I just popped in Shadow the Hedgehog out of curiosity, just to see if it's as bad as I remember it.

...whoa, it's actually worse.

Ah, i remember when i first bought my copy. Played the game for about 3 days and literally put it up for auction the next. Never bothered to finish it. I really wonder why i even bought it in the first place... >_>

Are you guys sure that Sonic Colors won't include a homing attack?

If so, then it may be a drag. I know that the homing attack is overused, but you don't remove something that works.

Yes, it does include homing attack. It was in the trailer.

There even was a robot dog that Sam was meant to have, at one time.  8D

Ah yeah, i heard about that. It would've been [tornado fang]ing awesome to have a robotic dog at your side pummeling down enemies. XD

I believe there was even a concept art for it somewhere. Have to go search for it again.

Quote
Warner Bros. today confirmed the title and release window for the next Batman videogame developed by Rocksteady Studios. It's called Batman: Arkham City and it's coming next fall to PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.

As the title implies, Batman is headed to Gotham City for the sequel, which has now become the new maximum security "home" for all of the city's criminals. Not much else was revealed. WB says the game will feature a brand-new story, include a new cast of classic characters and villains, and new enhanced gameplay features.

Arkham City was one of several names registered for the game picked up on last month. Two other confirmed villains  so far include Mr. Freeze, played by voice actor Maurice LaMarche, and Talia al Ghul - daughter of Ra's al Ghul - played by actress Stana Katic.

Actor Mark Hamill confirmed to us in an interview last May he'll be reprising his role as the voice of Joker for the game for the last time ever. "This will be my last, there's no question about that," he said. "But it's the last hurrah."

THEY SHOWED OFF EVERYTHING NINTENDO THEY HAD IN E3

YOU HORRIBLE PERSON

GO HANG YOUR HEAD IN SHAME, YOU!

Seriously though, the gameplay looks tight. It seems they used all the good elements from the day stages of Unleashed.

Not that I'm trying to start something, but you are aware of the upcoming Okamiden, right?

Okamiden isn't a sequel. It's a "spiritual successor" according to Eshiro (producer).

I think Okami needs a sequel more than Zelda does.

Agreed.

SSF4 3DS [parasitic bomb].

Nothing new, just screens.

3DS graphics impress me once again. Though, i'm still wondering why they haven't made SSFIV for the Wii.

Anybody wanna hear Roger Craig Smith's Sonic?

http://www.sonicstadium.org/news/alton-towers-sonic-voice-actor-is-roger-craig-smith

...Yep.

His voice sounds a little exaggerated, but it's acceptable as he's trying to persuade people to go on whatever ride.

I can definitely see much potential coming from this guy. As long as he uses that voice in bit less forced tone, he's cool with me.

Wasn't that one alternate dimesions?

I would still consider the story involving "time travel". (with Blaze/Eggman Nega and whatnot)

Seeing how 8 out of 10 games utilize 8 bit graphics I'd say it would be pretty redundant to not use it again.

There's only so many times they can use 8-bit graphics without seeming like they're milking it.

Think about it: MM7 and 8 used a 16-bit style, and those games were created BEFORE MM9 (etc.) Who's to say they won't use that style. Using 8-bit all the time doesn't ensure the game is fun. It's just an easter egg for the fans.
