Besides, pup, who are you to call foul?  Your tactics exploit your affinity for small/flat stages such as Final Destination and Smashville.  Landmaster, Zero Laser, Plasma Wire, a starting stock of throwing items, and Sparkies are all extremely abusable under such circumstances, and grant far more leverage than they would on any level with decent variance to it.
