However, there's some manly too. Like Jeremiah and EMPEROR WAKAMOTO.

btw. Younger Wakamoto looked still as manly as ever. I wish we have seen more of that, not just one short scene.

So, there is a tune I like, and I'm wondering if it's available somewhere.

The tune is from Maverick Hunter/Irregular Hunter X. Namely from animated ending of Vava Mode. It plays in the scene where he talks with Sigma and then ceases function. It's such a nice song, is it on a OST somewhere? Or a fan rip, or something? Because I kind of had no luck finding it.

(lol another thread where I request something, I should probably make a discussion topic or something.  : P)

The fic right before the mmx fic was wierd, I didn't get it much, So I can't properly review it. :/

The thing with that one was, that it wasn't a fic but an "original" story parodying shitty stories about dem chosen ones.
It was also based a bit on a story my friend Norvel wrote once upon a time(which wasn't really THAT bad, it's just that there was so many cliche things, that you could almost choke on them).

Anyway, here i bring you a Rockman.EXE fanfic, set in no particular universe. Let's say it's my own universe that takes inspiration from games, manga and animu.
Tough you won't learn much about it, since it's only a prologue, and I wrote it quite long time ago. To see if I can write something in english. Anyway, here you go.
If I get positive feedback, and see that you guys like it, I might write more. Anyway, HERE IT IS:

Net Navi War

Prologue: It all begins…

Forte was hovering over the Internet City. It was a breath of fresh “air” for him, seeing as he always lurks in the shadows of the Undernet. But he didn’t leave that place just because he was bored of it, oh no. He left because he wanted to fight with Rockman once again.

Rockman is a Navi who relies on his human operator, on the other hand, Forte is a Solo Navigator who relies on nothing more than his own strength. He also despises humans.

They both are rivals. Forte sees only Rockman as his equal, even tough their powers come from completely different things. Forte is fueled by his rage and hatred, while Rockman’s power comes from friendship and unity.

While he was floating above the net city, he couldn’t help but notice how happy all the Navis down there were. They were smiling, laughing and clearly having a great time. Then, he noticed that some Navis in a alley were assaulting some girl Navi. The Evil Navis looked like typical Undernet Navis, but the girl was quite beautiful. She has long white silver hair and white dress typical for girl navi. Such girls were rare sight in the Undernet, but here, in the normal part of the net, they were quite common.

For some reason, instead of ignoring her, he decided to help her. He quickly landed in the alley. The girl was too “busy” being scared for her life, and evil navis were too busy scaring her, so they didn’t even noticed when Forte appeared.

- “Hey, you two.” – Said Forte calmly, and both evil navis turned around to him. - “Aren’t you two pathetic. Ganging up in two on a one weak girl? Such scum like you is barely even worth being an addition to my tremendous power.

-“What? Who the hell are you, fin-head? This gal here stole something from us, so we just want to have it ba…GUARRGH!”

Forte pierced the biggest navi with his sword, the big one collapsed and Forte started punching and kicking the second navi. After a while, the second one collapsed too and Forte crushed his head under his foot.

-“Thank…thank you so much for saving me!” – Said the girl happily. – “How can I repay you?”

-“Did you really steal something from them?” – Asked Forte giving the girl a cold stare.

-“Oh goodness, NO! They were lying! I could never steal from anybody!”

-“Better go back to your PET and operator.” – He said as he started to walk away.

-“My name is HE! What’s yours?”

-“Forte.” – He said, before flying up high into the sky above net city.

-“Forte…yesss.” – The girl muttered to herself – “He should be an ideal pawn for Hate Eternal. Yesss.”

Aside from being the "leader" OTBKs, he also tied relations by having a child with a brittanian Noble.

And even though he was a douchbag and seemed like a Moron, Like Rossiue, was for the most part intelligent.

Sure, there are some FAQs that help, but still. It's like playing Gyakuten Kenji with a translation guide. Not worth it.

Just out of curiosity, does anyone have some good Legends wallpapers. If some widescreen ones have been made by anyone that would be even more awesome. Typically it seems any I find are grainy or low resolution (1024x768 or lower).

Dude, you're like, asking for impossible. Sure, there might be a few , but good luck on finding them. I looked for them once upon a time too, to no avail. This time I looked too... only small wallpapers.
However, I didn't give DA an exact look. They often make wallpapers there, and someone just might have made an Megaman Legends wp with high enough resolution.

You use 16-bit, 24-bit or 32-bit Color Quality in your monitor settings?

There's only option for 32-bit and 16-bit.
Out of those two I'm using 32-bit.

Can you change recording program? Being limited to windowed mode seems dumb.

I mean, I CAN record at full screen. But the game goes into slow motion then. Because my computer is not-so powerful. I use ZD Soft Game Recorder.

Sure, I could try something else, but this one is quite good, and rarely let me down. If only you could at least change the resolution.

Rockman Series / Help with PC version of X6 needed

So, I got ahold of X6 for PC. Sure it's in Korean, but at least it does not require me to play with an emu.

The thing is, I want to record some Let's Play, but, I will not be able to do that unless I play this in Window Mode.
The thing is, I KNOW how to enable the window mode, but the problem lays in the fact that whenever I switch to Window Mode, the colors in the game get screwed up, half the screen shows the game, second half some glitchy graphics.

Can I somehow fix that? Or am I screwed?

Also, is there any possible way to change langugage of the game to english? I know all the files from installed PC Version, match the ones from PSX version. You can easily change them. The thing is, there's one file that does not exist in the PC version, and that's where the translated text is. ROCK_X6.BIN. The text in the PC version, is from what I know stored in the EXE. So is there any way to change the script around, or is it a foolish fool's dream?

Ho, ho. Mr. Nitpicker strikes again.
What I meant by "it doesn't count" is that it's not supposed to be included in the "no retconning death" thing. Because it was a failure. If everything went JUST AS PLANNED, for Taniguchi, then maybe even if Guilford(along with Nunnally and Sayoko) would be in a similar or the same situation, it would probably be actually properly explained, as in, how they [tornado fang]ing survived. Possibly. I like to believe this,

Anyway. I played this game, and beat it using Forte. I was helping myself with a guide from gamesfaq. You guys might check that out if you want to play.
Then I played with my friend using no$gba, few times from the beginning. I was using Plantman, he favors fire, so Fireman.

It was awesome.

Indeed. Then again, officially, Batman is also dead, but we all know he'll come back eventually.

So, for now let's just go with "dead until further notice".

Except, Lelouch is NOT a superhero from American Comics(Tough he certainly dresses like one). Anime usually very rarely retcons death(if they are seinen, that is). R2 doesn't count, it was a failure.

Tough I wouldn't put it past Sunrise to bring him back. EVERYTHING IS POSSIBLE.

I absolutely love the way Code Geass brought characters back from the dead so much that someone can take a sword right through his spine on camera and people still don't believe he died.
And people claim it's a good show.

I know there's a thread about a PW game(namely the one about Edgey), but let's keep there only talk about that game, while here we can discuss the whole series in general.

Today at 2 AM, I've finished Trials & Tribulations, and near the ending of the last case(when we learn Godot's story) I had to hold the tears in, or I would start crying like a [sonic slicer]. The overall ending of that last case was so...so... MOVING, that when they showed pictures of Phoenix and his crew, and then Mia and Godot... I just... BAWWWW.

It was a really great experience. I would never expected the tears. Did anyone else felt the same way, or am I just a pussy?

Supposedly a REAL script of the movie got leaked.

And guess what?

IT SUCKS ASS!

LOL LIGHT(Luke) WAS TURNED EVIL BY THE DEATH NOTE.

AT THE END HE TURNS GOOD AGAIN, AND TRIES TO REDEEM HIMSELF BY GOING TO LAW SCHOOL.

OH AND THERE'S NO RYUK... nor any Shinigami.

Also, both SHINIGAMI and KIRA are ANCIENT JAPANESE WORDS that you can't even find what they mean on the net.

Need I say more?
