In the cafeteria, Pyro jumped onto the table and loudly declared, "I ain't afraid of no ghost!"

Outside, hundreds upon hundreds of ghosts flooded into the hole in pursuit of the Superia. Meanwhile, the Shuppet that spooked (pun intended) Steiner rose from the control console and thrust itself into his face while the Dusclops tugged at his coat. A half-dozen Gastlys and two Haunters entered the bridge with mischievous intent, and if things could not get worse, the Superia grazed a burrowing Steelix. The giant ferrous snake roared and followed after him.

Ghost-types all sizes and shapes congregated throughout Fuchsia City and the area surrounding the Superia. If one paused to listen, they could hear their eerie howls riding on the night breeze. One of them, a Shuppet, descended up the Superia and effortlessly moved to the walls to find Steiner. It hovered behind him while a Dusclops lurched towards the door.

"Shuuuuuuuppppppet!"

Dr. Wily II blinked at what the Blaziken said, and glasped the scar on his chest again. The Blaziken was right, Pyro managed to do it... Then again, Pyro is unorthodox... But maybe... Just maybe... The Blaziken was on the something... "Thank you for your advice." Dr. Wily II bowed.

"You are quite welcome," Firebrawl replied.

Pyro turned off his game and stashed in his backpack as he got back up, "Welp, that was fun."

He whistled loudly and a flying taxi driven by a Dusknoir appeared from the ether where it came to a stop. For some odd reason, it wore a cap and polka-dot bowtie as its uniform and looked to Pyro, who jumped into the front seat, with its single red eye. Firebrawl bowed to Dr. Wily II again before he joined Mr. Spook in the back seat. The impossible trainer rolled down the window to wave to the doctor.

"See ya around!"

The taxi's tail spluttered as the Dusknoir drove the taxi back into the ether where it faded from the Doctor's view. It reappeared on the road near Ahrzayl and her current companions, Quickie and Sakura.

"Duskkk," the Dusknoir cabbie said as he pointed to the meter.

Pyro pulled out a shiny Starmie with a glistening jewel, which the Dusknoir gladly accepted as pavement. Pyro disembarked from the enchanted vehicle and waved as it drove down the street to pick Arceus knows what.

"Then I have to respectfully declined your kind assistance. Your intentions are appreciated." Dr. Wily II bowed. "I think it's still best if... If my "son" can find the answer..."

Mr. Spook shrugged, "Well, you're the boss... or the other boss anyway."

Firebrawl nodded, "Though he may of helped you already."

Mr. Spook glanced at the Blaziken, "Huh?"

"Think about it," Firebrawl explained, "Our trainer managed to control the evil Doctor's movements without him knowing about it. Maybe the good Doctor can do it if he really wants it."

"Ah, I knew this place looked familiar," Mr. Spook said, "It's gotta be the Dream World."

Firebrawl turned to the Doctor, clasped his right claw over his left fist, and bowed respectively. "Perhaps you may be able to hinder your other self if you can't stop him," he said, "Until then, Doctor."

"Hehehehehe," a disembodied voice chuckled before it revealed itself as Mr. Spook, "Sounds like a job for a psychic."

Before Dr. Wily II could say anything, it became apparent that Pyro's Pokemon were wandering his mindscape.

Inside... Dr. Wily II sighed in relief at averting a potentially painful beating. He turned to see Pyro engrossed in his handheld, taking about showing off his... Digimans... Whatever those are. Turning to face the Blaziken...

"Are you sure having him here is OK? I know he wants to help, but from what has transpired thus far... He's creating more problems, than solutions, for me..."

Firebrawl scratched the feathers on his forehead with a single claw, "I'm not sure having him around mortals is okay," he answered bluntly, "But you're the scientist You should be able to find a way to use him to stop your evil self."

Pyro tumbled onto the ground before he turned to Dr. Wily II. His eye widened and sparkled as he sniveled and appeared ready to bawl his lungs out. His Blaziken could only can his head and bury it in his palm.

"You really did it this time," he said to Pyro as he reached inside to take out was appeared to be a portable (color) console from the early 90s. He handed to Pyro, "Here. Please keep the old man out of trouble."

The eternal boy grinned and began to immerse himself in the game.

"Do you want to see my Digimans?"

Pyro popped out from between the couch cushions with a remote control in paw. He switched from the news to an aerobics show. Upon landing on the floor he matched their movements in perfect rhythm with the music.

Pyro accidentally tripped over a root and stumbled into a giant gummi bear. For Evil Dr. Wily II, that meant landing face-first in Janine's cleavage.

The Blaziken shrugged, "It is not like I can stop, nor do I really have the desire to."

Pyro's attention turned towards what appeared to be a jukebox and slotted in a coin. Soon "You Should Be Dancing" played and Pyro danced along with it. Unfortunately for Wily's evil persona, it unconsciously forced him to spin on his heel and strike a pose in lockstep with the immortal trainer.

Dr. Wily II looked up at the Blaziken, and sighed. "Even so... There isn't much I can do. Whatever was used to contain my other self is now gone, and I do not have the mental fortitude to contain him myself..." Dr. Wily II then grasped the scar on his chest. "He had, and will always be, a part of me..."

"He sounds like he'd be a lot of fun to play with!" Pyro cheered, "Can I play with him?"

Firebrawl glared at Pyro for a moment then turned back to the counter, "Think your other self is strong enough to withstand him?"

Firebrawl grabbed the Doctor and lifted him up by the shoulders. His yellow eyes blazed as he stared in DWII's eyes with searing intensity.

"You need to get a hold of yourself, Doctor! You know what is happening and what is at stake if you do nothing! Whether you believe it or not, my trainer was concerned for you and came to help. Are you really going to make it all for nothing?!"

Firebrawl popped out of his Pokeball to appear before Dr. Wily II and glanced back at his trainer, "What he means is that Pyro saw "you" being mean to your Pikachu so he wandered over here. You must forgive him, his mind, it is not bound to linear time and space."

Was the Blaziken actually speaking to the Doctor in English, or was his subconscious translating for him.

"It wouldn't be the same without Mr. Plumber," Pyro said, "You should play for him at his birthday party!"

"Well, I do owe you for saving me and the band from that Dunsparse stampede in Violet City," Weird Al replied and then moseyed off, "Well, catch you later, P-Man."

With that said, the performer shuffled out and disappeared into the landscape, leaving Dr. Wily II alone with the impossible child who tilted his head at the old man.

"So why were you hanging around?" he asked, "Were you playing a game? Can I play?"

Pyro pulled a huge Square-Enix sword from his backpack and sliced the rope. Dr. Wily would have bounced off the ground had one "Weird" Al Yankovic not caught him in his arms. The performer looked out at the surreal landscape and gawked at the Doctor.

"How in the name in Strauss did I get here?"

Pyro appeared on the tree branch Dr. Wily II was hanging from, or he at least THOUGHT it was a tree. Its leaves were devoid of an leaves and the only other things hanging from it were facsimiles of the Doctor's head... if it were a mango.

"That's my name!" he said to DWII, "Is this Albuquerque?"

He then jostled one of the hanging "fruit" till it fell from the branch and dropped to the ground where it bounced. Back in the material world, the impact made Dr. Wily's II evil personality slap himself in public.
