« on: August 27, 2009, 07:53:30 PM »Volt Kraken had the best Ride Chaser stage, IMO. Of course, I could just be saying that due to my love of the music for that stage.I love his music. its awesome. then again, X5 had an all around awesome soundtrack.
also, as much as his Ride chaser segment was cool, (I love how the thing rams into the wall at the end and blows the floor up.) it wasnt too long...
I always thought it was bull that the ground "was so damaged only a ride chaser could go through" I mean, what the hell is Gaia Armor for then?
Plus X and Zero have gone through worse. its just a small electrical hazard is all...

ZX was MUCH better than ZXA. ZX was more alive than it, the music was better too. ZXA has only a few notable tracks, mostly soul ablaze, Grey/Ashe's intro stages, the Quarry, flying Area A, and Vent/Aile's theme. (Determined Eyes, was it?)
while almost ALL of ZX1's soundtrack was much better made. and the detail is poor in ZXA. the backgrounds and stages themselves feel bland in terms of aesthetic appeal. the stage design was interesting, but the look wasnt.

mmm... Just got Red Joker monday.
Game's different, thats for sure. a few things seem weird and somewhat "taken for granted" but otherwise good. also, good God Red Joker's Meteor server folder...
interesting thing with bud...
also, I really seem to like the bosses. And the whole noise system makes fighting more fun. (Not the noises themselves, but seeing how high you can get your noise counter.)

What I have noticed about Vista is that it has a few unnecessary things, such as the fact that the start menu doesnt cascade and opens in the same "window" thing. and I dont change it to classic, because the side tabs are convenient.
then, theres the stuff it SHOULD have. It does not have Windows Picture and fax viewer, meaning I have to open Gifs in Firefox.

then on the start menu, the power button actually puts the computer to sleep. you have to go to the little side arrow and the little side menu to select what you want to actually do, Shut down.
other than that, it just takes a bit of getting used to. Coming from Xp, it a bit overwhelming since its pretty drastically different. but I got used to it. no problems yet. Except Windows Firewall has an annoying habit of turning itself off on occasion.

As for the junk snake, I'm starting to think a trashed version of the Mechaniloid in "Day of Sigma" (giant, three eyes, has a claw that grabs an extra and has lazah eyes) would be cooler. I think I'll do both, then see which looks better.
