« on: August 01, 2013, 06:13:18 AM »After experiencing a house fire, I was afraid of fire for a while. Then, it devolved into a touch of pyromania. I went from fearing fire, to playing with matches and lighters, and lighting plastic bags on fire to watch them melt and drip. I'm a lot more responsible with fire now, though. I have three lighters, but they're for candles and incense.
I used to play with fire a lot, but then "something" happened when I visited Ms. O'Leary's barn back in old Chicago.

He took his leave and headed back to his office to get a hold of Yeung. Thoughts of Team Rocket cooperating with Team Cipher gave him the chills. Given that Team Gaia and Saturn's faction of Team Galactic were collaborating against Rocket, he wondering with a war was slowly brewing. He would have to inform Archie to confirm the Rocket/Cipher connection in the near future.

Radar now confirms that the Great Rhydon has surfaced near Mount Moon and is en route to an unknown location. I believe that Agent 054 has gone rogue, sir, and he has commandeered the vessel."
Dr. Zeigler then produced a file on Steiner, "I t-took the liberty of reviewing his last p-p-psychiatric evaluation. Dr. Zamba reports that he is a 'textbook megalomaniac with delusions of grandeur who will likely undergo a psychotic break if left untreated.' He has refused any treatment according to the file and reacted violently when Dr. Zamba suggested that he go on sick leave six weeks ago. Then there is his last transmission..."

Dr. Miles Zeigler pretty much took over the position of attache to Giovanni with Domino undercover. He had been monitoring events in Cerulean City with that mysterious music and tremors emanating from Mount Moon. With Jesse's failure to secure the vessel he had a feeling that Agent 054, Steiner, was somehow responsible as he had failed to report in for days now and his last transmissions were worrying to say the least. He quietly entered Giovanni's office.
"P-P-Pardon my intrusion, sir," he said, "But I-I-I-I have news regarding the operation to r-recover the G-Great Rhydon and it is not good news, sir."

Well, maybe it is not so much a matter of leaving the RP as it is (temporarily) removing one character from the board. There is still the Team Gaia spy in Team Rocket, so there is potential for intrigue there.

« on: July 31, 2013, 07:36:13 PM »As I said I have no plans in this RP anymore and Sakura is not getting character growth in it. If I continue with it I would basically be forcing myself to keep going and that is a horrible idea.
I never really had a plan to begin with; just have Pyro go on a nonsensical quest and it feels like he is just hanger-on at this point. However, I never said I would never bring him back at a later time. Pyro is a character best designed to appear randomly and unexpectedly.

After all this talk, I am contemplating whether to withdrawal Pyro from the Pokemon RP because all the grimdark [parasitic bomb] going down and I feel that he is more and more out of place (plus, his quest is pretty much complete.) Rayquaza will probably be the bus he rides off on; it will not mean he will be completely gone, just not involved in the main storyline any meaningful sense. Though perhaps he will reappear to vex Giovanni on occasion.

Elsewhere, Rayquaza appeared in the skies over Kanto. Though the cloud cover provided a perfect camouflage for the legendary beast, it was visible to the Superia's sensors. The Sky High Pokemon roared and opened its mouth to fire a Hyper Beam at the ship. It struck one of the engines, which caused the Superbia to violently shake. Pyro did not seem to mind though, he simply continued to play his heavy metal concert.

AFRODOK screamed in pain as he galloped out of the Skull Fortress of Doom.
Meanwhile, it was rush hour at the First Municipal Bank of RPM, which was packed with over a hundred warm bodies because no one inside the building had ever heard of online banking. Py-Loki surreptitiously walks in and snickers as he approaches the back of the line to practice his voice mimicry skills.
"What'd ya mean the bank is outta money?"
"Insolvent!"
"They only have enough money for the next three and one third customers!"
The panicked crowd rushed towards the plexiglass barrier protecting the tellers and banged their fist against it. That is when a Jimmy Stewart impersonator appeared to address the crowd.
"J-J-J-J-Just a second here. No, No. I don't have your money here. It's in Bill's house and Fred's house."
One of the smarter patrons spoke, "Wait a minute! This is a cheap ripoff of 'the Simpsons!'"
"I don't know why but it makes me angry," said Fred who decked him in the face.
Bedlam erupted as the people inside the bank started to fight one another for no better reason. The brawl spilled out onto the street where it evolved into a full-fledged riot. Py-Loki whistled as he passed by and entered the Second Municipal Bank of RPM to lather, rinse, repeat.
(Let "Project Mayhem" begin for AFRODOK!

Py-Loki jammed a bunch of peanut butter cookies into the AFRODOK's maw before he perched him on its massive 'fro. He pointed his hockey stick in the direction of New RPM City.
