I rewatched Excel Saga recently. Still hilarious. But the original Japanese audio doesn't hold a candle to the dub. ADV really had fun with that one, and it worked out for the better.Manga is better. Different humor even, less based on references and more on actual [tornado fang]ing comedy.
I'm guessing that with the setting as it is now, there won't be any battle themes or anything driving?Well... it's a bit of a shame, yeah...
Ehhh, I'll deal with it.
In the meantime I should really work on my character files for this forum.
I don't see why Disney would say no to it. Adding in the Star Wars and Marvel fandom would probably garner more interest. Hell, I'd consider playing it for that. You dirty, DIRTY nerd. : D
Huge haunted castle that leads to an underground temple!
Huge castle... that's actually a closed amusement park ride?
Well, aside from the Treasure Hunting RP I was contemplating in the past (Alongside the Mario Party RP I'm still working the concept of), we could do an RP version of the Road Trip that was in Comic Jam. It's also inevitable that a comical-themed RP will eventually turn dark, but I still believe that the storyline will eventually turn back to its campy, lighthearted self.Well, I can't really force you to throw your characters at me, but I would gladly accept Hajime at least, though I would need to read up on him like you said.
As for the musical concept, I'm still debating whether I should have my characters involved. Tarot Cat and its deck all have their own themes straight from the Magical Drop game, and I haven't used much of Hajime or Blazkrieg since I came back, so I doubt you'd understand enough about their personality to use. But if nothing else, there's still their profile in Neo Origins if you want to come up with some kind of musical concept for their inclusion.
I just kind of want something a little less dark since both the Pokemon RP and Wilypocalyse is pretty damn dark and or brooding.Ah, okay.
RPM Monster High.
I'm still not over that.
I kinda want something different, I remember White-Jet suggesting a Treasure Hunting RP before and I kind liked that. That sounds cool too.
I like the future sci-fi thing. Heh, you could go the "Dune" route and make it where the ability to travel through space is the most coveted resource available, and both sides are at arms over it!

That's why I specified the anime... If you put it in relative sense to the PokeRP now, we won't need [parasitic bomb] for YGO knowledge!
Screw the rules, we're RPM!
Would it make sense if I told you my IRL deck used to be Warrior before nobody in my vicinity played Yugioh at or below my level?
PB & PBPB are all yours, Tron.
As for the setting.... RPM YUGIOHHHHHHHHHH!!
Create themes based on when we duel!
You know, I think this sounds an even more appealing RP than Pokemon. After all, anime-Pokemon sticks closer to the game rules than anime-Yugioh does, and you can always Star-Trek your way through duels!
Regarding Tron's project thing, I'd be happy to throw Archetype and Phi in.
But at this point in Wilypocalypse, both of their personalities are mostly unknown, especially Phi. Though I can give you a brief description of their personalities and why they're like that, if you don't mind spoilers.
Also, I suppose I can be a grammar/punctuation "supervisor" of the overall project.
AHAHAHAHA [tornado fang] YOU SQUARE-ENIX.Wait, what?
Either way you can Sakura, Asch, Zeta, and Borock-bot if you wish.
