No it was not.
Its Bolt Crank. An "Explorer" ( basically a mercenary with ethics. They don't take killing jobs) He's got the ability to ingest ANYTHING, and reproduce it from the flesh around his body. He eats a gun, he can pop it out o his hand anytime. He doesnt eat normal food though. Only metal. He once ate a whole old abandoned train. He subsequently go hit in the chest with a big ass missile. and it didnt kill him because he regenerated the train's front end riiight under the surface of his chest.
he also mysteriously never ages. He usually munches on bolts all the time.

Plus the saber X gave Zero was Zero's... there's nothing to say that Omega didn't have a saber, and Vile gave him a new one. If we go with the theory that Zero at some point had the Buster outright removed from himself, then the Omega Body would not have one, and therefore, Vile would need to give him something, and uses the same fashion of Handgun that Milan used and was passed on to Zero, maybe because of that model's compatibility with the Saber.

Plus Mets have been shown to have intelligence even far before the X series. Super Adventure Rockman shows that with the Met family. It may not be absolute or on the same level as robots such as Rock or robot masters, but they do have intelligence. by the X series, they can only have gotten smarter.
