Oh come on.  Do something crazy like... have a completely nonsensical boss fight between Megaman and Bill Nye across RPM's main page.  Who -wouldn't- laugh at that?

And... that would be an April fools prank... how...?

I once suggested changing all the member icons (the rank) to the banned icon on everyone, so on april fools, everyone is "banned" so to speak. in fact, to add insult to injury, banned for real members should get the regular icon at the highest rank possible.

A megaman site I go to used to do that... right after changing the banner to something with rainbows and "fabulous" in it.

I'd actually recommend it. Since it's just three OVAs long it could use more fleshing, but it's still very good IMO.

And as far as her depiction in the above fanart goes, I'd say she doesn't look off at all. The picture Flame posted is an 'odd man out' as far as she goes, since the vast majority of the artwork has her even as a DFC (the OVA included). But that's what makes that other piece of art even better IMO. >_>

I'm glad enough to see it getting some love from artists on the web. I can count in my fingers how much fanart of SMR is out there.

the SM series in general needs more recognition.
Ive never watched SMR though. Ive gotta go look for it one of these days.

SMJ is more commonly known, yet still somewhat obscure.

It probably is, since it contains half-assery (re-use of official artwork (notably the Zero mugshot), badly drawn X (Armor's slightly off from the origional design) and Casshern (arms are a too close together, possibly too thin), and what appears to be a fan-character of someone that knows how to write japanese) and RPG Maker-esque graphical quailties.

actually, the other character looks vaguely familiar.

thats just it, Model A is in the ZX series. the ZX series is 32 bit with some 3d elements, and still has a few bells and whistles. it has its gimmicks. plus Model A is not Axl. it may look and act like him, but it is not him. Axl is different from X in that he has a rapid fire gun that fires in all directions. that is his main gimmick. that wouldnt work on a 16 bit platform, especially if capcom abuses its "retro" factor. then he wont be any different than classic megaman with a dash. no charge shot, and probably no transformation... though they *might* leave that in.
also, I can diss Axl all i want cuz Im entitled to my opinion.

one question though JKB, when you release the game, how will it be released? hosted and playable on another site such as newgrounds or something, or will it be a downloadable game?
