Anyway, something BlazBlue related.

Celica (a character from the BB novels) who fell in love with Ragna (who went back in time, lost his memory, and you know, sacrificed himself to protect Jubei and buy time for The Six Heroes to win the war against The Black Beast).

As for Celica, she fell in love with him, and then went on to wait rest of her life in hope of possibly reuniting with him.
She started a church, where small Ragna (from the present, not the one from the past), Jin and Saya lived. Then Terumi happened, killed her and you know the rest of the story.

That's not what I meant.

I meant... that everybody who knows Castlevania, knows this line. EVERYBODY. Even if they don't know much, they know it.
And everybody spams it all over. EVERYWHERE.

Last thing I want, is that line in another Castlevania game. Be it a reboot or not.

It's just a "Thing" they are doing to gather stupid bags of nerd flesh to buy their [parasitic bomb].
"LOOK! IT'S THE CLASSIC LINE DO YOU LIKE IT THEN BUY OUR GAME NOW!"
Which from a commercial standpoint, seems like a good idea. And it actually is.

But I just... no. I don't want to hear it again. It's like in Transformers Prime, where the only thing that annoys me about it, is that they drop "classic lines" such as "darkest hour" ""One shall stand, one shall fall" et cetera like it's [tornado fang]ing nothing.

Now, if they just put that line somewhere in the game, but in a way not so blatant. Like, I dunno, writing on a wall.
That's alright with me.

But what they did here, just pisses me off.

You cant seriously be surprised, it's a fan favorite. How could they NOT use it in a rebooted AU?

Because it's overused.

I've just realised that the USA version of Layton & Miracle Mask, has quite glaring differences in dialogue. I mean, I watched some cutscenes, and the first and most glaring one was when...

During the last cutscene, where Descole gets his [parasitic bomb] pummeled by the leader of Targent.
When the Targent leader walks out of his car, he says: "Perfect weather for world domination" or something. In the original japanese (which I watched now) he says: "These ruins are now under control of Targent. To keep all of this a secret, you (meaning Descole and his butler) shall disappear (the word also might be "die", instead. I'm too lazy to check now.).

The funny thing is.he does say that the ruins are under their control now in american version, but because of that cheesy "world domination" crap, there was no place for the last part. You know, where he says he's going to kill Descole and his butler.

There's more changes, in this cutscene alone.

Descole - Japanese ver: "So they've finally shown themselves."

Descole - Murrika ver: "These cowards are not in charge here."

There were some other changes too, but they technically got the point across in both versions.

Still, in the murrika version, you might get the feeling that Descole doesn't know what Targent is. Even though he does say: "And you disgust me with your demented world view." (He seems to say something different there in japanese, but I would need to check dictionary to fully understand it so whatever.)
However in the japanese one, from how the dialogue is built, it shows he knows exactly what they are, and that he despises them.
In fact, I wouldn't even mind the changes that much, if not for that "world domination" thing. [tornado fang].

Kharaxel, who, because of his horribly horrible sense of direction, got lost again, wandered on and on through the corridors of SexStation.

Kharaxel - "Fuuu...I actually got lost again... huh?"

And then, he noticed a girl and someone who clearly looked like PB. In something that looks like a fight. The girl put handcufs on him, and called him a "lousy fake".

??? - "Interesting."

Kharaxel heard a familiar voice in his head. It was quite evil, and oozed with malice. Cold sweat began running down his face... the voice was his.

??? - "Oh? You're sweating like a filthy pig, me. Try to at least act cooler, now that our oppurtunity arised."

Kharaxel - Tron... I am not interested in whatever...

Tron - "Oh c'mon. I am you, and you are me. We are a part of the same coin. You stupidly chose to side with the rebels. But now, listen to what they are talking about..."


It would seem, the girl was communicating with someone. Who sounded like... another PB.

PB - "Second in Command Sakura do you read me?"

Sakura - "I read you loud and clear commander PB."

PB - "Good we have a situation, out plans were leaked and Wily II was prepared for us."

Fake PB - "The plans were leaked already, I thought I was supposed to leak them."


Kharaxel made a surprised face. Not only was there two Protomen of Blues now, but it seems somebody leaked the plans of the resistance's attack.

Kharaxel - "What the hell..."

Tron - "If I were to wager a guess, it seems like somebody aboard this stupid place spilled the beans to Wily II. But don't take your word for it."

Kharaxel - "Then I should help find that person. It can be my first achievement for the cause!"

Tron chuckled.

Tron - "Yes, yes. Go and find him. And it seems the fake and the girl called Sakura are going too. I suggest you find him before they do."

Kharaxel - "But it would be better if I went with them. They know the place and people, I don't."

Tron - "Then follow them, but don't let yourself be caught... otherwise they might assume it's you who betrayed them."

Kharaxel - "Oh God no."

And as such, Kharaxel began following Sakura and Fake PB, trying his best to not be noticed. His darker self went silent, much to Kharaxel's relief.

Continuing this Sonic discussion, last night I found a Shadow the Hedgehog ISO and decided to download it. I was always doubtful that Sega could get worse than Sonic 06. I was wrong. 

How is Sonic CD? I've only played the first two, Advance, and the Rush games in terms of 2D Sonic.

I would have explained to you that SHtH is something you should avoid. And then your life would surely have been happier.

Also, played SA2 PC. Despite the fact the game runs much better than on any emu, I still believe it [tornado fang]ing sucks and should have never been made.
SA/SADX was so much better, even despite its bugs. And fishing.

Kharaxel - "Thank you for the compliment. And nice to meet you, good sir. I am Kharaxel, and I've been sent on a mission, kind of, to relay upon you a message. It's called "The Clang Clang Prophecy", and has been prohpesized by my old friend and mentor, Mister Wildgun. Although some consider it just simple delirium, whenenver he gets absolutely drunk, he has prophetic visions... as silly as it sounds. Before this Civil War erupted, he prophesized it. And now it looks like, a new prophecy concerning you came up. It goes as follows.

Kharaxel - *Cleans throat* "In the midst of a Civil War, the brave warrior Protoman of Blues shall fall in battle. However he will mysteriously return, like the phoenix rising from the ashes. He will proceed to make love to many women immediately, but they all shall turn to mechanisms and the conflict shall be put to an end, through the rule of a Robotic Tyrant."

Kharaxel - "Well that's more or less it. I hope you can believe me, though I'm unsure what everything in the prophecy means."

Kharaxel looked back at PB, expecting laughter. After all, anybody would laugh at something as silly, as a drunk man telling prophecies.
