Disney needs to finish releasing their [parasitic bomb] on DVD. I'm still missing Darkwing Duck episodes, and for [tornado fang] sake put out Gargoyles!!

Greg Weisman cannot catch a break, eh?

Avatar left a bit of a sour taste in my mouth. It portrayed us pyros in a negative light. At first. :P

SatAM Sonic. My fondness for it is largely fueled by nostalgia but still pretty good considering the shows that preceded were not that good in terms of writing and animation (Captain N, the various Super Mario Bros. shows.)

Then again, we also got the Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog that was so bizarre, it bordered on the surreal.

Why are kids shows obsessed with being disgusting?

A general assumption that children are disgusting on the part of TV executives?

(I guess I roll for Sneaky?)

"Don't tell me what to do, you glorified protocol droid," Greedo grumbled before his attention turned to the splashing noise in the distance.

He quietly broke off and moved towards the source of the noise. The last thing he needed now was for guard or a custodian to stumble upon their little operation so he took his blaster out from its holster and stayed close to the walls and waited for the noise to get closer.

I tied the original Pyro up, tossed him in a closet, and took his place so many years ago...

...uh oh. Did I just let that slip? *Goes to get some more rope*

Except when you're not in the US or Canada. Then their shipping rates go up so much that it should be [tornado fang]ing illegal.

It could be duties, which I have to pay whenever I order something from the United States online.

So, Tim Curry is taking over as the voice of Palpatine since Ian Abercrombie's death.  This news is good, because Tim Curry is all kinds of awesome.  Toxic Love is like sex coming from his pipes.

Tim Curry is a boss, and Ian McDiarmidis coming to the Calgary Expo. Huzzah!

Defending the world from swarms of voracious gophers takes up too much of my free time. Damn things got tired of playing the part of God's whack-a-hole.

But how do you have time for comics, video games, and all that stuff? :P

I do not even give Starbucks the light of day especially when the non-coffee drinks they serve (e.g. orange juice and bottled water) are hideously expensive. I could just as easily grab a Minute Maid or a Dasani from the Shoppers Drug Mart across the parking lot for almost half the price. The only reason I bother to enter one is because it is where I can sit down whenever I visit the adjoining bookstore.

Awesome! And I just found my pics with Rob Pauslen and Jess Harnell (who is returning to Calgary and bringing Bob Bergen and Phil LaMarr with him.)

And Gail Simone was one of the nicest comic book writers I had the pleasure of meeting. Twice.

Well, it could be worse. So many people attended the last Calgary con, they had to call the fire department who forbade anyone outside from entering.

Using my mastery over the Chaos Force for thread necromancy, this thread LIVVVVVVVVVVES!

Anyway, I am in the market for some real estate. I want to start my own discotheque made out of indestructible cardboard where anyone can dance the night and part of the afternoon away! (Complete with strobelights and lasers!) We have a moose disc jockey and some kangaroo waiters to fulfill your every whim but play nice, General George S. Platyton and his platypus army will handle security so please do not sass the bouncer. Naturally, I will be there for the dancing contest. Outdance me on the floor and you will win a random prize from a pair of old gym socks to a gold nugget the size of a Buick.

So come one, come all to PYRO'S DISCO INFERNO!

How is that for a pitch?  óVó

Sometimes I tend to forget that Tara Strong has a huge rack to go along with her many awesome voices.

She's also still one of the nicest celebrities I've ever met!

I have yet to have had a bad encounter with a VA. Many of them are flat out hilarious; I remember attending a panel where they had Rob Paulsen, Jess Harnell, and Maurice LaMarche and it was a riot and I learned that Mr. Paulsen had a particular affinity for Calgary (the closet major city to where I live.)

Then there was that time Jim Cummings (Pete in many Disney productions, Dr. Robotnik in SatAM Sonic) nicknamed me Hagrid because of how I towered over him.  8D

I could not get close enough to Tara Strong to talk to her or get an autograph because of the Bronies. They multiply like rabbits!
