What's next? Furry man, Sonic Fan Character Woman or Gay couple Man?

I still haven't fought Burnerman as Mega because the instant-death napalm section is almost impossible to complete as him. Though, I'm not sure whether or not it's difficult to get to safety in time with Mega single-jump, or if I just suck too hard.

Wherever she got that steel cable, MegaRoll had better hope that it can support both her weight and Rock's.

* I could see Roll using that persona before becoming Gigawoman. It'd beat that tacky ornamental OVA armour, at any rate. (Original Megagirl sprites by cyberkid)

1490s, according to Wikipedia. Either way, Rock wants out.

What that old, crappy, unfinished fic of mine would've led to. This was completed before remembering that the fleshy bits of Shyna's Silhouette wing are red. >.>

The "Superhero" class is more like Yatterman if he was hammered for every waking hour of his life.

Normally, Mega, Link, Shyna, and Alucard are "freelancers" , but after mastering a new class, they can switch between it and other classes at any time (well, any time they can find Shyna's partner, Bug). The Superhero class grants them access to places that other classes can't go to (for various reasons, not just mobility).

Everyone's outfits were pulled from the 1970s; Mega's contains elements of Grandmaster Flash's "The Message" wardrobe.

"RS-Mega/Anyone"...that should be an oekaki meme. XD

I should have finished this a long time ago. :(

The CV: Aria of Sorrow schmucks, in poses taken from a game called Realms of Arkania III: Shadows Over Riva. At least they're not dead, as was implied in the original.

Quote
Drawn earlier this year; I intended to colour it, but that didn't happen.

I had an idea, some two years back, of a Chao growing into a humanoid. (Megaman was thrown in for size comparison) I doubt Sega would touch it.

Two characters salvaged from an ancient-ass "sketchbook" of mine (it's where that 1999/2000 scrap of Ash came from). Braddock, an artificial human (who may or may not have been that fourth PPG from that old, presumably lost comic of mine), stayed mostly the same, while Hristina was overhauled.

Braddock was some lab [dark hold]'s attempt at an artificial human not unlike the PPG; once it was clear that she had no extraordinary powers (she was twelve then), that [dark hold] decided to just strip her of her organs. Thankfully, others intervened and Braddock emancipated herself from the lab.

Hristina is a regular African-Norwegian girl that Braddock became friends with. She wants to travel the world once she's old enough and has the resources to do so, but isn't yet sure where to start.

One of my Government classmates asked me to draw something for her, and this is what I came up with.

I want to call him "Bara" (Japanese for "rose"), but it's also slang for "homosexual fellow" (which would make about as much sense as calling him "Yaoi"). :/

Quote
Armageddon, a.k.a. Clod (...seriously, Working Designs?), is one of the end-game bosses in Silhouette Mirage. Arma is a boy, a fact that I had difficulty accepting back then.

I haven't fought him yet, because the U.S. version of Silhouette Mirage is one of those games that hates you.

Quote
Since Rock fell asleep during it, Simon has to carry him home. That shouldn't be too hard.

Quote
No one can kill conversations faster than Protoman. Not that one was going to start in the first place.

*That last line is quoted from one of my classmates.

Quote
"I think I saw that at a car boot sale once."

"Who're you gonna dance with, Princess? Petey Piranha?"

In a school as large as Soul's, there are bound to be multiple roving gangs of assholes. White's is composed of herself, Platinum Berlitz, May, and their personal manservant Black. They're usually much nicer than this, but Soul's buttons are so much fun to push that they send the girls right into [dark hold] Mode(TM) around her. (Black, though spineless, never joins in) Soul would like nothing better than to banish them all to Dark Land.

* Soul's dress is taken from a guide to Super Mario Bros.--namely, its strange version of Peach.

Quote
After chasing the girls away, Soul vents about all the things they said about her, while her school buddies listen. Presumably, Queen Peach vetoed Soul's decision to ban White's group to Dark Land.

1334
Sorry; that kind of thing has become one of my RAEG triggers. I dunno, RS-MM doesn't look that ripped to me, at least not in comparison to, say, every male character Rob Liefeld has drawn, ever.

1335
Its true though. MMRS is really not too faithful to the the games at all. this one at least is, in the artistic direction.

Quoth TV Tropes:

Quote
# Shown Their Work: While the show isn't accurate by today's standards, Ruby Spears included several Robot Masters from the games with designs mostly unscathed, while there are exceptions (Air Man, Roll), the looks are usually quite accurate, sometimes they add a few design aspects, which either makes the designs better or worse. Sometimes they tend to miss story elements, but Mega Man's story isn't easily definable, they do seem fond of the franchise, though, as they voiced for the remake of the first game, as well as Maverick Hunter X.

Quote
#  They Just Didnt Care: Largely averted; Ruby Spears went out of their way to portray most of the characters fairly accurately. If you want to see a real example of this trope, look up Captain N The Game Master.

    * Fan Dumb often criticizes the show of this over not being accurate to the established Canon of Mega Man X or later Mega Man games. They forget too easily that, at the time the series ended, only two Mega Man X games were released. The episode Mega X was made mostly with research from the first game.

Whoever wrote that said it far better than I could. Now, can we please stop bashing the cartoon for "inaccuracies"? It was the mid-90s; it's not like they had a lot to work with.

Spent too much effort on it to justify scrapping it, so...

The first four doodles are the heroes with some added personal effects. Everything else are either fan-made or unused Silhouette Mirage characters.

* My Art teacher remarked that Alucard looked like a pirate, hence the hat. Now if only he didn't spend so much time in that coffin...

* Most of the fanchars are from some old attempt at an SM fanfic, "Deprogrammed Hope" (HOW ORIGINAL). It involved such madness as most of the baddies getting un-deleted and Shyna splitting into two entities because a gun that was given to her exploded. (Though the second scenario was only planned, not written) Hopefully, I'll be able to relocate that old SM art I did back in '05 before the year's over.

* I am disappoint that all my SM dorks end up looking human, except for the design given to Hasmallim04. :(

Quote
My frustration over not being able to find the files I wanted (they're apparently still on the XP, which is disconnected) led to this highly self-referential doodle.

The lady in back, Dusk Asmodi, is a rare Silhouette inventor (that honor usually going to the Mirages). She gave Shyna a gun early on in my very old, unfinished, and crappy SM fic; the logic was that whatever Shyna was sent to investigate might be resistant to both Silhouette and Mirage-attribute attacks.

The gun would have exploded and split Shyna into two beings for some reason--Shyna S. (all-Mirage and good) and Nera (all-Silhouette and evil). Shyna S. would have to team up with various un-deleted (for vague reasons) baddies in order to defeat Nera and become whole again.

It is worth noting that Dusk had no idea that the gun would violate the laws of logic. Neither did Shyna.

WHY DOES DB/Z/GT KEEP TRYING TO DRAW ME BACK IN. I THOUGHT I WAS DONE WITH IT. D:

Still, the idea of Bulma Briefs fixing up Protoman (originally Mega) couldn't go undrawn. And while I don't plan on completely crossing over MM with DB/Z/GT, I may keep Bulma and Capsule Corp.

Problem is, back when I threw ideas around for DB/Z/GT, I decided that everyone lived in a China/Hong Kong analogue. In NINE, China is very Communist as it is in real life. Either Bulma moved, or Proto's stuck.

Quote
And one...sor girl, I guess.

Originally, these jackasses--Roxas, Morcoome, Paigon, Burgess, and Pitas--were old DBZ characters of mine; they made up the Special Corp., one of King Cold's highest-ranking set of henchmen.

In NINE, they travel the galaxy looking for strong guys to fight, without the financial aid of a white-and-purple space lizardman.

In RADIX-Land, one fails upward.

On the plus side, they're not really evil anymore, and really do just want a good fight. On the downside, the removal of their DBZ armour led to their ridiculous wardrobes (though Paigon kept his arm warmers).

Pitas, the strongest, acts as the leader; Roxas, the lone lady, is second-in-command; Morcoome, Paigon, and Burgess are the next-strongest (in that order).

* I am very aware that the name "Roxas" is taken by Square; she was named by a friend of mine, and I really don't want to change it for that reason.

Even RS-Rock can't resist having a mancrush on Solid Snake. Otacon and Proto, on the other hand, were not amused.

Some people at PRC (dunno if it's just the one now; I haven't checked the comments) believe that a Megaman MMO will kill the franchise and all other associated MM franchises. That's...kind of a stretch.

I think the easiest way to go about it is to make it browser-based; that way, more people will have exposure/access to it.

Also, Mr. GoldenAndSilver, turn on your sarcasm detectors if you haven't already.

I have a lot of ideas, but you don't see me begging someone to program them for me. Mostly because my interest in my own projects varies, and any other project I associate myself with inevitably peters out.

[Bad day at work;] Proto can relate.

Protowoman says she doesn't mean any harm, but Megawoman doesn't care 'cuz last time she was practically molested. Oh, and her hair is darker now.

Quote
And the little boy wearing it was noticed by the fashion police. RUN MEGA RUN

Tried out some watercolours on the cards I draw on; since the paper's water-based, it actually looked alright and not like giant blotches of rainbow mold.

Quote
An art project from earlier this year; what Mega's wearing eventually became the Prismatic Armour.

Quote
Another earlier-2010 art project, as are the next two pics. This time, what Wuxa might have worn had he not vanished from the island years ago.

Quote
Unlike the last two projects, this one didn't scan very well--it was larger than the mighty scanner. My attempt at reconstructing it is slightly crap. :(

I don't think Allan being Nathan's descendant would be too much of a stretch.

Quote
Reconstructing and cleaning up this son of a [sonic slicer] was a nightmare. And it's still not perfect. D: Oh well.

I'm very proud of this picture, if only because it's the closest I've ever come to replicating the style of the FF logos. The letters had to be projected onto the paper and traced, but only so they'd be accurate.

Making up the non-letter part of the logo are Mario, Megaman, and Simon. I drew them in pencil, then used Friskett to cover the lineart; the rest is watercolours. (This also led to my decision to only used three schmucks out of all the other guys I drew)

It's late. @_@

* Yelling at gnats was also suggested by *kittykat1313meow.

* Cel is talking about side effects from the meds, not whatever Rock caught. Should've worded it better.

* Rock's line in scenario three was paraphrased from one of Spoony's videos. Sorry, man. :(

Just keep believing that, Teiko.

I was flipping through my '09 school sketches when I happened upon a thumbnail of a character labeled "syndicate boss's daughter". Having forgotten about her, now seemed like as good a time as any to draw her again.

Teiko's position in her father's "company" bores her--she's more or less kicked upstairs--so she frequently sneaks away. Her father apparently doesn't care, but there are others who do, and Teiko has made a game out of evading them for as long as possible. Pity she didn't inform Megaman and X about that.

Quote
Oh, and there's a mini-Proto in there somewhere. (This was vaguely inspired by an image in the Princess Ai manga, only less pimped out)

Quote
"...Hi there..."

*Awkward silence.*

Indeed he does, Proto.

Continued from the first "Six Swans" pic; Ran would snark about this if speaking didn't mean screwing her brothers over.

Well, horizontal would just look wrong...er. XD

Possibly my oldest scrap yet.

Quote
Ah yes, a character that materialized out of nowhere too late at night to draw until the next morning. :/

Perru (originally called "Peru" until I remembered that it's a country--I was mentally pronouncing it differently) used to be a rather popular singer, debuting in 2008. While she was better at her job than some other pop starlets, Perru deeply resented the way her managers and her "fans" thought of and treated her. When in public, she dressed much differently than on stage; this didn't stop some people from recognizing her.

She met Roll while Rock was in an MM2-induced coma, but the two didn't hang around much.

Now that the Vocaloids have gained ground, Perru has been seeing significantly less tours--not that she minds.

Quote
Kei is like Genesis and Cel in that she was adopted into the Light family. The alternative was handing her back to her creators, who would shut her back down.

Kei was originally an undifferentiated girlbot. Someone activated her with only minimal functionality as a joke, and she soon wandered away from them. Kei was found by one of the Lights, who insisted on keeping her. (Probably Mega or Dub) Dr. Light quickly brought her up to full functionality.

It didn't take long for Kei to get comfortably at the Light household, though she's still having a hard time endearing herself to most of the older 'bots. Her existing utility, spraying supercooled air from the holes in her hands, was converted into something similar to the Ice Slasher, so that she wouldn't feel useless (she did much of the weaponizing herself).

Kei spends most of her time around Genesis, as he's a fellow newb.

Quote
Well, there wasn't enough room on Proto's pathetic excuse of a bed for all three of them (and Tango) to sleep comfortably (which is taken in the loosest sense of the word anyway).

Not that the Robot Master who barges in to wake them up will believe that.

(paraphrased)
Rie: Aw, Proto has a harem. :3
Me: ...I think you need more than two people for a harem.
Rie: It's a start.

Quote
And two false Oracles, down at the bottom.

This was drawn after noticing (or maybe re-noticing; my memory is stodgy) that the four canon Oracles (Nayru, Din, Farore, and Zelda) formed a sorta-rainbow. The two fellows standing next to Zelda were created to fill in the two missing slots (not counting indigo).

The mostly-orange-clad one, Yamin, is the blind Oracle of Realms (a.k.a. the various universes MM NINE is parallel to), who resides in Tolemac. Jarudi is the Oracle of Sands (that is, she lives in a vast desert); accompanying her is the spirit of her country's long-dead Maku Tree. (He prefers not to be called the "Maku Fairy".) Hypnos and Erebos aren't proper Oracles, but only Hypnos claims to be a true one.

Maybe someday I'll get off my lazy arse, learn how to use Zelda Classic, and make Oracle of Secrets. But that's a big "maybe".

Quote
God knows how they (especially Proto) got into the X-Men, but they've got the spandex to prove it. Roll just wants Proto to remove his hand from her shoulder.

Quote
Hsien-Ko does want. Mega is not sure if want. Because she's, y'know, dead. And those weapons in her sleeves must hurt.

Quote
Hsien-Ko wasn't the only Darkstalker to notice Megaman. Unfortunately, Morrigan did more than hug him. Worse, she decides that she likes using Mega's body and won't return him, and you can't get 20 to life in the Makai Realm.

* That pose was unsuccessfully copied from one of Morrigan's victory portraits. I say "unsuccessfully" because it looks like Mega is, once again, bending in ways he shouldn't.

Quote
"If Rock became a Darkstalker, then I must become a greater Darkstalker!"

Well, pseudo-Darkstalker.

Roll, not taking her brother's abduction lying down, chased him/Morrigan into the Makai Realm after relocating the things she was given while at the Blackstar clan (~lilirulu's dudes). All that remains now is determining how to separate the succubus from Rock without killing him.

* Roll was originally going to be a "mechanical fairy", but then I noticed it might make her too similar to Q-Bee.

I couldn't think of a better title. Sorry. ;_;

~RandyPandy wanted me to draw Rock, Copy-Rock (brown hair and red eyes specifically), Quint, and M-Shadow; what they were doing was up to me. After being stumped for a while, I settled on "wearing Korean clothing". Rock is wearing a male hanbok; Copy-Rock, a magoja; and M-Shadow, a saekdongot. Quint ended up with a school uniform, much to his disappointment.

* Rock's hanbok was referenced from a photo of Amber (of K-pop band f(x) ) wearing one.

Quote
I should've finished this a long time ago, but a combination of getting stumped and laziness delayed its completion. :( Honestly, it didn't seem like there was much to do with the MM7 guys, and the same might go with MM8.

However, Mega won't be in the mood to do any partying until he finds some pants.

The only plausible explanation I can think of for his turning into Megawolf, Megabat, and Megadragon is that Genya Arikado/Alucard was badly injured, dragged himself to the nearest house (Mega's) to recuperate (presumably because the hospitals would notice that he's a dhamphyr), and asks Mega to go and recover some equipment he lost--the Souls of Wolf, Bat, and Dragon (guess he ditched the mist form) being among them. Doesn't explain why Mega's only wearing a shirt and striped leggings.

Naturally, while my lady friends thought it was cute, my guy friends did not.
