I didn't want to go the "turn the less humanoid RM into a loli" route... ;_;

Yep, even them.
With the exception of Enka, everyone is based on their Nintendo Power portrayals (I don't believe Enker ever got one).
Quintet is something of a special case: Rather than being a future Mega(wo)man, she was a prototype of Quint from Megaman's Alternative universe. Alberta Wily discovered and activated her sometime before M-Shadow's rampage. Quintet was fairly incomplete, so Alberta "borrowed" a few components from Megawoman in the hopes that they'd be compatible. They were, but Quintet still failed to defeat MW. Not like her "sisters" had any luck, either.
How about we never speak of him again?

~MegaManModelT101 requested that I draw Megaman, Sonic, Lucia (Psycho/Psychic World), and Nei standing together against a rocky backdrop; this is the result.
The background is Roger Dean-inspired, though it doesn't look nearly as good as any of his paintings. >.>
8.) Chill and Comet: This one unfortunately you got wrong... They're both Ice Based Robot Masters!
Ra THOOOORRRRR
that people can play as their favorite mega man,

A few days ago, ~EveHilson asked me to draw her as a Megaman character. Since she's a big fan of Kisame (the shark guy from Naruto), I settled on making her a Sharkwoman. Hope you like it, Maggy.

You can thank *lizsama for requesting this, and for your subsequent nightmares.
This is but one way that Hexadecimal goes about breaking Rock--the other way being all those scratches on his body. Hex is effed up.
...you know, Rock, all you have to do is yank her mask off. Hopefully.

And now for this schmuck.
"Dr. Higure, otherwise nicknamed "Dr. Higsby" by most people, is pretty much the punching bag of the scientific community. He is poorly-prepared, has a lack of confidence, and is mocked for his ridiculous-looking creations, such as Stat Man, Call Man, Disc Man and Sling Man.
It doesn't help that he has a crush on [Machina] Cossack, who (gracefully) rejected his request for a date in high school.
Naturally, Dr. Wily would certainly "help" solve his problems..."
* If those RMs don't look like RMs, then I have succeeded in what I was going for.
;
but at the same time Zero, having his armor damaged in the battle with Sigma, also becomes infected with the virus.
As Gonzo is unfamiliar with the Three Keys, Zan, you should probably point out that Three Keys carried the caution that it was concept info and may not be canonical (Udon allegedly chose a more definitive translation figuring that the disclaimer would be enough). Zero-series concept includes such things as the original X being the villain, so while Three Keys offered some valuable developer insight, it was NEVER meant to be taken without a shaker of salt in either region.
I don't remember anything of the sort,
fan translations never really 'added' to the confusion that is the X-series. That series is first and foremost hard to decipher because of the way Capcom of Japan made it, secondly because of the way Capcom of America localized it.
No, "accurate" translations are what's definitive. Regardless of whether they're produced by fans or Capcom. Notice that nobody is complaining about the parts of the game script that are accurately translated. Case in point, there's preciously little complaining about the localization of ZERO and ZX, aside from voice acting.

Yep, there's a copy in the MW universe, too. And unlike Torin, who flew the coop, this Copywoman (dubbed Tori...yeah, I know. Lame) sticks with Wily. And DAAAAMN that's a lot of hair.

I dunno if Megawoman would actually meet all these people, but this was fun to draw nonetheless.
From left to right: Sonic, Kirby, Simone Belmont, Maria, Ulala, Megawoman, Anilucard, Link, the Skyward Sword, and Samus.
* Kirby simply got a bow. Guy was already pink. >.>
* Sonic got some wavy quills and eyelashes. Wonder how they'd arc if she went Super Sonic?
* Simone's design comes from various renditions of Simon, plus Sonia's gauntlets.
* I had already gender-bendered Mario in the past, so that wasn't too hard.
* Same goes for Ulala.
* Anilucard's design was influenced by one from another game(?), "Vampire Hurts". I swear, I thought that one of the guys in there was Alucard for a brief moment.
* Link's design didn't change much; neither did the Skyward Sword's. The latter is apparently genderless, but...
* Samus's green hair and pink armour were influenced by one of the colour schemes Justin Bailey Samus has in M1, and by 80s Fashion Vomit.

Ah, gigantic group shots. How much time you remove from my day.
With the exception of the canonical PPGs, all of the characters depicted belong to either :devArmyNoGreenBara: a.k.a. ~Celly-PPG-95-98 and her friends. (All of my references came from the latter account) I waited until she gave the okay before going through with this.
* Let's assume that in NINE (also assuming that this pic pertains to it), Professor Utonium oversaw Bunny's creation and that no substitutes were used.
* Everyone's names are on those slips of paper; a couple (Beauty and Balloon's) had to be altered in Photoshop because fine Sharpies aren't compatible with my tiny handwriting.
* Poor Balto got sandwiched in-between the 11-year-old filthy rich model and the obnoxious party girl.
* Balloons is supposed to wear magenta; naturally, the scanner made it look like I'd intentionally swapped her and Blossom's colours. D'oh. >.>
MMOCW/MMXOCW may be primarilly art books, but there's still a *LOT* of behind-the-scenes info regarding developer intentions and design inspiration. Also some character descriptions that clarify previously ambiguous/unclear points, including specifying that Iris had the hots for Zero during Erasure (previous translations stated that in the context of saving her life, thus implying their relationship as new to the Repliforce War; this is not actually the case).
We've established, when you previously granted genuine translation errors, that Xtreme2 does not take place in a bathroom, correct? In what way is the Reploid Research Lavatory more difficult to reference than any legitimate setting?
CD #066
?????? Quint
A robot Dr. Wily made from the future. His weapon is the Sakugarne.
"Your life ends here!"
Good Point: Can predict and see the future
Bad Point: Extremely punctual and easily confused when falls of his time routine
Likes: Digging holes for traps
Dislikes: Time Paradox
[translated by Mega Boy]
what?
Dunno bout that.

I want to know the story, not the localization team's own fanwank that they insert into the story.
