I like how my Safari gives out the Starter with probably the best ability ever.

I wonder why I have not seen any. All I get are [tornado fang]ing Floatzels and Bibarels.

Well, I have used Chlorophyll Venusaur and Solar Power Charizard with Drought Ninetales in B2W2 triples. It was like dropping hydrogen bombs on the enemy.

And a Solar Power Charizard is no slouch if you have a Drought Ninetales handy in doubles.

And Chlorophyll Venusaur is a beast!

I find it ironic that my Friend Safari is Ice-type for X considering my username. :P

Though Ghost-type for Y seems appropriate considering how Gengar is probably my signature Pokemon.

In one of the triple battles, you gain over 18000 exp for defeating all 3 Pokemon. At one point, I even got 24000 exp within one battle with Lucky Egg and some EXP O-Powers. XD

Is that the one with Audino AKA the EXP mother lode?

Dazzling Gleam was a suggested move to use at Le Wow, any others? I would not recommend Earthquake or Surf.

Just thought I would make things interesting by giving Sakura a reason to have a skirmish with Team Flora.

Meanwhile, in Petalburg Woods...

Several Team Flora grunts were loading up Pokeballs filled with Pokemon they poached into the back of a delivery van with the name "Sherwood Florist of Rustboro" painted on its side. With the expansion of the team's narcotics production, the need to catch Pokemon like Shroomish became more imperative. Thankfully for them, migrations also brought an abundance of other species like Weepinbell, Gloom, and Parasect. However, a certain Professor from Littleroot was getting dangerously close to their illicit operation.

I am Jace (named after a character I RP on another forum), and I was just trying to have some fun. You could have taken down half my team with psychic attacks. :P

Hm, I wonder if there is something wrong with me. I am not too enthusiastic about breeding previous generation Pokemon in XY because I already did a ton of it in Gen V. That, and I am probably going to hold off until I can import the Max I've Dittos I have waiting in Black.

Though if I can get my hands on some Imposor Dittos...

(Well, they are supposed to be comedic characters/chew toys :P)

The two stunners landed in a dumpster somewhere on the grounds of the prestigious University or Lilycove City. When they climbed out of trash receptacle, they looked around and appeared to forget that a Pangoro nearly launched them into orbit. The baby-faced one looked to his counterpart.

"Dude, Where's my Rhyhorn?"

"DUUUUUUUUUDE!" the scruffy blond Team Flora dealer replied, "That sound like the ULTIMATE high! Can you score us some?"

(Couldn't resist. 8D)

At an abandoned lumber camp in the forests between Mauville City and Lavaridge Town, Team Flora admin Veronica walked amongst the decrepit cabins and tents that housed her contingent of organization. Their orders were to simply wait to execute the next part of the Boss' plan, this is, until they received orders to kidnap the leader of the Lavaridge Gym who was rumored to have a rapport with legendary Pokemon from Johto to Kalos. Though the boss was not specific with her plan, Veronica assumed that it had something to do with Groudon given their proximity to Mount Chimney and the former Magma base housed inside the volcano. Most of the grunts were either performing their tasks, usually back-breaking labor to build the new drug processing facilities away from the prying Officer Jennies' eyes, or to stunned out of their minds to do anything useful other than scream out slogans and terrorize the public.

One grunt, whose vacant (and almost dead) gaze suggested that he was under psychic control, ran up to her and shouted, "Death to humans!" The standard greeting for their largely-brainwashed ranks.

"Go on," she said and fought the urge to punch him in the face.

"Team Bravo returned with the target, ma'am!" the mindless grunted reported, "They have him detained in the interrogation center."

"Very well," Veronica replied and dismissively shooed him with a gesture, "Go drown yourself in a stream, or something."

"YES MA'AM!" barked the grunt before running off to do as she ordered.

Given how human and drug trafficking are the organization's bread and butter other than, you know, omnicide, they could snatch another addict from the streets to take his place. Although the "consultant" that they brought in from Kanto (who the team kept in the dark about their goals) and the old codger of a scientist were invaluable. She headed to the mess with the half-collapsed roof where Team Bravo had the immortal boy tied to a chair. For reasons Veronica could not comprehend, Pyro did not even struggle, in fact, he seemed to be enjoying his captivity, if anything. He beamed at her.

"Ooh! I love musical chairs!"  8)

Veronica massaged her temples, "This is going to be a long interrogation."

Meanwhile, atop the Lilycove City Department Store, a pair of twenty-something men in Robin Hood uniforms approached Taylor. They did not appear scary or threatening, just the opposite, really. Both of them gave her a relaxed grin and a somewhat unfocused gaze as one of them pulled a plastic pouch full of yellow powder from the pocket of his tunic.

"Hey, Dudette," he said, oblivious to the looming Pangoro, "Wanna try some TASTY CHLOROPHYLL? We also got some FUNKY BRELOOM if you want to try something really wild!"

Just keep it mild please, I'm fine with it but don't go too far.

I will need to remember to keep my eye on the prize. Though I do not have a fully formed idea of how Team Flora plans to execute their goals but I know Groudon, Kyogre, and Rayquaza are likely to be part of it. And I am in support of evil DWII and Domino being involved with Team Flora as well.

Gengar floated behind Sakura for a couple seconds. Just to allay his worries for his trainer, the Gengar spun around, lolled out his massive tongue and made a face at the aides.

Meanwhile, on Route 110...

Music blared from the van's speakers while the Team Flora grunts inside sat with their teeth clenched and their fingers digging into their seats. Pyro was still rolling around the in the back and bouncing with the bumps on the bridge to Mauville.

"I got the eye of the Pyroar, a fighter, dancing through the fire
Cause I am a champion and you’re gonna hear me roar
Louder, louder than a Luxray
Cause I am a champion and you’re gonna hear me roar!
" he sang out, much to his captors' chagrin.

"Do we really haveta bring him to the boss?" one of them groused, "Let's just toss him into the ocean and be done with it."

"She sez we need him because legendaries appear wherever he goes," the head grunt snapped from the driver's seat, "If you don't like it, I'll turn the damn radio off!"

He reached over towards the dial to learn that the radio was, in fact, already turned off, "What the?! How is the music...?"

One of the particularly distressed grunt opened the door and accidentally forgot that they were on a bridge. He jumped over the rail and landed in the ocean with a gigantic "SPLASH!" only to turn that he was floating in the middle of a school of angry Tentacool.

"Oh [parasitic bomb]!"

Thought I should note that I do not believe Quickie killed the original Pokemon RP, it just kind of ended like a courtroom drama on TV and thus I started a new adventure in Hoenn.

That said, Team Flora just kidnapped Pyro but who will need rescuing, the immortal child or the saps that abducted him? 8D

The mention of TASTY CHLOROPHYLL in the Hoenn adventure thread gave me a pretty dark idea of where I want to go with Team Flora. Y'see, I drew inspiration from Team Flare in that Flora aims for the omnicide of the human species, but they are different in that their reasoning is that they see the human race as a cancer and that Pokemon and the planet are better off without them (also drawing inspiration from Team Plasma in wanting to separate humans and Pokemon, but then removing the human element altogether.) Their public face as a radical environment group is largely just a facade for their real goals.

However, most of their funding comes from drug and human trafficking. They are very creative with their accounting, though I suspect that there is a Officer Jenny(s) task force devoted to busting them. The irony in this is that many of these drugs are derived from Pokemon to collect their spores and powders to refine into narcotics. Pokemon like Parasect are often used to make medicines, but the drug trade, let us just say their treatment of Pokemon is very, very inhumane. To make matters worse, Flora often kidnaps and brainwashes people into their ranks using Psychic-types and forces them to take drugs to keep them addicted and loyal because who in their right mind would willing to join a group hellbent on mass murder/suicide?

Yeah, the minds behind Team Flora are hypocrites, but pragmatists. They are essentially a crazed death cult who cannot be reasoned with, so yeah, it is pretty dark...

...that said, I have this running gag where two Team Flora "stunners" (because Stun Spore makes a potent hallucinogen) named "Kooch" and "Shaun" wander Hoenn searching for their missing ride. I call it, "Dude, Where's my Wailord?" 8D

My Tyranitar's name is also Gojira!

Should I hazard a guess and assume you have a Blastoise named Gamera? 8D

Mr. Spook showed her Pyro's belt, and hastily recounted what had just happened. That some men dressed like Robin Hood and his merry men snatched Pyro and drove off towards Mauville City.

Mr. Spook: Gar gen gengar gen! GEN! Gengar...

The shadow Pokemon seemed very fearful for his trainer's safety, though he knew Pyro had gotten out of worse scrapes.

(TASTY CHLOROPHYLL? Sounds like a euphemism for Vileplume spores or something. 8D)

The denizens of Slateport were grateful to the immortal trainer/gym leader that saved the city from destruction. Enough for an ice cream vendor in the market place to offer Pyro two huge cones with all the flavors of the rainbow for the boy and his Gengar. Mr. Spook wrapped his tongue around his and swallowed it whole.

"Gar!" 8)

"Thank you!" Pyro said.

"No, thank you for saving my business and life," the vendor replied as he watched the boy trot off blissfully.

Pyro strolled towards the loading area of the market where there was nary a soul, save for the tunic clad grunts of Team Flora that laid in wait. Once the boy came within reach, they pulled a burlap sack over him, quickly tied him up, and carried him off into a waiting van. Pyro dropped his cone and the belt carrying his Pokeballs while remaining completely oblivious to his abduction.

"Yay!" he cheered as they tossed him into the back, "I'm going to a party!"

"Yeah," one of the grunts replied sarcastically, "We'll show you the time of your life, runt."

Mr. Spook floated after the van when it made its getaway but was not fast enough to pursue. He picked up Pyro's belt and melded with a nearby shadow to teleport himself to Littleroot Town where he burst into Professor Birch's lab and frantically flailed the belt.

"Gen gen gar, Gengar!"
