As far as recommendations go... I suggest the Eighth Doctor series.  It's a serial, so it'd be best to start at the beginning.  Though, for a Dalek fix, Blood of the Daleks is a really good Eighth Doctor stand-alone episode that also explains how Lucy Miller became his companion.  A good creepy Eighth Doctor episode with Charlie as his companion is Embrace the Darkness.  Great to listen to at night.
Blood of the Daleks? Holy [parasitic bomb]. Gotta find it. : D
Thanks.

As for the new series, yeah. We have not seen the dude in action... yet. This makes me even more nervous, because I'm afraid the more I wait to see what's the guy like, the more I'm afraid I'll just not like him. Meh, who knows. He might be good.

Anyway, I wonder if Daleks will return in this series, and if they do, what kind of silly explanation of this they'll give us. : D

I listen to the audio adventures and I definitely recommend those.  Big Finish Productions does several series featuring the Fifth, Sixth, Seventh, and Eighth Doctors.  I'm a fan of the Eighth Doctor series, Paul McGann is a great Doctor.
Okay, I will check dat stuff out.
Which of those are the most worth checking out?

Also, tell me. What do you think the new season will be like? They are changing many things.
I for one, weep, because David Tennant will not be The Doctor anymore. I love this guy... in fact, I'm gay for him. ;_;

So, who watches this? I've got into it not so long ago, and seen mostly the new series.
Tough, recently I've watched one of the classic stories, "Rememberance of the Daleks". It was friggin' awesome.
I though it was funny, during the talk with Davros scene, Davros kept pronoucing "Doctor" differently. "DOKTERRRR" : D

Can someone recommend me, what should I check out? Some books? Maybe Audiobooks?

Anyway, Doctor Who GENERAL thread:

« on: November 03, 2009, 07:07:45 AM »
Hello.
I come here with a certain strange question.

Do you people know any sceince-fiction games, that have nice science-fiction like osts? I mean, something, that can put me in the right s-f inspirational mood.
I'm writing something, trying out something new, and I want to listen to some nice stuffs.

Of course, if you can, you can also tell me what movie or tv show has good s-f soundtracks.

To be more precise, I'm looking for something kinda electronic... but not completely LOL TECHNO(tough that wouldn't be too bad, as long as it's epic). Maybe an orchestral sound mixed with electronic/techno? Yeah, something like that. Some choirs? Why not?

Help?

Do I think if they'll use the same voices... what? The world will end? Assuming that was the rest of your question, no.
[statingtheobvious]I think he meant: "Do you think they will use the same voices?"[/statingtheobvious]

Can I compare MM1 with MM6 instead?
He clearly stated, that he wants us to compare 2 and 3.

Why
It's not that, I just don't like the instruments. What's wrong with real music at this point anyway? How about a guitar & bass, with some nice drums, maybe?
Why? Because it looks awesome. I can't really say it... it just looks good on her.

Well, I got used to those instruments. They suit Pokemon. When I think "Pokemon music", I think of this kind of music.
Tough, yeah. It wouldn't be bad if they used some MORE real instruments.

3839
My friend got in on my M3 he's currently borrowing because my DS is broken because Nintendo make hardware quite like they used to, so I got to see like the opening & hear some music.

What's with the chick's retarded hat? It's like a bad trip of Ruby's stupid hat.

I like the hat. D :

The battle music sucks. It's all happy go lucky like Diamond & Pearl, which I'm a little sick of.
OH SURE. NINTENDO SHOULD TOTALLY PUT IN SOME GRIMDARK MUSIC. SOME BLACK METAL MAYBE?

Meh, it's not that bad. Actually, better than D&P. Still, most of the other battle themes are awesome.
/v/ are [Top Spin]s for complaining about the music.

There should be FEW translations on GBATemp forum, in the NDS Hacking & Translation section.

I don't have pictures, cuz' I do not own a camera.
Or wait, I used dad's cellphone camera to take some shitty pictures of animu I have.

This here, from left to right:
Grenadier DVD 1, Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust and Ergo Proxy DVD 1.

Trinity Blood DVD 1 + BOX, Devil May Cry DVD 1 + BOX, Negima?! DVD BOX 1.

As you guys can see, I simply can't exceed the number one of the animu I buy. Tough I plan to buy whole series of Geass, when it comes out here in Poland... and that will be next month probably... as in, the first DVD. : >

Everything. Magic, weapon upgrades, abilities, items, level ups, mobility, etc.

Also, I'd recommend actually playing through the game. A few warnings though:
-Starts SLOW
-Tutorials (the only thing the CO guys were in the story for)
-Lots of ice cream.
Oh, I see. Gonna go try it now. Maybe I'll even play through...

complex story and plot twists

akin to that of shows like Gargoyles or Batman

Anyway, Tamaki was... well, he was OBVIOUSLY comic relief. Tough it would have been a lot funnier seeing him die... along with Jewgi and Niggetta.

Did you even customize your panels and stuff?
No.
I just went on few missions, completed them, got bored and left. As in, with the downloaded FULL 100% save file. I might yet try to go through the game myself... but... after this... I cannot really say I want to.
What does this whole panel customization do? Does it help?

You can only play with the rest of the Organization in mission mode. That and you only have one mission with each of the members that go to Castle Oblivion before they are sent to die.
WHAT?!

Also, it turns out I had a downloaded save file. So I tried mission mode, and did play as Vexen.

..........

This game is [tornado fang]ing boring. Even playing as Vexen, Useless and Mansex did not help. I dunno how should I feel about this.

I can't even be bothered to play it.

...............

Hmm... I just might do it now.

Will be back later with a little review. I sure [tornado fang]ing hope, I can play as Vexen in story mode.
