Giovanni narrowed his eyes. "Mewtwo's existence was classified." He let out a groan and rubbed his brow. "But, it has a really bad habit of making itself known when it escapes."
"Also," Domino nodded, "Mewtwo's creation was a classified project, as we had plans to mass-produce the creature. That, however fell through..."
"When it escaped the first time," Giovanni growled. "Mewtwo manages to cause millions of dollars in damage each time, and it has a human body count in the hundreds."
"It's dangerous," Domino nodded. "And it can't be let free. If we can't contain it, and if some idiot trainer tries to catch it..." She trailed off to allow her words to sink in.
And as for me, the sunburn is still bothering me. I slept without a shirt just to ease the pain.
Do they know what they're fighting for?
Yeah, I'm not about to give it up. Every now and then, RPs could use a dosage of plot.
My point was, however, that just because I wasn't as familiar with the setting or characters as everyone else, that doesn't mean that I should do a lackluster job of RPing. Unfamiliarity with the source material is just an excuse. There are plenty of avenues one can pursue in order to broaden their knowledge.
Well there in lies the other problem. They don't really fit in with what's happening anymore. Their characters are written to be very adventurous, spontaneous, and carefree. But with what's going on, they don't really have a place in the group. Not to mention that they're useless if no one else can write them accept me in an RP that updates 3-4 pages before I can get a chance to join back in.
The trio scream in panic as they try to get their cards back only to run into each other and fall into a pile on the ground below the Skarmory, while Hierophant increases the sandwiching pressure of the card on his back and Excalibur snags the last one with his fangs, watching somewhat helplessly as the three remaining cards are stacked upon each other and lowered gently onto the Skitty's back.Pyro then walked up to the dogpiled Team Rocket and held up Bruce the Psyduck who was still licking his lollipop.
I'm... not sure. But I'll think of something!
