mail carrier in the family. It' not an easy job by any stretch of the imagination. I think they are entitled some slack on that front.

funfact, also: in Florida, Mail carriers almost never leave their vehicle and almost never walk, due to the extreme heat. So Post Boxes are required to be in a specific spot on the sidewalk.

Even Thomas the [tornado fang]ing Tank Engine is a CG cartoon now. It really doesn't have the same charm at all, and I find myself struggling to like it.

Nothing is sacred.

Also, riding on the resurgence of Judge Dredd much?
Actually, this [parasitic bomb] has been long since planned, or at least in the works. Even before Judge Dredd remake.
This movie has been planned since 2005, but was in development hell till 2011, when they actually started getting the train in motion with casting and such.

I remember years ago, I dont even rememebr what movie I went to see, and I saw this 80's-tastic poster:

That [parasitic bomb] got me excited. And then I wondered what the hell happened with it, till only maybe last year concept art started surfacing, and that one Omnicorp Video.

Speaking of OmniCorp, Michael Keaton is playing the CEO, who will be the bad guy. That should be fun.

On another note, Officer Lewis is now a dude.

Though they could be going for the Prime Directives John Cable angle. (say what you will 'bout Prime Directives, Robo Cable was awesome)

;O;

But at least Metroid has a chance of recovering from Other M...
Metroid had it's 25th anniversary totally glossed over. And 26th. Other M's. Blowup has caused a legends 3 like event with metroid in Nibty.

I think George Carlin said it best:

“Just think of how stupid the average person is, and then realize half of them are even stupider than that"

I have some hunch that the arm that was able to be salvaged in the original that was removed is kept in this reboot.

But still, that [tornado fang]ing costume screams Batman more than it does Robocop.
Yeah it could be a mythology gag.

On the costume- I really want to like it, just it seems too plain as is. Though looking at the "We have the future under control " poster, he will likely have red lughts on him, probably. Cg.

Putting effort in a Megaman game is a punishable crime within Capcom

We all like science fiction and all that, and people love to watch older movies like Ghost in the Shell for their genre and portrayal of the future, (which is usually the 90's) But the more I look at the world around me,

I come to the realization... We are living in the very dystopic Cyberpunk future we like so much from movies and comics. We just haven't realized it.

So. This surfaced.

What do you guys think so far? I must admit the hand bothers me, but im not gonna give the look a full critique till ive seen the final thing on film... Some stuff my be SFX and such, so the suit we see there might not look entirely the same. It could very well have lights and [parasitic bomb] added post production.

(fandom, PLEASE explain how your "organic reploid" theory works.  -u-')
Goes a little somethin' similar to Classic Mega Man having an unarmored form.

Rockman Series / Re: [News] No New Game for 25th Anniversary (Probably)

It funny because they didnt like Street Fighter either, and actively tried to get Ono to do something else, something "profitable" before he pushed 5 out the door and it sold like hotcakes, prompting Capcom to pour everything into it. They didnt seem to be willing to recreate the magic with their other "unprofitable" mascot franchise. But Capcom has consistently proven that recently, they have terrible business sense.

And I agree with Magnet Man. A new game with actual effort for the 25th will be pretty much the only thing I would accept as a real 25th anniversary present for the franchise. Anything less than that is just petty change tossed at us to shut us up.

"OH LOOOOOOK, WE MADE A REEEEALLY EXPENSIVE E-CAN SOUNDTRACK COLLECTOR TIN! ITS EXPENSIVE SO THAT MEANS IT HAD EFFORT PUT INTO IT! SEE? WE CARE!"

No Capcom. It's stocked with rehashed soundtrack CD's.

"I'm not so sure Wily ll would appreciate you bashing in the doors..."

Flame took a small handheld device from one of his pouches, and approached the door, looking for some sort of panel or ID scanner.

Since the entire Wily l Complex was surrounded by ice and frosted all over, it took him a few moments to find an old ID panel on the side. After fiddling with it, he managed to pull it out and connect some wires from his device to the system.

"Lets see now then. If I do this here... And... Alright, now there... ..."

He pressed buttons on the device and after a while, the doors rumbled open.

"Alright, there we go. That should do it."

He replaced the door panel back to it's location, and motioned to Sakura to enter.

"Ladies first~"

Flame thought for a moment, then said,

"Despite me running errands and helping him out a lot, no, I can't say he ever sent me here. Something like looking for machine parts and such might be something he prefers to do himself."

He shrugged, and walked up to the doors.

"So how do we open these then?" I dont think it's gonna exactly allow us inside... Should we hack the door system?"

They drove for a while until they passed the Wily ll Tower and grounds, and over the old rusted Bridge of Evil to the abandoned Wily l Complex.

"Alright, here we are then."

Flame said to Sakura as he got out of the Jeep.

As they approached the massive entrance doors, Flame asked Sakura:

"So, did you have any particular idea on how to get inside? I mean, is this place's power even on? I figure we might have to find some kind of generator somewhere before we can do much..."

Great excuse for "we couldn't/didn't want to think of an interesting way to build upon how we did final stages in X1, so here's the boss rush mode from Mega Man Classic. Enjoy!"
The same could be said for X1 you know... It followed the exact same pattern of Boss re-fighting that the original Mega Man did.

Maybe it led to wherever the main control room is for the whole damn place, and Sigma destroyed it so X would have to go in through the defenses of all the boss teleporters.
