also, I think this was the build shown in gamepro. I remember at first, the lava stage was supposed to be a timed area where you had to destroy a certain number of a certain enemy.

Finished Betterman.
twas interesting. I wish it had more of the titular character though. he appeared like once per episode, once to fight, to save the protagonists asses, and a few "cameos" where he's just watching something happen. only in the later episodes near the climax does the series start delving more into his character a bit.
hmm. now im off to watch the first episode of Avatar. me and my Anime club teacher made a deal. I give Avatar a chance, and he'll check out Yugioh 5D's.
other than that, any suggestions on what anime to watch next? you guys should get an idea by now what kind of anime's I like.

X7 and 8 actually have plenty to do with the storyline.
now, not presenting it as beautifly and rich as in X5 and 6, thats another story, what with X7's still scenes about Axls boring life, and a few on red and Sigma, and with X8 having all story presented on the stage select screen rather than in cutscenes. Since they didnt want to use stills, and didnt want to make extra animated ones.

thats what I mean, he just is portrayed as overly cold, and thats what bugs me. whatever happened to the attitude he had in X5 and 6? he was more serious, but still retained a certain amount of surface personality.

Lacking access to the internet at the time of X2, I didn't honestly know what Zero's redesigned armor was supposed to look like. X3 was the obvious indicator to me that the designs were too complex for the sprites. Main reason I want to smack these "ZOMG MAKE SNES X9" people in the face.
I personally liked X3 Zero's sprites.
