The be perfectly honest, me and my friend were recently working on a "Rockman clone" game, with a lot of our own elements.
And by working, I mean that we gave up somewhere after designing the main character and some brainstorming about the world and plot. Well and the gameplay mechanics too, we had them outlined.
I even suggested we post here something ONCE we have something to show.
But alas, it ended how it ended.
What I'm trying to say is, if you want to make a game, especially alone, wait before posting something on a forum. Be it asking for help or whatever, because not only does it make you look like a pitiful and wasteful dumbass, who does not know how to do anything. But it also means that if you give up, and you most certainly give up, you will waste the time of those who actually signed up to work with your project.
Meh.

I for one am tired of all those [tornado fang]ing unoriginal 8-bit style megaman games.
I'm at the point where when I see one, it pisses me off.
Mainly because there's so many of them. Even the 8-bit like music makes me angry.
GET ORIGINAL PEOPLE! MAKE ACTUAL MUSIC WITH ACTUAL INSTRUMENTS! CAN'T YOU HAVE SOME DEGREE OF ORIGINALITY?!

And to add to that Superman thing...
Yeah, I know he's like this most of the series, but at least LATER he has some cool moments. In this opener... EVERYONE, everyone but Supes did something of actual importance.
Well, he kinda rescued J'Onn after he gave him brain damage. But that's about it.
I'm at the point where when I see one, it pisses me off.
Mainly because there's so many of them. Even the 8-bit like music makes me angry.

So me and my friend watched the three first episodes of Justice League cartoon.
It was my first time viewing it in some time, for him it was THE first.
At the end of the three parter (well, actually during it) we got to the conclusion that Superman was the most useless character in this series opener.
Seriously, he got [parasitic bomb] on majorly.
He was the one who got most damage, the most falls, and the most stupid "battle tactics". What the [tornado fang]?!
I mean not even he's invincible, but to be that [tornado fang]ing lame in the series opening, that's just pathetic.
At least we had some laughs. But it seems like I was right. The first season definitely wasn't as good as season 2 onwards.

We can't even get the patch we so desperately need because Microsoft is being a douche about the file size for updates (the same thing happened with Fez), which at this point makes me want to buy the PC version if the 360 version stays as a somewhat unfinished game.

Yes. Exactly.
I don't hate it, but I'm not crazy about it either. The fighting system seems just, well, not BAD, but [tornado fang]ing boring. Perhaps I'm spoiled by games such as GG and BB (or even KOF).
And I do have it patched. I did it immediately after I heard it came out, because I've been [tornado fang]ing hoping it will bring about new interest. But alas. It just dosen't work for me as much as I hoped it would.
I mean, [tornado fang]. I can't even bring myself to play Story Mode.
I'll try again once those new DLC charas are released. If that' will not work, I'm just ignoring it from that point.
