Just dropped in to say, that before I get on with this project of mine, I'll first have to clean my slate with other creative things I occupied myself with lately.
Like that damnable Rockman Gigagmix motion comic thing.
And Steinveiz/Karmilla.
Though in the case of the latter, I only require to finish the whole first case.
While the former is long overdue.
But in the meantime, I'll be planning things out for the Treasure Hunt.

« on: July 10, 2013, 10:15:55 PM »I rewatched Excel Saga recently. Still hilarious. But the original Japanese audio doesn't hold a candle to the dub. ADV really had fun with that one, and it worked out for the better.Manga is better. Different humor even, less based on references and more on actual [tornado fang]ing comedy.
Though it took it like, I believe three to four volumes to truly go into overdrive of awesome.
Shame I lack the money to buy the newest english volumes. : <
Though yeah, the dub of Excel Saga is [tornado fang]ing great.

« on: July 10, 2013, 07:10:43 AM »Well, aside from the Treasure Hunting RP I was contemplating in the past (Alongside the Mario Party RP I'm still working the concept of), we could do an RP version of the Road Trip that was in Comic Jam. It's also inevitable that a comical-themed RP will eventually turn dark, but I still believe that the storyline will eventually turn back to its campy, lighthearted self.Well, I can't really force you to throw your characters at me, but I would gladly accept Hajime at least, though I would need to read up on him like you said.
As for the musical concept, I'm still debating whether I should have my characters involved. Tarot Cat and its deck all have their own themes straight from the Magical Drop game, and I haven't used much of Hajime or Blazkrieg since I came back, so I doubt you'd understand enough about their personality to use. But if nothing else, there's still their profile in Neo Origins if you want to come up with some kind of musical concept for their inclusion.
So it seems so far so good with the Trasure Hunt.
Now... should it be a castle or a temple? I think a castle could add a bit of a "faux horror" atmosphere to it.

This will not be an RP.
This will be a story (more or less) in which I try to both give all your characters justice, and to make some music for all of them and some situation based stuff.
Just so that there's no mistake here.
It will basically be a test for me, both in writing form and in musical one.

It seems Sakura for example, and some others, not knowing much about YGO itself could not enjoy this too much.
So yeah, since we've pretty much gathered a huge amount of your guys characters, it's time to seriously start thinking about a setting.
As I siad, preferably something original, as in, not based on either Pokemon or YGO.
IT can be sci-fi, it can be a mixture of sci-fi and fantasy. Anything really... other than pure fantasy, because I'm sick of it. Sorry.
So yeah...
Clefant said a future sci-fi. Either Dystopian or Utopian.
I proposed an idea for a future sci-fi with space travel. Nation of RPM and Wily Empire, latter wants to conquer the former. A mysterious ship crashes on Earth's moon, some good characters go and retrieve it. Wily wants it too, for some EVIL reason.

Regarding Tron's project thing, I'd be happy to throw Archetype and Phi in.
But at this point in Wilypocalypse, both of their personalities are mostly unknown, especially Phi. Though I can give you a brief description of their personalities and why they're like that, if you don't mind spoilers.

Also, after some thinking, once everybody interesed will jump on the ship, the setting is established and I come up with a plot I will probably write a prologue for each character or group of characters to introduce them and their reasons (more or less) for doing something in the main story.
Then I'll start making theme songs for each of the characters the prologues are for.
Also, if we ever go with the future/sci-fi setting... then I already have an idea for some plot, though nothing is decided.
